I run a hand over his firm bottom and hear him moan while his cock twitches. As I wiggle to try and get into a more comfortable position, he slips out and rests against my thigh.
He wraps an arm around my waist and positions us so we’re facing. “You’d tempt a monk,” he declares, pulling me closer.
“I only want to tempt you.”
“I’m easy.” He grins. “How sore are you?”
I feel a blush working it’s way up and into my face. Michael cups my face with one hand and brushes his thumb along my lips. “Don’t be embarrassed.”
“I’m more uncomfortable than sore. I mean,” I grin, “you’re not exactly small.”
Now Michael blushes. “Let’s talk about something else, because talking about my dick is only going to get him all excited again.”
I wrap my arm around his waist and ask him, “Is it always like that between two people?”
He offers me a wry smile and brushes the tips of his fingers across my forehead. “It’s never been like that for me before. There haven’t been all that many and certainly no one as important to me as you are, so I think that’s what made all the difference.”
“I’m happy Michael. Really happy. Until I met you, I was content, but now, I realize I wasn’t truly happy, not like the way I feel now.”
“I’m glad.”
“Doesn’t it frighten you?”
“I’m not missing anything, Brooke. I’m also reading your message loud and clear, and I couldn’t be happier.” He kisses my lips. “Let’s sleep.” He drags the sheet over us.
Michael opens one eye and moans, “You’re wide awake? Didn’t I tire you out?”
“I’m tired, but I’m excited.”
His eyes pop wide and he gives me a lazy grin. “Excited, huh?” A large, warm palm slides over my bottom and, as I slip my leg over his hip, he snuggles me in closer.
“This, with you, is all new to me,” I grin, “which is obvious, but I like it. I like how I feel when I’m with you and I’m afraid I’ll get up tomorrow morning and it will all have been a dream.”
“Brooke, this between us is real, okay?” He wraps his arms around me as I nuzzle into his chest.
A yawn makes me a liar. “Okay, perhaps I should sleep.” I yawn again. “I’m going to the beach tomorrow with Carrie and Sinclair.”
“You are?”
“Yeah.”
“You don’t sound too enthusiastic about it.”
“I’m not really, and I can’t help wondering what Carrie is up to. These days, she always has a motive except this time I can’t figure it out.”
“Hmm.” He gently rubs along my back in soothing strokes. “Perhaps I should join you for lunch.”
I smile against him. “I’d love to see you at lunch.” I kiss his chest. “I’ll message you when and where.”
“I promise to be there.” He kisses the top of my head as I slowly drift off to sleep, secure in the warmth of his hands.
As I start to wake, I find that I’m secured against Michael’s chest as he carries me into the bathroom. I hear the slosh of water and startle as Michael starts to sit with me in his arms. The warm water comes up to my shoulders once he’s fully seated, and I certainly don’t miss the throbbing hardness that’s trapped between us.
He chuckles. “Ignore him for a while. I want to make sure you’re okay.”
“Hmm,” I snuggle my face into his neck. “I’m more than okay.” Straddling him, I wince, which he catches.
“That’s what I mean. It was your first time last night. We did it twice, and as you’ve already stated, I’m on the large side, so let me take care of you.”
He slips a soap-covered hand between my legs and gently strokes where I ache. I flinch at first but then his rhythm becomes arousing. It’s clear he knows it too, judging by the cocky smirk on his face.
It soon changes when I remove his hand and settle a lot closer to him, so close that his dick throbs against my belly. I move his hand over my bottom and whisper, “Keep stroking.”
His hands tremble. When I cover my hands in bubble and wrap them around his heavy shaft, he clenches me to him. “I’m going to come if you do that.”
“I want you to. I want you to come all over me.”
He growls and lifts me up and down so his shaft gets friction from my belly. I continue while his hands slip beneath me and he inserts a digit into my wet channel. “That feels good.” I grip his shoulders and rock into him. My eyes stay glued to the head of his shaft. Watching the bulbous head flare and seep with pre-come heats my arousal and nothing can stop the climax that rushes through me.
My eyes roll and I moan while I clutch Michael to me, his hips twitch and I feel his release as he squirts all over my belly and breasts.
He groans, throwing his head back the tendons in his neck pulse. So while he’s distracted in the thrall of orgasm, I reach between us and grab his cock. I pump my fist and watch as more creamy liquid shoots out, and more still. I stroke until there’s nothing left and when his gaze holds mine, I see surprise and exhaustion.
“You loved that?” Although I asked him the question, I certainly don’t expect an answer. “It was hot watching you come because of me.”
“I always come because of you.” He chuckles and, holding my bottom, he slides me toward his knees while his eyes rove over my chest. “I made a mess,” he comments.
“Mmm.” I run a finger through the semen and watch as his eyes darken and his cock sits up and takes notice. “But, I’m not sure I can have any part of you inside of me right now,” I admit, sadly.
Michael hugs me to him, and then, very carefully, proceeds to clean me with a soft sponge. “We need to behave for a few days while you heal.” He kisses between my breasts and then my lips. “I’ll be happy to just hold you in my bed. I’ll be even happier to hold you in my bed back in Lexington. That’s where I want to see you. I want to see you wearing one of my shirts and nothing else while you eat breakfast with me in my kitchen.” He cups my face in a tender caress. “I want to drink hot chocolate with you while we’re wrapped in blankets to keep warm on my veranda overlooking the lake.”
I exhale slowly while my belly fills with nerves. “That sounds—”
“Anyone here?”
Our heads turn toward the sound of Carrie’s angry voice before we look back at each other. “You stay here. I’ll get rid of her.” Michael’s face is filled with determination.
“What? No!” I stand on shaky legs and Michael helps me to keep my balance. “She isn’t seeing you without clothes.” I shake my head. “Like hell.” I quickly grab a large towel and wrap it around me. “You get dressed and come out. I’ll change then.”
Before he can catch me, I dash out of the bathroom, annoyed that she ruined a perfect moment between us.
Just in time, it would seem. “Those aren’t yours to look at,” I hiss.
“Ah,” she turns, letting Michael’s papers drift back to the table, “my little sister has claws.”
“I’m not in the mood for you right now, Carrie. You have no right coming in here without an invitation.”
“Father owns this villa.”
“And, Michael is staying here while he works. Which means you knock at the front door and wait for him to answer.” Seeing that she doesn’t care, I add, “I’m sure Dad will be telling you the same when I ask him for clarification later.”
Michael slips behind me and wraps an arm around my shoulders. “I have a meeting with your father later this morning, I’ll be sure to ask him to clarify for me on your behalf Carrie.”
Her face twists in anger.
“I’m going to get dressed. Did you actually want anything?” I ask.
“I wanted to remind you about the beach with Sinclair. Wondered if you’d forgotten.” She moves slowly toward the door, her gaze roaming over Michael.
I narrow my eyes. “No, I haven’t. It’s still early.” I raise a brow. “I’ll meet you up at the house in an hour. Sinclair should be
awake by then.”
“Trying to get rid of me?” she asks, her eyes gleaming with some emotion that I can’t place.
Mine are probably showing just how irritated I am with her, which is why she’s prolonging this. Instead of playing her games, I throw my hands up in the air. “I’ll see you later.” I storm into Michael’s bedroom to grab my clothes. As I reach for my dress, I spy a shirt of Michael’s. Smiling to myself, I slip it on and only fasten a few buttons before I sit on the end of the bed and wait for him.

Smiling, I drop onto one of the sun lounges that are in the shade on Sirena and Garrett’s private balcony with my sleeping nephew secured in my arms. I couldn’t resist collecting him from his bassinet on my way past, although I know my sister will have a few choice words for me when she discovers that fact.
Who can resist such a cute baby though? He sleeps with his thumb in his mouth and suckles away on the tip, which is damn cute. The soft murmurs he utters make me crave having the whole package…with Brooke.
I’ve never even considered this with a woman...a life, a family, everything Sirena has. Now, I can’t get the thoughts out of my head. Brooke is like a breath of fresh air whose smile lights me up from the inside. I want to know every little thing about her that makes her tick.
I certainly know how to pleasure her and we’ve got other ways to discover. I just may need to rethink the whole bit about her wearing my shirts because she’s too damn sexy in them. Like this morning. When I’d shoved her sister out of the door and gone looking for her, what I’d found had made me late for the meeting with her father.
“Mmm,” I hear mumbled beside me.
My thoughts close down as I turn my head and grin at Sirena. She’s more than my sister, she’s one of my best friends. We don’t tell each other everything because that would just be too weird considering, but I do tell her a lot of shit I probably should think about first.
“What’s gotten you so distracted that you risk waking my son, and you don’t even realize I’m sitting beside you?” She raises a brow. “Although I probably know your mind is on your girlfriend.”
I chuckle and when Elias groans and wiggles, I think better of it. “Brooke is on my mind,” I whisper, “but, I’ve come from a meeting with Mitchell and I think my time on the island isn’t going to be as long as originally planned.”
She frowns, but when Garrett walks up behind her and settles his hand on her shoulders, her face lights up. She tugs him down beside her, and urges, “You were saying.”
I sigh and look off into the distance.
“What’s happened that Mitchell doesn’t want you here anymore?” Garrett asks.
“It isn’t him,” I admit. “I have everything I need for now, but what I don’t have is my partner to talk things through and pass back and forth sketches until we get it right. It’s going to get more difficult for me to work here without that.” I turn to them. “You know Alexander and I work as a team and although I know I’m capable of handling this alone, it would be easier and less time consuming if he was involved as well.”
“So,” Garrett starts, “I’m guessing the reluctance now is because of Brooke?” He raises a brow.
“I want her to come back with me, but she hasn’t been on the island that long. A couple of days.” I laugh. “The same amount of time that I’ve known her.” I shake my head. “I keep thinking it’s wrong to want her to leave her family to join me back in the states.” I shrug. “I’ll let her know what’s going on and see what she wants to do. It’s the only thing I can do really.”
“And if she wants to stay here?” Sirena asks.
I stare at my sister. “I honestly don’t know.”
Glancing down at the precious bundle in my arms, I’m hoping I’m not about to get my heart broken.
“Well, if I can help in anyway, you know I will, right?”
“I know that.”
“Good.”
“Where is Brooke?” Garrett asks.
“She’s at the beach with her sister and a friend of hers.” I frown. “You know I don’t trust her sister and I’m not sure about Sinclair.”
“I’ve heard rumors about Carrie Jordan, which is why I think she might be hiding out here. Just keep a close eye on your girl around her.”
Unease settles on my stomach at Garrett’s words. “You know something?”
“Only whispers, and that’s all I’m about to say.” He smiles at his wife and tells her, “Don’t worry.” Leaning in, he kisses her on the forehead.
“I’m heading down there soon to meet them for lunch, so I’ll try and see what’s going on. Brooke is pretty easy to read.”
“Mmm, she is, huh?” Sirena teases and nudges my leg with her foot.
“None of that.” I laugh and Sirena nods her head in her son’s direction.
Elias is awake and watching every move I make while munching on his screwed up fist. “I think this little man is hungry.” I kiss him on the forehead and pass him to his mama.
Sirena heads inside and I watch Garrett watching his wife.
He turns to me and catches my gaze. “I can’t imagine my life without them two in it. They’re everything and I’d give up my hotels and everything I own if I had to to keep them safe.”
“You’re a good man Garrett, and my sister is damn lucky to have found you.”
He grins. “She is, isn’t she?”
I roll my eyes. “So, when is baby number two going to be putting in an appearance?” I joke.
“In about eight months,” he answers without breath.
I whip my head around and stare at the huge grin on his face. “I thought you had to wait before, um, well, before everything was okay?”
“You do know your sister, right? She has a mind of her own and said she knew her own body, so without further details, she’s pregnant…and probably going to be pissed that I’ve told you.” He winces.
“Is she still okay to feed Elias?” I worry.
“According to her OB, as long as her pregnancy is going well, there is no need to stop. She’s more tender, but it’s important to her to feed Elias herself until he’s at least six months old.” He smiles fondly. “As long as she’s well, then I’m okay with that, but she knows if I find out she’s struggling, I’ll want her to stop.”
“That sounds reasonable.”
He laughs. “Maybe to you it does, but Sirena has other ideas.” He smiles. “We’ll see.”
“You have your hands full, and I don’t mean with babies and diapers.” I grin, and shaking his hand, I sneak away before my sister realizes I know about the new baby. No way will I be able to keep my mouth shut without teasing her.
Grinning to myself, I stroll along the quaint streets until I get closer to the beach and the bustle of tourists. The storefronts have everything that attracts visitors and other tourists. From what I can see from the bustle as I walk past toward the beach, it works as well.
Brooke mentioned a tavern, which I head toward and when I finally approach, it’s Sinclair I spot first. He’s sitting on the same lounge chair as Brooke while she subtly tries to move away from him.
That won’t do.
He sees me first and smirks, but Brooke doesn’t see me until she shoves Sinclair off the lounger and moves to stand over him. At least it wiped the smile off the assholes face. Brooke pauses and then returns her glare to the other man. “I don’t know what the hell my sister has said to you, but knock it off.”
Inhaling, she slowly exhales and then wraps herself around me. My hands, having nowhere else to go, land on her round bottom. I squeeze and bring her in closer even if I am getting an erection in the middle of the beach. Who the hell cares?
It doesn’t get missed since Sinclair has a front row seat to wear my hands are currently massaging.
Brooke grins up at me seconds before she whispers, “Nice timing,” as she seals her lips over mine. She wiggles her hips and rubs against me, making me groan into her mo
uth.
“You’re determined to embarrass me, huh?” I growl.
“No.” She brushes her nose over mine. “I’ve missed you and want Sinclair to finally get the message that I’m not interested.” Pinching my ass, she presses against me, a wicked grin on her beautiful face. “Do you like my bikini?”
My mouth waters as she steps out of my arms and twirls in front of me. Her pale pink bikini is held together with ties at her hips and behind her, but it’s her tight nipples that have my attention.
“Something you like?” she teases.
I grab her wrist and haul her back into my arms. “Every inch of you.” I linger with a kiss to her pouting lips. “Help me calm down and then I’ll strip and take you in the water.”
She raises a brow. “Do you want to get naughty in the water, Michael McKenzie?”
“Damn straight I do when I see my girlfriend in next to nothing.” I laugh. “I think you need to be wearing a bit more when others are around.”
She nuzzles into my neck, and mumbles, “I was only brave enough to wear it because I knew you’d see me in it.”
I swallow around the lump in my throat. “Then I’m going to savor you in it.”

No matter how many times Carrie frowns in my direction, the grin on my face won’t disappear at having Michael with me. He makes me happy and I’ve really missed him this morning.
My sister is up to something but I haven’t figured out what. I have a sneaky suspicion it has something to do with Sinclair, but neither of them are giving anything away. It’s annoying but I’ve decided to leave them to it. I’m happy with Michael. I’m hoping, when he isn’t working, I’ll be able to spend all my time with him.
Even after working all morning and the meeting with my father, Michael still has a lot of energy, which thankfully is directed toward me.
