“Holy fuck,” she wheezed as she ran a hand through her thin blond hair. “They told me you were good, but damn.”

“Well, you’re welcome to that whenever you need it,” I chuckled.

“Noted,” she said with a nod. She then let out a long breath, smiled, and shook her head. “I have never been fucked like that. I didn’t even know it could feel that good.”

“Well, I hold myself to a high standard in everything I do,” I said. “Sex is no exception.”

“Clearly,” she said with a laugh. She rolled over and wrapped her arms around me, and we laid there together for a while. A chill crept over us as our bodies cooled and our sweat started to dry off. I pulled a blanket up over us as Bailey shivered.

“I know that probably didn’t make you feel any safer, but damn was it fun,” I said.

“Yeah, you really did make it worth the wait,” she said with a grin. Though the grin faded after only a moment, and she shifted to look at me. “I’m not the only one who has been nervous lately. None of the others wanted to say anything, but ever since you got back from your raid the gang has been on edge.”

“I’m sorry to hear that,” I said with a frown.

“It’s not your fault,” Bailey said quickly. “That’s why they didn’t tell you. No one wanted you to think that you had done something to make them feel this way.”

“No, I get it.” I said. “What if I slept closer to you guys?”

“You are already right down the hall,” Bailey said.

“Right, but we are all comfortable with each other so why should I stay here alone?” I asked.

“I mean, I am sure the girls would feel better with you being there,” Bailey said.

“Alright, then it’s settled,” I said as I stood up. I pulled on a clean pair of underwear, grabbed my bedding, and headed for the door. “From now on, I'll stay out in the common area with the rest of you.”

“I like that plan,” Bailey said with a grin as she shifted to the edge of the bed. “You go let the others know while I get dressed again.”

“Yeah, you might want to clean yourself up,” I teased as I nodded down to where a bunch of my cream dribbled out of her pussy.

“And whose fault do you think that is?” she laughed. “Damn. You came a bunch inside of me.”

“Is that okay?” I asked again, even though I knew it was a bit too late now.

“Yeah,” Bailey sighed. “It feels great. Don’t worry, I won’t get pregnant. Go set up your bed. I’ll get cleaned up.”

I grinned, winked, and slipped out into the hall. All the girls appeared to be asleep when I arrived in the common room, so I picked a place in between them all, set down my stuff, and got settled in for the night. I could inform them of this change in the morning, so I closed my eyes and tried to drift off to sleep with all my girls around me.

  Chapter 5

I awoke the next morning to the sound of people shifting around me. As I cracked one eye open, I realized Bailey was asleep on my chest, and the other girls had shifted to nestle in around me. It was nice to see that they were still comfortable enough to sleep despite the coming attack. I wanted them to take this seriously, but I wanted to shoulder most of the burden of worry. Being a leader often meant that you couldn’t tell everyone your true concerns.

“Good morning,” Anna whispered from where she lay beside me. “To what do we own the pleasure of your company?”

“I think I am going to sleep out here for now on,” I said.

“Oh?” She raised an eyebrow. “What, was one of us a night not enough company?”

“Not quite like that,” I chuckled quietly. “With everything going on I thought it might be safer if we all stuck together.”

“Cool,” Anna said with a smile. “I like the sound of that.”

I grinned at her and pushed myself upright as Bailey’s head slid into my lap. This was actually a really good idea. There was safety in numbers and there was little reason to split up when we slept. I had thought about this many times, but I did not want to bring it up. I knew that, when they were ready, the girls would say something that would lead naturally into this idea.

Tara shifted, yawned, and rolled into me. Then she wrapped her slender arms around my chest.

“Looks like you aren’t the only one who thinks that,” I whispered.

  “I’m not surprised,” Anna said.

“Now the issue is getting up without waking the others,” I joked before I gently moved Bailey, and tried to pull Tara’s arms away from me without waking her.

“I can’t help you there,” Anna said after she let out a large yawn. “I’m gonna go for a run though. Have fun and see you later.” She then got up, pulled a clean pair of green leggings on over her lacy black panties, put on a black tank top, grabbed her running shoes, and headed downstairs.

“Man, her ass looks good in leggings,” I muttered.

“No kidding,” one of the girls said.

I turned to see Paige, dressed in a loose white nightshirt, let out a large yawn and twirl her hair up into her usual messy bun. She pulled on her glasses and gave me a small wave. “It’s nice to see you out here with us.”

“I thought it was time for a change,” I said.

“It’s a welcome one,” the brunette said.

“Makes getting up a little more complicated though,” I chuckled.

“Stay here,” Tara groaned as she tried to wrap her arms around me again.

“I have to get up,” I insisted.

“Awwww,” the platinum blonde pouted. “You’re so comfy though.”

I laughed, gently pushed her off, and stood up.

Bailey groaned, rolled over, but didn’t wake up.

“I expect to see you guys in the library before too long,” I said as I shook my head and smiled. “We have a lot that we need to do.”

I returned to my dorm, pulled on jeans and a green flannel, and then headed downstairs and towards the library.

By the time anyone arrived I had a freshly brewed pot of coffee prepared in a blue enamel coffee pot. I left the small propane stove on just enough to keep it warm until company arrived, but I did not wait for the others before I poured myself a cup.

I sat on the table and stared at the plans I had written out on the whiteboard. After our trip yesterday I had come up with a solid defensive plan that started at the bridge. We had enough space that we could set up multiple attack points where we could pick off some bikers before falling back to more defensible positions. Our campus was by far the most easily defensible spot, but if we could stop them before they got here then we mitigate the amount of damage that was done to our property and our land.

The door to the library clicked open, and I turned to see Anna and Rolly walk in.

“How was your run?” I asked the redhead.

“Good, another nice day for it,” she said as she took a seat at the table.

I nodded and poured a cup of coffee for her and Rolly and passed them around the table. “How bout you Rolly, how was your morning?”

“Good, I got up a bit early, checked on the smoker, and did a little reading. Like Anna said, it’s another nice day out there.”

“You’ve been busy too,” Anna said as she nodded towards the whiteboard.

“With our big trip outta the way I wanted to turn my attention to my defensive plan.

“It’s a nice map at least,” Rolly said.

I chuckled and studied the rough sketch I had blocked out in blue marker. It was messy, and it had lots of arrows pointing out possible defensive options in various places.

“Your handwriting isn’t bad, but you’re going to explain what all that manic marker scribbling means, right?” Anna asked with a smirk.

“Don’t worry, I’ll walk you through it,” I said with a smile.

The doors opened again, and the other three members of our group entered the library. Paige was dressed in her usual outfit of jeans and a T-shirt, Bailey was in a similar outfit,
but Tara had changed it up today. She wore a short black skirt, blue blouse, and thigh high socks stuck out of her black flats.

“Good timing,” I said as the three each took a seat at the table.

Rolly leaned over, grabbed the coffee pot, and started to pour a fresh cup for the newcomers.

“So, what’s this then?” Tara asked as she took the coffee and motioned to the whiteboard.

“Plans,” I stated. “First though, I want to get our daily assignments out of the way. Going over my defensive strategy with you could take a while, and I do not want to forget to give you all your tasks. Anna and Bailey are on trap, trot line, and bathing duty. Meanwhile I want Tara and Paige to stay here and look for books on water purification.”

“Easy,” Anna said as she leaned back in her chair. “Any set afternoon plans?”

“Yes, once you and Bailey get back we will get together, shoot for an hour, and then work on our first shower.”

Tara let out a shrill squeak of excitement.

Everyone turned to stare at her with an amused look.

“Sorry,” the platinum blonde said as she went bright red. “I just got a little excited.”

  “You don’t say?” Paige teased.

“Let’s stay on topic here,” I said with a grin. “We have a lot to cover this morning.” I turned back to the whiteboard and pulled out my marker. “So this is the plan I had so far. Using the bridge, the town, and the campus we will set up a three tiered defensive strategy.” I poked my marker at each of those locations where they were drawn on the whiteboard for emphasis. “Each of these has different advantages, plenty of cover, and clear escape routes.”

I moved back to the table and spread out a topographical map of our immediate area. I circled the bridge with the marker. “It all starts here. Yesterday when we stopped, I sized it up and decided it was a perfect first line of defense. We will take some of the cars around the bridge and move them to block the sides. That will create a bottleneck and force our enemies to move in small numbers through a narrow space.”

“We will put our first spike strip up there too, right?” Paige asked as she leaned over the map.

“Yeah,” I said with a nod as I turned back to the whiteboard. I had a larger, crude, view of the bridge drawn out on it. The cars on the bridge were simple boxes, but I had a spot for the spike strip clearly marked with a line with Xs crossed through it. “The spike strip will be set up here, right in front of the car funnel.” I pointed to my mark. “That won’t be the only trap we use though. We pulled lots of those small propane tanks from the houses on our last trip to Lanceton, and a couple of those set up with nails and shrapnel around them would make for a nasty bomb.”

“Are those the little circles with a B inside of them?” Anna asked as she pointed to the whiteboard.

“Yeah, those are where I am thinking, but that could change as we actually get stuff set up on the bridge.”

“How are we going to trigger these explosives?” Rolly asked.

“Good question,” Paige said. “What sort of thing will even make these propane tanks explode?”

“We will have to shoot it to trigger it,” I said. “Though not just any bullet will work. The stuff we are carrying will just punch holes in the metal causing explosive decompression, but not a true explosion. For that we will need fire to actually ignite the propane as it escapes the canister.”

“So is there some magic way to light our bullets on fire then?” Anna joked.

“Actually, there kind of is,” I said. “I have a couple boxes of 5.56 tracer rounds. Those are going to be our best bet. I’ll have one box, and Bailey can have the other.”

  “Why me?” Bailey asked

“You are obviously a better shot than the rest of us,” Paige pointed out.

“No way that’s true,” the hippie replied.

“She’s right,” I said. “You have proven several times already that you have a knack for shooting straight. You even did well with those wolves, so you’ll be fine to hit a stationary target when the bikers come.”

“Oh, alright then, if you say so,” Bailey said, but I could tell she didn’t have total confidence in herself yet.

“Would it be a good call to have a backup source of fire if the tracer rounds don’t work?” Tara asked as she studied my drawing.

“What did you have in mind?” I asked.

“I dunno, what about molotovs or something?” the blonde model asked with a shrug. “Or are they another thing that doesn’t work like they do in the movies?”

“Oh they work,” I assured her. “That’s a really good idea too. We have enough spare gasoline to make some throwing weapons out of it and lighting the end of the bridge on fire would act as another deterrent.”

“Nice idea,” Anna said as she nudged Tara.

“Thanks, it seems I have those sometime,” she replied.

“So where will we be while all of this shit is happening on the bridge?” Paige asked.

“We will be in the trees on either side of the road,” I explained, “We will build little shooting spots in the trees to give us increased cover and stability. We will need to scout out the area to find the best spots, but we will try to build them a little higher for high ground advantage and increased line of sight.”

“So then we will be hidden in the trees shooting at the guys as they get across?” Anna asked.

“Yeah, all of the complicated stuff comes in the preparation,” I said. “We have to assume that the bikers will break through the bridge eventually though, and that is where my escape route comes in.” I returned to the topographical map and traced my finger along a path I had drawn in black ink.

“Why not just take the road?”

“That was my plan at first, but after studying this local map I realized that if we cut through the forest, we can not only save time, but we won’t be getting shot at the entire journey either.”

“I really like that last part,” Tara said.

“I thought you might,” I said with a wink.

“So we take this path and end up in the town,” Paige muttered as she traced my inked path with her finger. She looked up at me and grinned. “So what are our plans for the town then?”

“In town our most valuable resource will be the houses,” I said. “They will provide us ample places to hide in, take cover, and shoot from, but right now the bikers could just roll up the road and head for the campus. There are enough cars in town for us to set up a nice blockade, and I think we could actually turn the couple blocks of housing into a small maze of traps and shooting spots.”

“Oh yeah, if these guys stick to their bikes we can really control their path up to the campus,” Anna said with a nod.

“What kind of traps are we thinking of setting up in town?” Rolly asked.

“We will use our second spike strip as a last little speedbump before they can make their way up the hill,” I said. “We will use debris and stuff to hide this one as well. Though in our death maze I am thinking of doing a few more bombs and fire traps.”

“We could string up some tripwires between the houses,” Anna suggested.

“Yeah, if we could find something thin enough we could put them up high enough to catch the guys in the chest and rip them off their bikes,” I said.

“That would be brutal,” Paige said with a grin.

“A lot of what we do in town will be a repeat of the bridge,” I said. “We will set up spots for us to shoot from when we get back to town and then run once they start to push through our defenses.”

“Is the second black line that connects the town to the campus our route?” Bailey asked.

“Yeah, the bikers don’t know the forest like we do, so following us that way to the campus would be a bad idea for them,” I said. “The more we stay in the forest the safer we are, and the faster we can move.”

“So the campus is our castle then?” Tara asked. “Like our final line in the sand?”

  “Pretty muc
h,” I said. “Though with our plan there shouldn’t be many people left by this point. We will have fewer traps up here at the campus, but we have this nice wide courtyard to use as a shooting gallery. We will build sniper nests in the woods for me, Bailey, and Anna. Rolly, Paige, and Tara will be set up in scattered spots in the three buildings. That will let us trap whoever is left in a massive crossfire making it hard for any of them to take cover.”

“Awesome, this sounds pretty simple,” Bailey said.

“Mechanically everything is simple,” I said. “Though we have lots of work to do to make sure that everything goes in our favor. We will setup our defense points and run drills to ensure that we can move from one spot to the next with speed. We also need to practice shooting more.”

“Sounds like we have some long days ahead of us,” Paige said.

“At least we will have a hot shower to help us unwind,” Tara said with a grin.

“We have to get it built first,” I reminded her.

“Yeah, yeah, I know,” she said as she rolled her eyes at me. “But we are going to do that today.”

“Once we get the important stuff done first, then yeah,” I said with a nod. “So does anyone have any questions about our plan?”

“I don’t think so,” Paige said. “At least not right now. I’m going to be spending a while in here though so I might think of something while I stare at your plan throughout the day.”

“Let me know, but keep your focus on what I asked you to research,” I said. “Getting a purification system up and running would help us a lot.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll keep her on task,” Tara teased.

“Right,” Paige scoffed. “I’ll believe that when I see it.”

“Alright,” I interjected. “If everyone is good here, I think we should get to work.”

“What do you want me to do?” Rolly asked as he swirled the last bit of coffee around the bottom of his cup. “Don’t want to be useless.”

“No, of course not,” I said. “You’ll help me unload what we got yesterday, and I’ll show you in person what sort of defenses I am thinking of setting up here, and in town. Whenever you find yourself with some spare time if you want to work on those defenses it would be appreciated.”
