Najla Qambar is my cover designer and all round graphics magician. Thank you so much for putting up with my flood of emails and last minute asks, and for making my imagination come to life.
To Patricia, my long time editor and one of the first friends I ever made in the community, thank you for standing by me and always editing my stuff (even my teasers and excerpts which invariably have spelling mistakes!).
Amber Hodge, you wonderful lifesaver, thank you for taking my very rough draft and turning it into polished gold. I would have quite literally been lost without you and I can’t wait to work with you again.
Every day that I interact with my readers in Giana’s Darlings, I feel so blessed. Thank you to my loyal Darlings for assuaging my doubts, reading my works and sharing your passion with me. You literally keep me sane every single day.
When your family isn’t very supportive of what you do, it can be really hard but I’m so thankful to the entire Indie community for supporting me. For the authors who participated in my Release Party—K.J. Lewis, Carian Cole, Saffron A. Kent, Kristi Beckhart, Shanora Williams, Kathryn Nolan, Lucia Franco, L.D. Dunbar, Lizzie Hart Stevens, Ella Fox, L.J. Shen, K Webster and Charleigh Rose—you ladies motivate me every day to be a better writer and I honestly adore you all! I can’t list all the book bloggers who make my day with their reviews and teasers but special thanks goes out to Liv Nina, Stacey L. Atwin, Kcee Bomer, Aurora Hale, Nan Ruffo, Maria Rosiesbook Heaven Poli, Krystel Allen, and the ladies at The Fab Readers. Thank you as well to my burgeoning author friends Olive Teagan, A.R. Hadley, and Lee Piper for always supporting me.
It wouldn’t be an acknowledgments page without mention of my person, Belle, the woman who dared to move to Paris with me in pursuit of our dreams, who has supported me through my very short but tumultuous adult life thus far. Wouldn’t be happy without my baby alligator, wouldn’t be me, at all.
My boys, the seven mid-twenty something year old men who I surround myself with on a nearly daily basis, thank you for teaching me about how beautiful men can be. You are my inspiration and my attestation that dream men really do exist.
Finally, to my ultimate boy; the love of my life and my best friend. I know you think every hero is based on you and you’ll be happy when you read this to see that, in a way, I agree with you. Because every word of love I’ve ever written was inspired by you; all of King’s apple poems, all of Sinclair’s epic speeches. I become my truest self with you just as Cressida does with King and Giselle does with Sinclair. You’re the only man I’ve ever loved and I hope, from the depths of my soul, that one day we will get a happy ending to rival any that I might write.
