“Shit, I been telling Trin the same thing. Then she tried to have my lil sisters around that ho. I ended that shit quick. Niyah nor Destiny ain’t being around that thot. I’ma already end up beating the fuck out of Niyah’s ass.”
“Why? What lil mama do?” Slim asked. He looked at Shaniyah as his little sister. He didn’t go around them too often but because they were his homeboy’s siblings, they were his family too.
“Trin called and told me that she didn’t see her in school today and I know damn well my mama sent her,” Ray’Shun explained.
“Man, don’t tell me shawty over there skipping already.” Before Slim could finish his sentence good, they heard Rock mumble something, and it grabbed Ray’Shun’s attention.
“What the fuck you mean, you know Kush ain’t doing it like that? Like what?” Ray’Shun was ready to go into beast mode. He didn’t know what Rock meant by that, but he was pretty sure he wasn’t going to like it.
“Man, I wasn’t aware until he brought it to my attention, and when he came and borrowed my car this morning, shit, I didn’t ask no questions. I just handed him my keys,” Rock tried explaining. He was still leaving out the main detail.
“So, what exactly are you saying, Rock? Seems like to me, you’re beating around the bush about something,” said Slim. Slim was an instigator and knew Ray’Shun would act a fool if Rock was about to say what he thought he was.
“Man, Kush came to me a few days ago and told me that he felt bad because he been talking to your little sister for a few months. Then when he came and got the whip, I didn’t know what for, but since you said she skipped school, it don’t take a rocket scientist to know that they were together.” Rock left everybody speechless.
Yeah, and it didn’t take a rocket scientist to know that Ray’Shun was pissed, either. His face had turned to the lightest shade of red and those pretty green eyes of his was now black as coal.
“You mean to tell me, that this nigga is fucking my lil sister?” Ray’Shun sounded like the devil himself when he asked that question, that’s just how mad he was.
“I mean, he didn’t say those exact words, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was. You know Kush and not saying your little sister is a ho, but cuz ain’t talking to nobody unless they giving it up.”

Out of nowhere, Ray’Shun had punched Rock dead in his mouth. Out of reflex, Rock jumped up but that was all he did. Slim was now holding Ray’Shun but Rock still didn’t make a move because in reality, he didn’t want to go toe to toe with Ray’Shun. Rock wasn’t a fighter and he knew he would have to take on them both if he went for Ray’Shun. Now, Slim was cool with Rock, but Ray’Shun was more of a brother to him and he would hate for he and his ‘brother’ to beat Rock’s ass on his own front porch.
“Aye bruh, calm down. This ain’t the nigga you got beef with,” said Slim.
“Yeah, I ain’t the one that’s fucking yo’ lil sister,” Rock co-signed. Yeah, he talked a lot of shit, but wouldn’t bust a grape. Slim turned to face him with a deadly mug.
“Shut the fuck up before I let him beat yo’ ass,” he said.
“Fuck off me.” Ray’Shun pushed Slim away from him. “Deliver that shit to yo’ bitch ass cousin. Tell that nigga to be ready when I see him because I’m fucking him up on sight.” With that, Ray’Shun walked off. Jumping into his ride, he burnt rubber all that way down the street. He was heated, there was certain code you just didn’t break and that was fucking with someone you associate with, little sister. Especially when she was barely a teenager. Yeah, he had a little fling with Be-Be, Slim sister, but hell, she was older than the both of them, so technically he didn’t see anything wrong with that. So, yeah, it was a must he got up with Kush’s ass.

Shaniqua was lying in bed when her husband walked in and tossed the box of tampons to her. It was so funny because she damn near had to beg him to get them. She didn’t understand why men had such a big problem buying feminine product for their women. Shit, it’s not like folks would think they were theirs.
“Thanks baby. I would’ve went and got them myself but my stomach is cramping entirely too bad,” Shaniqua clarified.
“It’s all good. So did you talk to Niyah, yet?” Ronny asked as he laid across the foot of the bed.
“Hell nah! Talked to her about what? I let my belt do the talking to her ass, but you already knew she tried to act like she hadn’t done anything and didn’t know why the school would say she missed a day. But Trinity didn’t even see her at all today like she normally does,” Shaniqua explained to Ronny, and all he could do was shake his head as he sighed.
“Let me go ahead and jump in the shower so I can go in there and see what’s up with her. Niyah gonna make me catch a case.” Getting off the bed, Ronny walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. Shaniqua could hear the hurt in his voice. Ronny loved all his kids but Shaniyah, she was his heart. That girl did no wrong in Ronny’s eyes.
“Mama.” It seemed just as soon as the shower came on, Shaniqua could hear a lot of commotion going on downstairs. Jumping up, she ran down there to see what in the hell was going on inside her home and which one of her kids was screaming her name. When she got down there, Ray’Shun had Shaniyah thrown against the wall and he was all in her face.
“Go ahead and lie and say you ain’t fucking that nigga so I can fuck you up,” Ray’Shun roared in anger. Trinity was trying to pull him back but he wasn’t budging, while the other kids stood back scared to death.
“What in the hell is going on? Ray’Shun get your hands off her.” Ray’Shun still wasn’t budging so Shaniqua begun trying to pry his hands off Shaniyah. “Boy, what is wrong with you? Move Ray’Shun before you hurt her. Ronny!” The expression on Ray’Shun’s face even scared Shaniqua. She didn’t know what was going on, but it left her no other choice but to call Ronny on him.
Hearing his father’s name, Ray’Shun eased back. “Go ahead and tell mama what yo’ hot ass been out there doing. Yeah, I know everything. I know all about you out there being a ho.”
“Ray’Shun!” Shaniqua yelled. She was in disbelief with his attitude.
“She is a ho. That’s all she is!” At the time, Ray’Shun meant every word he said. “And while you at it, tell that nigga Kush, I’m fucking his ass up!” He was looking at his little sister as if he could go through her.
“Wait. Who in the hell is some damn Kush?” asked Shaniqua as she stared at Shaniyah. Shaniyah dropped her head, not knowing what to say and even Destiny was afraid for her sister.
“Tell her that’s the mothafucka that got you out here being a ho. Go ahead and tell her who got you out here being a thot,” Ray’Shun raved.
“Ray’Shun, that’s enough! Hush with all that damn cursing like you grown! Now, I understand you upset but I’m still your mama and yo’ ass gon’ show me some fucking respect; and she not about to be another ho or a damn thot.” Ray’Shun placed his hands on the top of his head as he continued to stare at Shaniyah through narrowed eyes. Turning back around, Shaniqua asked once again, “Who the fuck is Kush, Niyah?”
Shaniyah looked up with tears in her eyes, but before she could even utter a word out, Ronny rounded the corner.
“So, when was you gonna tell me that you’re pregnant, Shan?” he asked while holding the positive pregnancy test in the air. Shaniqua looked at him confusedly then snatched the test out of his hand.
“Nigga, I just had you to bring me some tampons home. This ain’t mines!” By now, the whole room had gotten so quiet you could’ve heard a needle drop on the floor.
“Oh, it better be yours and not nobody else in this mothafuckin’ house!” Ronny and Shaniqua’s eyes went to Shaniyah and who could really blame them with her behavior nowadays. Ray’Shun’s eyes went to Trinity because from day one, they had been having unprotected sex. They didn’t know who, but someone in that room was pregnant and it damn sure wasn’t Shaniqua, that time around.
