I smiled against his lips. “Then what are you waiting for?”
His eyes flared and he flipped me over on my back, his hips coming between mine. He was all muscle and power. He pushed against my core, my legs spreading wide to bring him closer. He was kissing me hungrily, pushing against me, his hands pulling at me.
“God, I can’t believe how fucking good you feel.” His mouth was so hot. I felt like I was going to explode.
“Danny, there seems to be something coming between us.” He looked down at me, concerned. I slid my hands over his hips and under the waistband of his boxers. “Mmmm, I want these gone.”
He smiled, blushing. He pushed up on his knees and slowly slid his boxers down his hips and over his frighteningly large erection.
“Oh, Danny! I don’t know about this.”
His smile fell a little. “What’s wrong, honey?”
I giggled. “I don’t think it’s gonna fit.”
He smirked and kicked off his boxers, chucking them on the floor. “We’re going to fit just fine together. We’re going to be perfect.”
Danny took himself in his hand and rubbed against my core. The slippery sensation lit up all of my nerve endings. I’d never felt so much pleasure, I felt like I was going to come apart just from that. My eyes squeezed shut and my head fell back. He was breathing hard, too. He moved back, kissing his way down my body.
“Danny, you’ve already given me an orgasm. That’s a 100% improvement from my last experience,” I panted out. I could barely put two coherent thoughts together. “You don’t have to... Oh my GOD! Danny!”
The man had to have five hands and three tongues and seven sets of lips to be making my body sing the way it was. I was his instrument and he was playing a perfect tune. And when my body hit its high note and fell back down to earth, he crawled up to kiss me, breathing just as heavy.
“Are you ready for me, honey,” he asked in a rough voice.
I stilled him with the touch of my fingers on his temples and my kiss. He stared down at me hungrily, like that starved man who’d been eyeing a long-legged, gourmet meal for weeks who was finally seated at the table and just wanted to dig in.
“Oh please, Danny. Please!”
He entered me with a hoarse cry and I felt like I was being split in two. I sucked in a sharp breath and Danny cursed.
“I’m sorry. I hurt you, didn’t I?”
I smiled tensely up at him. “I’m ok, just told you it wouldn’t fit.”
He chuckled and stopped moving. The pressure was intense and finally filled the void I’d been feeling around him.
“Don’t stop! God, don’t stop now!”
He laughed and shifted our position, making way for him to enter me to the hilt. Whatever pain he caused he quickly covered with kisses and pleasure like I’d never imagined was possible. He moved slowly but forcefully, gripping my shoulders and then my hips. His head was thrown back in ecstasy and then his forehead pressed against mine as his face tightened.
“I can’t...I can’t...Fuck! Jesse! I can’t stop...Oh, Jesse!”
His eyes flew open, our eyes connected. He came, and came, and came, and tried to crawl up inside me, his muscles twitching and tensing long after he was empty. He was so incredibly beautiful like this. He finally collapsed on top of me, burying his face in my shoulder. I ran my hands over his back and his flawless ass.
“God, you’re fucking sublime, Jesse. That was so good,” he groaned.
I couldn’t help giggling. “You really do have a potty mouth, Mr. Black!”
He laughed nervously. “I’m sorry. When I try not to cuss it just makes it worse.” I kissed his neck and he sighed. “Oh, shit, I’m probably squishing you.” He rolled off of me and I took a deep breath, a little exaggerated. “Are you ok,” he asked, worriedly.
“No. I’m way beyond ok. Beyond good, beyond great, pretty much at nirvana here.” I stretched my body, now tight and swollen in all the right places. I knew I had the stupidest smile on my face, but I couldn’t help it. Danny was lying on his back next to me watching me with total adoration.
“Was it ok? I feel bad it was so short. I just had no control at all. You’ve had me in knots for weeks now,” he said, causing me to flush all over again.
“Danny, you were amazing. It was perfect. Just like you said.”
He rolled over to me and kissed me tenderly.
I pulled the sheet over me, suddenly very self-conscious. “I’m sorry I’m not very experienced. I hope-”
He rolled into me and held my face in his hands. “You. Are. Perfect. And I am so fucking in love with you I feel like I’m going to burst.”
I giggled. “I think you already did.”
He rolled his eyes and then hopped out of bed. “Let me get you a towel,” he said as he walked around the bed and into his magnificent bathroom.
I loved the way he moved. He moved very much like a boxer. His muscles coiled and contracted with every step. He was light on his feet, agile and graceful. I’d noticed he was never completely at ease, not when we were working, not when he was playing around with me or Jane or anyone. His body was always on alert. The only time I had ever seen him close to relaxed was when I was reading to him. I realized in that moment that I had so much to learn about him. For that reason I was frightened. I loved all the things I knew about him. I loved the way he interacted with the people close to him. He’d never treated me with anything but care and affection, but there was so much I didn’t know.
He came back in and I just gazed at him in appreciation. I'd seen him shirtless, a sight I'd never get enough of. But his lower half was just as stunning. His hips and thighs were thick, his ass high and perfectly shaped. He didn't have a weightlifter's build. His body was naturally toned, a gorgeous male specimen. He was so goddamned perfect and here I was in his bed! Finally!
He handed me the towel, took a long drink of water, turned on some music, and then came back to bed, all the while splendidly naked. He turned to look at me and frowned. “What’s wrong?”
I giggled. “There is absolutely nothing wrong with you walking naked around your bedroom for me to admire. Please, continue. Feel free to do some exercises, play your guitar, hell, even dust the furniture. Just don’t mind me.”
He rubbed his hand over the top of his head. “You’re killing me.” He climbed onto the bed and wrapped himself around me.
“Why? I’m just appreciating the view. I hated having to institute a dress code before, but you are just such an irresistible temptation.”
He laughed into my shoulder, kissing and nuzzling it. “Yeah, dress codes are a real bummer. Take it from a Catholic school dropout.”
I looked up at him.
“That’s right, I forgot it said it in your file that your school was actually a Catholic school. How did you ever survive?”
He laughed. “I think you call it my ‘gimme’ look? I found a few of the nuns who weren't immune to it. I got away with a lot.”
“I bet you did. Did that look work on your parents, too?” His smile fell a little so I turned to face him. “You haven’t talked about your parents at all. There’s so much we don’t know about each other. Is there anything that’s off limits to talk about?”
“Of course not, honey. Doesn’t mean I like talking about my parents in bed with you, but you can ask me anything. I don’t want there to be anything that we don’t talk about. I couldn’t stand not talking to you. I feel like I never want to stop.”
“Me neither. I can’t believe how your voice sounds! I seriously had no idea what you were going to sound like. It’s probably better I didn’t know. I think your voice is just as sexy as the rest of you.”
He laughed again. “You are too much, woman. I mean that. I don’t think I’m ever letting you out of my bed.”
“You’ll have to at some point. You do have a daughter to raise, a diploma to earn, a band to front, the world to conquer... And if I don’t come home, Cosmo will kick your ass.” I laughed at the thoug
ht of that but Danny grew quiet. “What is it,” I asked when I saw the expression on his face.
“Jesse, I don’t want you to go. I want you to stay here, with me. I don’t want you going back to that place.”
I turned to face him. “Danny, I can’t just move in with you! What about Jane? She thinks of me as your teacher. We can’t just spring it on her that ‘hey, guess who’s moving in?’ You need to talk to her about us before we even consider any of that.”
He looked frustrated. “Janey loves you, and I will talk to her, but I want you to live with me. I want you here for good. For once I feel like this place is a home, because you’re here.”
I smiled at him and kissed him. “I’m not going anywhere tonight, Danny. Ok? Let’s just spend tonight getting to know more about each other and just think about right now.”
It was what we needed, what I needed. As happy as I was about being with him, I wasn’t ready for him to completely take over, and I had a feeling that’s exactly what would happen if I wasn’t careful.
Danny pushed my hair back from my face and searched my eyes. “I don’t want to scare you, Jesse. But I know what I want...”
I put my finger to his lips and caressed his side with my other hand, his ribs and down his hip.
“I know. We’ll get there. I promise. I just want to be here with you right now.”
We kissed in agreement and soon our tangled limbs were fluidly moving and linking together. Danny pulled me on top of him and kissed me hard. My lips were swollen from his tugging and sucking on them. I loved it. Danny made love like he lived his life: passionate, determined, and somewhat aggressive. He was tender, too, and so loving. When I touched him and found him ready for me again, I lifted up and sank down slowly on top of him.
“Fuck, Jesse. You’re so tight and so...”
He was tense under my hands. He gripped my hips hard, pushing into me and hitting a really good spot. His hands moved to my breasts and I felt self-conscious again. He must have seen something in my face because he sat up, pushing deeper into me.
“Danny, it’s so much,” I gasped, feeling some pain.
He stopped moving and held me still. “You better not be in there worrying about anything,” he said, frowning. “You ok?”
I nodded, but I placed my hand against his chest.
“I think we’re going to have to build up to this position,” I said while lifting up a bit. “I’m sorry I’m not more for you.”
He had that disgusted look on his face as he lifted me off of him and curled me up against his chest.
“Jesse, it’s my fault. I just get too carried away with you. I need to be more careful. But if you could see how fucking beautiful you are on top of me you wouldn’t be able to stop either.”
I laughed. “But I know I’m not built like Brooke.”
He grabbed my shoulder and jerked me to face him. “You better not ever compare yourself to her, Jesse. Ever. I. Love. You. She’s my distant past. You are my now and my future, got it?”
I nodded, sorry I was ruining the mood.
“Besides,” he said with a sexy-as-hell smirk. “She’s man-made. You’re a perfect act of creation walking and dancing on the most amazing legs I’ve ever seen. Watching you last night was like magic! I knew you’d be breathtaking, but I had no idea... You are stunning. I’m in such awe of you.” I giggled. “Ok, you’re not supposed to laugh at me,” he said, annoyed.
“I’m sorry, Danny. It’s just that you say these things to me and I don’t know how to respond. I’m not laughing at you, not at all. I just don’t see me the way you see me.”
He smiled knowingly. “You’ve got a whole apartment full of guys next door to you in love with you. My band is in major lust with you. I’m the lucky one who gets to see you like this and I don’t know what I did to deserve you, but I’m going to make you happy every possible way I can.”
“You already do,” I whispered. I cradled his jaw in my hands and kissed him gently. “I’m sorry I got us off course a little. Please feel free to continue with your previous activity,” I purred and he smiled down at me.
“I promise I’ll be more careful.”
And he so was. After making love twice more he suggested we take a bath together in his ridiculously huge bath tub.
“I bet I could train for the Olympics in this tub. Jesus, Danny! This thing is huge,” I said when he led me in there.
He laughed. “You say the nicest things to me.”
I swatted him on his perfect ass as he bent over to turn on the faucets. The water felt so good. I hadn’t realized how much our workout had left me feeling sore. Danny sat behind me and used his shower gel to massage my shoulders and neck.
“Is there anything you can’t do? Those hands of yours are way too talented,” I sighed.
He chuckled and I loved the rumble in his chest. “Any excuse to touch you, Jesse. I hope it doesn’t get old for you. I feel like I’ve got a lot of time to make up for.”
“Of course I don’t mind. Although I have to admit, I am a little disappointed I didn’t hold out until you got your diploma. I’m feeling quite unprofessional over here.”
He barked out a laugh. “After what we just did if you were feeling professional I’d be concerned.”
I turned and splashed him and he pulled me tight against his chest.
I snuggled up to him and said, “I love it when you laugh, Danny. That first night I met you I felt so much anger and bitterness from you. I wasn’t sure we were going to be able to work together.”
He rubbed his chin across my hair. “I guess I’ve been pretty bitter for a long time. When you met me, I was also scared to death that I wasn’t ever going to be able to sing again. Not being able to talk was fucking pissing me off. Having other people talk for me? Not fucking cool.” We sat quietly like that for a few minutes, him massaging my shoulders gently and then rinsing me off.
“I want to say something about what you said a minute ago, Jesse... I can’t tell you how glad I am that we didn’t wait. You belong right here: with me, next to me, under me, on me...” I splashed him again and he laughed. “We’re going to work this out and you aren’t off the hook yet, Ms. Martin. I’m still going to need you. Now more than ever, I need you.”
I looked up at him and smiled, seeing his vulnerability showing through.
“It feels nice to be needed. And I’m here for you, whatever you need. I told you that before... Not sure why it didn’t sink in,” I said. I didn’t mean to bring up anything negative, but I wanted to understand why he pushed me away that day. “What happened, Danny? Why didn’t you trust me when I said I would be there for you?”
He looked away and shrugged. “It wasn’t that I didn’t think you’d be there for me. I knew you’d continue as my teacher, but I needed Jesse, not Ms. Martin, and the way you were talking was all Ms. Martin. I panicked."
I turned to face him. “They’re one and the same and you have both,” I said, holding his face in my hands.
He turned to the side and kissed my hand. “I’m sorry I pushed you away, Jesse. That was by far the stupidest thing I’ve ever done.”
“Well, it’s undone. Now I think you need to be washed. Turn around.” He smirked and then complied. I grabbed his shower gel and squirted some on my hands. “Mmmm, this is part of why you smell so good,” I breathed.
He chuckled, but as soon as my hands started working on his back it turned to soft moans. “That feels so good.” He rolled his head around on his neck and I shook my head.
“You never relax, do you?”
He peered at me over his shoulder. “What do you mean? I am relaxed.”
“No you aren’t. I can feel the tension under my hands. Don't you feel it?”
“No, I feel pretty damn good right now. But you can feel free to keep that up, or you know, you can go lower.” I pinched his side and he laughed.
“I’m serious, Danny. You seem to always be tense, like ready for something to happen. Maybe you aren’t a
ware of it.”
He didn’t answer right away and in his profile I could see his jaw clenching. “I guess you’re right. You asked earlier about my parents. Da made sure I was always on guard. He had a temper and whenever he was around, we all kind of made sure we did whatever we could to keep from setting him off. I wasn’t very successful but after a few times of him kicking my ass I wasn’t caught off guard anymore.”
My hands stopped moving and I pulled myself closer, pressing my chest to his back. I ran my hands along his chest and stomach.
“Do you have brothers and sisters, or was it just you and your mother?” He grabbed my hands and squeezed.
“Just me and Ma. She tried to keep me out of his way a lot. He kept his hands to himself with her for the most part. He wasn’t like crazy abusive, beating the shit out of us daily or anything. But when I did piss him off, he let me know it.” He chuckled. “He was part of the reason I left home at 15. The other part was, well, rock n’ roll.”
I chuckled softly. “Were you in a band back then, or did that happen later?” He shook his head. “No, Alex and I knew each other from childhood. He turned 17 and we ran away to LA together. We bummed around for about three or four years before we met Bronson and Julian. Then we formed Blackened and the rest is history. Alex’s parents were ok with us going. They were kind of leftover hippies and let him go his own way. My parents flipped out about it, but I think secretly my father was glad his ‘embarrassment’ was gone.” Ouch!
“What’s your relationship like now?”
“I see them from time to time. Da and I don’t really talk much, but I’ve always been close to my Ma. She’s the one who started me in music. When I was old enough to sit up at the piano, she sat me next to her and taught me. I picked up guitar, too. She brought teachers to the house and everything.”
“But the xylophone was all you?”
He squeezed my hands tighter. “No laughing! Not fair.”
I tried to wiggle free, but he had me tight. “The only reason I would even consider teasing you is because you seem embarrassed about it when I’m sure you were a lady-killer even back then!”
