Braden: #5 (Kelly Clan) Page 7

As much as he liked the way she looked in them, he didn’t know how much longer he’d be able to torture himself. He unhooked the bra in the front and had to bite back a moan as her breasts spilled out. He needed to be in her, and soon.

When he reached for her panties, he could feel her breath hitch. Braden looked up to where she watched him.

“I want to see you,” he whispered. “I want to make you feel good, baby.”

  Teagan nodded.

He slid the panties down her legs and tossed them with the other clothes on the couch.

Braden swallowed hard as he stared down at her naked form. Her pert pink nipples were pointed and hard, begging to be licked and kissed. Perfect. Everything he’d imagined and wanted.

He leaned down and grasped her breast, squeezing it as he placed her nipple in his mouth. His teeth grazed gently over the hard nub, and then he flicked it with his tongue. Braden let go of her breast and did the same to the other, eagerly pleasing her while his ready cock throbbed.

“Braden,” she whispered. Her eyes closed as she arched her back.

He let her breast fall from his hands and kissed his way down her body, running his tongue over the soft skin there. He stopped just above the soft brown curls that lay nestled below.

Braden looked up her body and found her eyes on him. Her cheeks were pink from his position. A thought passed through his mind, and he grinned.

  “Have you masturbated?” he asked.

The blush only grew, but she nodded.

  “Show me.”

She opened her mouth in surprise.

“Baby, show me how you like to be touched,” he demanded, his voice almost a growl.

Teagan shut her mouth and nodded. Her hand slowly made its way between her legs. He watched as her finger slipped between the folds, pressing against her clit as she did so.

Braden wrapped his arms under her legs and lifted them onto his shoulders.

“What the hell are you doing?” she said in a panic.

  “Keep rubbing.”

Braden pressed his mouth against her center before she had a chance to think about what he was going to do. His tongue swiped along her opening and then between her fingers.

Teagan moaned loudly and rubbed faster against her clit. He could taste her sweet juices flowing freely the more she worked her clit. Braden speared his tongue inside her and pressed in, carefully listening for any discomfort. Teagan only moaned more and moved her hips as he worked in and out of her.

After a bit, he pulled his tongue out and slowly pressed a finger deep inside her. He was slow with his work but watched as her hand moved even faster over her clit. It wouldn’t be long before she came.

Needing to make sure she was open enough for him, Braden pressed in a second finger. As he did so, her insides clamped down on him. Teagan shivered as her climax took over, and she came hard with a shudder.

He slid his fingers out and laid her back down on the ground.

She smiled at him, her expression distant and sleepy.

For a moment, he wondered if he should just stop there. She’d already come and there was no need to rush things. His throbbing cock didn’t want to stop, but he wanted to put her pleasure above his.

“I want you,” she whispered, as if she could read the turmoil that was going on inside him. “I want to feel you inside me.”

Eager, Braden stood and unzipped his pants. He pulled off both his jeans and underwear, then tossed them onto the couch. He’d dreamed of this, and now the dream would come true.

She watched him as he stood over her. His thick member loomed as large as she had thought it was before.

Teagan swallowed as Braden came and kneeled between her legs again.

He leaned over her, their bodies rubbing against one another. His mouth met hers for a soft kiss, and then he pulled away abruptly and cursed.

  Teagan frowned. “What?”

“I didn’t bring anything,” he said and placed his forehead against hers. “Protection, I mean. I wasn’t planning for this to happen.”

“I’m on the pill,” she said softly. “The doctor insisted since I can’t risk getting pregnant right now.”

Secretly, she thanked the doctor’s persistence over the issue, even though she’d not thought she’d be having sex anytime soon.

“Are you sure it’s okay?” he said. “You don’t know anything about—”

Teagan frowned. “I know enough, and I know you aren’t an idiot. You wouldn’t put me at risk.”

He nodded and settled back over her. His hard length nestled between her slick folds.

Braden shifted, sliding his length against her, letting her clit bump against him. He grunted once.

She brought her hands to his back and raked her nails lightly along the skin there.

He grunted again and moved a little harder against her, sliding his length the whole of the way.

  “Christ,” he mumbled.

This time when he pulled back, Teagan could feel the blunt head just outside her opening. Braden looked her in the eyes as he slipped inside her.

It was tight. She could feel her inner muscles move to make room. There wasn’t all the pain she’d heard about from other women she knew. Although she was quite a bit older than them, and it wasn’t like she hadn’t taken care of things herself down there. More than anything she just felt very full.

He pressed in all the way, and when he did, she moaned a little at the feeling.

“Am I hurting you?” he said.

She shook her head. There was no way to put her feelings into words, but she knew one thing, she didn’t want it to end. “More.”

Teagan shifted her hips. His coarse hair grinded against her sensitive clit. She could feel the muscles inside quiver around him.

“Shit,” he grunted. “Baby, if you’re going to do that, I’m not going to last long if I can’t move.”

Teagan reached down and grabbed ahold of his ass. She pressed hard against him and moved her hips. Her insides again shivered.

“Fuck, baby,” he panted. “This is the best torture I’ve ever had.”

This time she laughed at him and turned her head until her mouth was on his ear. Teagan nibbled on the earlobe there. “Show me what you can do.”

As if he’d been given the green light at the races, Braden moved his hips against her. This new sensation was something she hadn’t expected, the way his hips hit her clit in just the right way. It made her shiver with each thrust.

She moved with him now as he fucked her, her body moving of its own accord, pushing herself even closer to the edge she had been teetering at before.

Braden sat up over her, pulling her hips to his center. She watched his thick muscles as he slapped his hips into her. Sweat pooled down his chest and dripped onto her.

She reached down and rubbed her clit as he hammered into her. His eyes fixed on where they were joined.

Teagan pressed hard against her hard nub and shivered as she came hard around him, squeezing him as she did.

Only moments later, she could feel him grow inside her. Braden slammed in one last time before he pumped deep inside her, his hot seed filling her.

Braden pulled out and collapsed in a sweaty mess beside her. Instantly, he pulled her body next to his and spooned around her.

Teagan shivered and sighed as her insides continued to ride out the lasts of her climax. She felt his soft kiss against her shoulder.

“I knew we would fit perfectly together,” he sighed. “Finn said it would work out.”

Finn? Why would Finn be talking with a man working for Ennis? She opened her mouth to say something but decided that now wasn’t the time. She wasn’t sure what the hell was going on, but she did know Braden wasn’t being totally upfront about things.

  Chapter Fourteen

Teagan opened her eyes and found herself snuggled under warm blankets. She hadn’t remembered getting into bed last night, but Braden must have placed her in there at some point.r />
The sex had been fantastic, but even more exhausting than fleeing from Russian gangsters in the hospital parking garage. This was one bit of soreness, though, she’d gladly suffer again for.

She sat up and let the covers fall off her. The cold morning air had chilled the room, and in her state of undress, the frigid temperature nipped at her even more.

She quickly climbed out of the bed and was surprised to find a pair of jeans and sweater sitting on the chair in the room with a stack of other clothing. She smiled to herself.

Braden must have gone to get some clothing before she got up. She wondered how long she’d been sleeping and was surprised he could get out of bed and head all the way to a store and back without waking her up.

She wrapped a robe hanging on the back of the door around her and took the clothing to the bathroom. The smell of his soap still clung to the air, comforting her.

Teagan smiled as she shut the door and turned on the shower. Her body remained sore from yesterday, but she hadn’t been happier in a long time. Despite the danger from the Russians, she’d still been finally able to move on with an important part of her life.

She would have never guessed that making love would be so amazing. It wasn’t as if she hadn’t gotten herself off before, but it was never like that. Not even close. Her previous orgasms paled in comparison, and she felt a faint stab of annoyance over what she’d been missing for years.

The hot spray from the shower eased her muscles and took the chill of the morning off. She inhaled deeply and let out a contented sigh. She tried to let all the worries about the days before fade and just let her mind wander.

Over and over, she kept coming back to what Braden had last said about Finn. It seemed like such an odd thing to say, especially for someone who didn’t even stay by Finn’s side when he needed him most.

How could he work for a man who’d ally with men who’d try and kill a woman who had done nothing to them?

As she washed her hair, she wondered if Braden regretted his decision. Maybe he wanted back in the family and just didn’t know how to go about that. Helping her, besides doing it because of his obvious attraction, would be a good way to prove his loyalty to Finn.

Although some time had passed, she was sure Conor would help her convince Finn to let Braden back into the family. He might be angry at first, being her big brother and all, but he’d have to see reason.

Teagan was crazy for Braden, and having him as part of the family made their relationship far less complicated. All she needed to do now was talk to him and let him know she would do everything in her power to help him.

She finished her washing and climbed out. She patted her hair as dry as she could and dressed. This time she put on a purple set of panties and bra to match the deep purple sweater he’d picked out.

She made her way through the cabin but stopped when a noise outside caught her ear. Teagan peeked out the front window and was surprised to see Braden chopping wood in the newly fallen snow.

She regretted it was cold and imagined what it’d be like to see him shirtless, glistening in the sun, his muscles working as he chopped wood.

A pair of boots and socks lay by the door. She picked them up and smiled. Although she was the designer, Braden certainly had good taste when it came to what she wore. She was a bit surprised, as he didn’t seem the type.

As she put on the shoes, Teagan looked around for a coat to put on. She sighed when she realized she’d have to wear the red coat with the stain.

After grabbing the coat, Teagan stepped out into the cold morning.

Braden paused his chopping to watch her step outside of the cabin. The pants fit her like a glove, only reminding him just how amazing her body was. He hardened at the memory of exploring her the night before.

She smiled warmly at him, and he winced on the inside. He didn’t deserve that smile. A piece of shit like him didn’t deserve anything like that at all. If he had any real balls, he would have gunned down Stefano and Boris, even if it cost him his own life.

Now, he had to sacrifice his happiness so hers could be assured. At least he could be a man that way.

“Wow, I can’t believe it snowed last night,” she said and stepped over to where he was.

Braden grunted and slammed the axe down on a log. He could see the smile on her face falter for a moment, but still she held on.

“Thanks for getting some clothes for me,” she said softly.

He grunted again. “Just doing my job.”

This time the smile fell completely as she stepped over to where he stood. “What’s that supposed to mean?” She narrowed her eyes.

Braden tossed the logs on the pile he’d made on the ground before turning to her.

“I need to be honest. Last night was a mistake.”

Teagan stood in front of him, her eyes wide and her mouth parted in shock. It killed him to see her that way, but it was the only way to keep her safe. He had no way of knowing just how long things were going to go on like they were.

Even if Finn wanted him to get out, Braden wasn’t sure if he could. He couldn’t make her wait for a man who was probably just going to end up getting shot in the head.

If staying in with Ennis meant keeping her safe from Boris, then that’s exactly what he’d do.

She shook her head. “Is this about Finn?”

He froze. “What do you know about Finn?”

She stepped over beside him and placed her hand on his arm.

“I know that even after a year apart you care about his opinion. That he said we would work out.”

Shit. This only proved his point. Staying with her was only going to put her in more danger. If Boris got wind that she might know something, he’d not just kill her, he’d torture her for information. Who knew what else he’d leak when he wasn’t paying attention?

Still, when he was with Teagan, everything just seemed right, like both of his lives had finally smashed into one life, and they fit exactly there. It killed him to push that away, even if he knew it was for the best.

“Look, I’m not the kind of man you should be with. I do bad things for a living, and I’m good at my job. That alone should scare the shit out of you.”

Teagan shook her head and stepped closer. He could see that her hair was still wet, and steam came off it in the cold.

“There’s nothing about you that could ever scare me.”

Braden gave a harsh laugh and turned away. He knelt down to gather the wood.

“I’ve killed men. The one outside the office wasn’t the first, and he sure as hell wasn’t the last,” he said and glanced over to her. “This is my job, Teagan. This is who I am.”

He stood up to stare down at her but was surprised to find anger instead of fear.

“I’m not the one afraid, you are,” she said and pursed her lips together.

He frowned. “I’m afraid?” He barked out a laugh. “How do you figure?”

“You’re afraid to let yourself have anything because you don’t think you deserve it.”

  “I don’t!” he shouted.

The two stared at one another, breathing hard as they did so.

“I’m not giving up,” she said softly and moved into him. “And I’m not letting you give up either.”

Braden cursed himself. As much as he knew he should step away, he just couldn’t. He wanted to believe that what they had was worth fighting for.

The sound of tires crunching twigs broke the silence, and Braden frowned as a slick black limo pulled down the lane.

“Is it the Russians?” she whispered, her eyes now wide.

“Worse,” Braden said and frowned. “Ennis.”

  Chapter Fifteen

Not certain what to do, Teagan stepped closer to Braden. She knew that Ennis had continued to help her receive treatment, but all the flowers he kept sending creeped her out. Plus, in the end, he was allied with the same men who had kept coming after her.

She bit her lip and looked over at Brad
en. Maybe she’d been wrong about him. Maybe he’d intended to turn her over the entire time.

The thought hurt, and she couldn’t bring herself to believe it. Yes, he’d been cold, but it made no sense to keep helping her if he just wanted to turn her over, and the truth was he’d killed a man to save her before. His concern had to be genuine, or so she hoped.

That still didn’t answer the question of why Ennis was coming.

“I thought it wasn’t safe for anyone to come out,” she said, doing the best to keep the panic out of her voice.

Braden scowled at the car. “It’s not. The idiot. He knows that.”

She glanced between Braden and Ennis. Did Ennis know she was there? So much of this wasn’t making sense between Braden’s comments about Finn and now Ennis.

Ennis stepped out of the limo when it had stopped and made his way to where they stood, a smile plastered on his face.

“I thought it might be a good idea to drop by with some of her things,” Ennis said to Braden but stared at her as he spoke. “After all, she may end up having to stay out here a while.”

She could see the tension in Braden’s shoulders as his boss spoke.

“I also thought we’d decided it would be too dangerous,” Braden said.

Teagan kept herself from gasping. So Ennis did know. What the heck was going on?

“I know what’s at stake.” Ennis waved a hand. “And I was careful,” he said and turned his full attention back to her. “How are you, Teagan? It’s been too long.”

She glanced over to Braden who nodded that she should answer. As much as Ennis creeped her out, at the moment, he held her safety in his hands. She wasn’t brave enough to antagonize him.

  “I’m well,” she said stiffly.

Ennis frowned and stepped over to where she stood by Braden.

She stood as still as a statue as he lifted a strand of her still wet hair and then turned to glare at Braden.

“You let her outside with wet hair?” he scowled. “Are you an idiot?”

“I don’t let her do anything.” Braden shrugged. “She’s an adult and can make her own choices.”
