Fae MisFortunes Page 18

I found a great deal of satisfaction in watching his smile fade as he turned and headed into the house. A shiver ran over me and I rubbed my arms. There was something not quite right about Micah, and I had just made it my job to figure out what that not right thing might be.

I hustled to get inside. I wanted to see the faces of my family when Stumpy explained he pulled Micah out of a fight at the local brothel.

Boring? Nope. This family was never that. Not even a little bit.

  Shifter Secrets - Sid & Sin #3

Home is where, when you show up, they have to take you in - right? So when Micah shows up with his stepson Nico in tow, Grandma Fortin gives them a place to stay.

Nico is a loup garou shifter with an eye for the women and he takes a good long look at Sidonie.

Trying to not look back, Sid is working with Sin and the SPD team to try and determine what is going on with the shifters. Someone in Belle Cove is doing their best to expose the community and it’s getting deadly.

Can Sid & Sin stop the murderous exposure before the shifters, and every other supernatural in Belle Cove, is outed to the world?

Check out the third book in this five-star series that people say “mixes magical issues with mundane, making it believable.”

Jericho - The Hybrid Chronicles #1

He had made the ultimate sacrifice…only he wasn’t really dead.

He signed their forms. He accepted their diagnosis. He welcomed the treatment.

He changed his name and disappeared.

Now he is treated as less than human. A pet, held in the Facility until he and his team are let loose on a government-sanctioned target.

Except this next target isn’t some terrorist or criminal - it’s a teenage girl on US soil, along with the woman who stole his heart.

Jericho and his team may be a different kind of soldier, but they still hold to their moral codes and honor. Going against a direct order is not something they would normally consider…

But nothing about this team is normal.

While an author usually writes in solitude - I always have at least two of the furballs hanging out with me. My dogs, Ace and Bear, my cats, Moushie and Mitchie, are as much a part of my support system as the two-legged people.

As for the two-legged people - my Mumma is my biggest fan. I’m so blessed to have her. How many authors are lucky enough to have their Mom selling their books at Bible Study and League bowling nights?

My son, Wayne, makes me coffee and listens to my brainstorming and helps me figure out story hiccups. He’s awesome and I am so grateful.

Donna is a friend from childhood who has become an incredible editor and support person on this journey. Her humor and wisdom are lifelines. Thanks just isn’t enough.

A couple of months ago, Rick Sutherland offered to help with my FB group and his encouragement, cheerleading, and help with keeping people engaged has been priceless. Thank you, Rick, for everything.

Lizzie Dunlap of Pixie Covers is my hero. Without her gifted art and generous heart, you wouldn’t have these books. Check out her work at pixiecovers.com.

Indie authors, lucky authors, get mentors. I have one in Kimbra Swain. Her input, advice, and support are immeasurable. Thanks, Kimbra.

Lastly, we authors ask often for reviews from our readers - and it’s not an ego stroke. Most of us just skim the reviews for good quotes for advertising because reviews are for the readers. Reviews are also for the stores that base our ranking and advertising options off of the number and quality of our reviews. (Quality meaning number of stars, not number of words.) You can leave a three word review and it counts more than just clicking the star ranking on your e-reader. Please take a moment and leave an honest review. It really is the best way to boost your authors. Thank you.

T.K. Eldridge retired from a career in Intelligence for the US Gov’t to write. The experiences from then are now being used to feed the muse for paranormal romance, thrillers, supernatural, and urban fantasy stories. When they’re not writing, they are enjoying life in the Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina. Two dogs, two cats, a garden, a craft hobby and a love of Celtic Traditional music keep them from spending too much time at the computer.
