  A Note on Sources

This book is a work of nonfiction. I have made every effort to verify all facts through articles, books, and interviews, nearly all of which are listed on the following pages. In select cases, when a source requested anonymity, I granted it—typically because the source still worked in the television industry and feared retribution.

Whenever possible, I met sources in person. If this was not an option, I completed interviews via telephone or video call. The only interview conducted via email was with Allison Williams.

I reached out to every Bachelor or Bachelorette who ever appeared on the show via email to request interviews. I found contact information via LexisNexis and public records. If no contact information was available for an individual, I searched for the information of the individual’s publicity or management representative.
