Cassie smiled at him, tears welling in her eyes and falling down her cheeks. “I just got the only present I’ve wanted since I was young. My mother is alive and recovering, you’re here with me, and for the first time in my life, I feel free. What else could you give me?”
He pulled a small box from inside his pocket. Opening it, he presented to Cassie her wedding rings. Sean had carried them around since the day she was kidnapped. Looking up at his warm, deep green eyes, Cassie knew she was lost. Again.
As he placed the bands onto her left hand again, she heard him repeat the vow they had promised to each other so long ago.

A word about the author…
Born in the North but raised in the Deep South, Nancy is a product of long ago lazy summer afternoons spent on the front porch, listening to the family storytellers. Soon she began putting her favorites down on paper, and a new career was launched.
When not in her woman cave, Nancy spends time with her husband, children, four horses, three dogs, two cats, and assorted friends. She also spends time rescuing dogs and horses from abusive situations.
