“Yes, oh yes!”
He looked into Kathleen’s smiling face. “And you. Are you all right?”
“Yes, Pa-pa. I am now.” She kissed him.
Beth kissed him even longer, covering his mouth and cheeks with wet kisses and hot tears. Richard was alive and her life hadn’t ended.
