“A container full of weapons, or more. Documents everywhere.”
“You douse everything good before lighting it?” he asked.
“Yep,” said George Washington. It went up good. They’ll find the weapons, but they won’t ever be usable. What bothered me a little was we didn’t hear any explosions as we drove off.”
“It takes a little time for them to cook-off,” Geary said, stepping out of the van. “I think it’s time for me to get out of dodge for a while. I hear the fishing in Omer is going to be good this year.”

“Suckers,” Geary told him, and then turned, and started walking away.
“Suckers?” the man asked. “Really? People eat those?”
When he didn’t get a reply, he looked up. The old man had ghosted away into the night.
