Daddy's Sweetheart Parts 1-5: The Complete Collection Page 35

by Rachel Burns

Was this a new side of him? He’d been nice about everything that had happened lately. He wasn’t letting me play him for a fool, but he was being very – I was unsure which word to use to describe him.

I didn’t know how to put it, but he’d spanked me twice and whipped me in the last twenty-four hours, and I didn’t even think about running away from him. I could have just walked out the door of his office, and he’d have been none the wiser until he came out.

  I felt safe with him.

This realization brought me up short. I scolded myself, reminding myself of the time that he’d just watched me crying in pain and then left.

But that was so long ago, a little voice in the back of my head said.

Things had changed a lot since then. Now I believed him when he said that he loved me. I hadn’t back then.

Did he believe me when I told him that I loved him? I hoped he did.

Chapter 5 – Daddy Knows Best

Brian had a grin on his face that just wouldn’t fade. People were constantly commenting on it.

He smiled all the more and told them that he’d recently married.

He wanted to shout out to the world how happy he was. Amelia was the best thing that had ever happened to him.

He hurried home after work every evening. In the mornings, he felt a pang when he had to leave her. Not because he was worried that she’d leave, but because he’d miss her.

Brian believed that she was happy with him, too. She beamed at him when he walked into the dining room every evening.

He felt like they were magnets that fit perfectly together. They separated every weekday, but the pull to get back together was so strong that it wasn’t satisfied until he buried himself deep inside of her.

  They made love a lot.

Some people warned him that was just because they were newlyweds.

Brian knew that their love was something special. They were just so perfectly matched. This wasn’t like what the others had gone through. They wouldn’t be getting a divorce down the road. They had a marriage based on honesty and lots of trust.

It was really just like the one his nurse had talked about. They were happy even directly after a spanking.

  His Amelia trusted him.

Brian felt that he’d earned that trust. He had made mistakes in the past, but he’d learned from them. Amelia had forgiven him, and, he was sure, forgotten.

They were able to move on. Not like lots of couples today who couldn’t get over things, thus divorcing. Amelia had a good heart, and she wanted their marriage to work, too.

She was also very respectful of him, and she listened to him without discussing anything.

His word was the law, and she knew it. There were no power games that could wear couples down. They didn’t waste time with little things like that.

Brian loved his diamond that he’d found in the rough.

Things were going really well at home. School was also moving along nicely.

I liked everything but that last hour of the day. That was when I had either Art, or the worse of the two, music.

Nanny had yet to find a piano teacher for me. Daddy was upset about that, but he’d also made it clear that it had to be a woman.

There were two reasons why I hated the class teaching the thing I loved the most. The first was because I was in with all the dumb girls, who hated me because I wasn’t dumb. The second was because I couldn’t really sing in choir practice.

I could sing, but not the way that felt right to me.

One day after lunch, we were allowed outside for what promised to be the last time this year. The weather forecast was predicting a snowstorm to start the season off, but we were having a really nice day yet. It was the peace that comes before the storm.

We were all outside and talking, most of us sitting on the benches out in the garden. Missy, the girl who the teacher thought could sing the best was singing a song on the other bench. It was a really hard piece, but a really good song.

  Missy was slaughtering it.

I wanted to walk over and pinch her nose shut so she couldn’t sing through it anymore.

This was one of the odd things about me. I couldn’t stand a bad singer. Nails on the chalkboard didn’t bother me in the least, but this was driving me nuts. I even felt really nervous.

She finished the song, and I started to relax. Then just when I could concentrate on what my friends were talking about she started in again.

“Excuse me, Missy. Could you please stop?” I turned back to my very surprised friends. They were all smirking. They hadn’t expected it from me.

Missy hadn’t either. She marched over to me and planted her feet on the ground and stared me down. Missy’s daddy preferred pigtails with green ribbons to match our ties. She was fuming, and her pigtails were rotating. She had her hands on her hips.

Missy resembled a bull about to charge. Just the nose ring was missing.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to offend you.” That was so like me. I was surprised that I hadn’t turned tail and ran.

“Well, I’m offended. Being hushed by someone like you is so offensive.”

“Someone like me?” I pointed to myself.

“You really can’t sing at all. so you aren’t in a position to judge others.”

I felt a mean streak building in me. “I of course wasn’t trying to judge you. In fact, I think you have a very nice voice. I just think that singer is out of your league. Another song would be better suited to your beautiful voice.”

The other girls were all smiling now, except for Rose who was just staring at me. I think she felt like she was my bodyguard.

“Well, she’s closer to my league than she’s to yours.” She smiled at me in a superior way.

  I shook my head.

“Do you think you can do it better than me?”

I nodded. “And I’d sing the right text, too.” I looked at Rose who looked really mad at me. I shrugged my shoulders.

“Fine, stand up and let us hear it.” She backed away like we were about to fight.

I stood across from her like this was a shoot out. My friends all stood behind me, and her friends stood behind her. Other girls had also gathered.

I couldn’t believe that this was happening. If a teacher saw this, she’d think the worst. I wasn’t in a hurry to feel Daddy’s horse whip any time soon.

“Sing, Amelia, if you can do it so well, better than me.” She was so cocky and sure of herself.

“No, you go first.” I made a stance like I was waiting. After her, anything would sound good. I felt Rose right at my back, as always.

Missy sang, and she sang like she meant ever word. She really believed that she could sing. She even looked happy as she sang. I was really just being mean. After she sang, she smirked at me.

“You’re right. You win. I can’t compete with that.” I turned to look at Rose who looked confused.

“Can you sing or not?” Rose asked me.

  I nodded.

She turned me around so I could see Missy sticking her tongue out at me. “We try to keep them in their place.” She gave me a little shove.

“Fine, I’ll give it a try.” I took a deep breath and sang softly, as the song required, and then I built up where you should and sang like I always had when I was little girl out alone in my father’s garden.

The girls around me were all clapping. I sang on until I noticed that a lot of the other girls were taking off.

I wanted to join them, but the music teacher and the headmistress where standing there looking at Missy and me.

Oh damn, I thought. I wasn’t sure which rule I’d broken, but I was pretty sure that I’d broken one from the looks on their faces.

“If you two ladies will please follow me to my classroom,” the music teacher said.

We both did. The headmistress followed us in, too. All the other girls hurried in for afternoon classes. I scolded myself on the way in. How did I get into this s
ituation?

The music teacher started right in writing a letter for each of us. I took mine and said thank you. Missy looked horrified.

“Young ladies, in case you two haven’t noticed this is a school for better little girls from better homes, and not a club in downtown New York.” The headmistress started in. “We believe there is a time and place for such songs, but certainly not here, and not now. Modern music must be approved by Mrs. Robins and by myself. Have I made myself clear.”

“Yes ma’am,” I quickly spitted out. Missy who was still mad about losing just fumed. She even rolled her eyes. The headmistress grabbed her by her ear and took off with her. She closed the door behind them as they left. I looked back at Mrs. Robins.

“Amelia, I want you to sing the song we sang yesterday at choir practice and to sing it as well as you can. If you hold back on me again, I’ll punish you.”

  “Yes, ma’am.”

My music teacher played the piano, and I sang my heart out, hoping to avoid punishment. She kept me there all afternoon working on songs for Christmas. She looked very pleased with me. When it was time for choir practice, the other girls came in and from the look on their faces they’d been able to hear me in their classrooms. I felt really happy as I sang.

After school, I hurried to my classroom, grabbed my bag, shoved the letter in it and hurried out to Nanny.

Rose was waiting for me. “So tell me what can’t you do?”

I blushed at her as we walked out of the door together.

I saw Nanny who smiled back at Rose and me. As we were getting into the car, Nanny told me that she’d arranged a play date with Rose’s nanny.

Rose had expressed an interest to teach me how to paint.

I was surprised because Nanny didn’t like that Rose’s daddy treated her like a teenager. But I could easily imagine Nanny pleased with the idea of me with a paintbrush in my hand at least trying to control what my hand might do.

I’d just gotten my brace off on Monday. My hand would never be able to do something decent. Teaching me how to paint would be a waste of paper.

Daddy would be shocked when he saw the crap I made in art class.

Daddy looked so pleased when he found out that I had been invited to Rose’s house. Rose was the best girl and me being friends with her made him happy. After supper, we went to his room and made love for a couple of hours before we fell asleep.

The next day at school all the girls asked me about my singing, where I’d learned to sing like that and why I hadn’t sang out right from the beginning. The attention quickly got to be too much for me. I looked at Rose who sent the other girls off.

I had art at the end of the day, and I paid special attention as I tried to draw something, but it didn’t look at all good. A five year old could have put me to shame.

Nanny picked me up, and I told her that I wanted to practice drawing. I asked her if she had any beginners drawing books. She had the limo stop so she could pick one up on the way home.

We went right to my room and practiced. I was even seeing some success. I’d drawn a cute fat little bird. Nanny was pleased with me, and I was on cloud nine.

“You see sometimes you just need the right motivation,” she explained.

I smiled at her and nodded. I really wanted to frame this. I didn’t have any pictures hanging in my room.

Nanny had me work on a pig. It looked like it would also turn out.

“Maybe I could even get good at this?”

“Nanny will go online and see if there are more books in this series. They seem to be working wonders with you.” Nanny was thrilled with my progress.

“Thank you, Nanny.” I beamed at her.

“Nanny, leave us.” Daddy had stepped into the door with his horsewhip in his hand.

I was shocked. Why did he want to hurt me? I’d been so good. I looked at Nanny who was leaving very slowly. She had no clue either.

“I want to see the letter from school now.”

My heart stopped. I’d completely forgotten about it. I reached for my bag and searched for it. It had sunk to the bottom and had gotten squished by my books.

He looked at it and then at me.

I heard the door to Nanny’s room closing and locking.

Daddy opened the letter and read it wide-eyed. “What did you sing?”

I told him what I’d been singing.

  “What? Why?”

“It’s a song about how the singer would do things better if she were a man, not about her wanting to change into one.” I really didn’t want him to have the wrong idea.

“I know what the song is about, Amelia. What I don’t understand is why you’d think that it was important to get up and start blaring it in the courtyard?”

  “I didn’t another girl did.”

“So you thought wouldn’t it be nice to get the teachers mad at you too, so you joined her?”

“No, Daddy, it wasn’t like that. I even asked the girl to stop, but then she was mean and provoked me.”

“She provoked you to sing?” He thought my answer was really lame.

“She honestly did, Daddy. I’m not quite sure how she did it, but she did.”

“And then she provoked you into forgetting to give me the letter, too. I should really call her daddy and tell him a thing or two about his little girl’s skills of provoking other little girls to do what she wants them to do.”

“Daddy, I just forgot about it. I’m so sorry.”

“No, you’re sorry you got caught, and I’m going to make you even more sorry. Get undressed now.” He was so mad.

  “Daddy, please reconsider.”

“What? Why are you making this worse for yourself?” He stepped closer to me and stared me down.

“No, that’s not what I meant. I was just thinking that if you take a walk around the block and cool off first that might be better.” My blue eyes stared into his brown eyes, hoping that he’d realize that this wasn’t that serious.

He snapped then. He pulled me over to the bed and sat down on it. “I’m going to give you the spanking of a lifetime.”

“Daddy, please, no.” I squealed as he tossed me over his knees. As always, my skirt went up and my underwear down.

Daddy grabbed my hand so it wouldn’t be in the way. He hand spanked me until I was yelping in pain. He paid special attention to the lower part of my bottom where he knew it hurt worst. My feet kicked up the entire time.

“Stop it! This isn’t fair! It was just a song!” I screamed at him.

He wouldn’t listen to the reason that I was screaming at him.

He stood me on my feet.

My hands both went to my bottom.

  “Get undressed now,” he whispered.

“No. I didn’t do anything wrong!” I even started humming the song. He’d only spanked me good and mad.

“I was hoping you’d say that.” He grabbed me by my arm and dragged me into my bathroom.

I still had my hands firmly planted on my rear end.

He held me with one hand and yanked my chair out with the other. He set it in the middle of the room.

Daddy went directly to the right drawer and got Nanny’s paddle out.

I must have paled at the thought because he smiled at me then.

  “Not humming anymore, are you?”

How did he always know where all my stuff was? Be it pajamas, warm socks or paddles.

He sat down and pulled me over his lap. My skirt was flipped up so fast that it made a breeze on the back of my neck. My underwear was long since gone.

He held my hand in his, behind my back. The paddle landed with such force that I was left speechless. The next whack had me in terrible tears. The third whack restored my voice as I screamed out. The fourth had me begging him for mercy.

By the fifth, I got the clever idea to turn towards him so he couldn’t whack my bottom. It landed on my hip and hurt like hell.

He moved me back on my stomach and then lifted me and moved me so he coul
d pin my legs down.

I laid limp over his knees for the next five.

“Amelia, I want you to count the last ten out for me.”

I tried to tell him I couldn’t, but nothing of any sense came out of my mouth.

Whack. “Amelia, I’m waiting,” he said.

Nothing came out of my mouth except sniffles, sobs and hiccuping.

Whack. “Amelia, my patience is already gone. There is no need to push me any further. You’ll lose, you stubborn little girl.” Whack.

I pulled myself together. “Three,” I said in a dreadfully sad voice.

“No. You mean one, don’t you? You can’t just jump to three like that.” He was the devil himself.

Whack. I couldn’t speak again. Whack. Whack. Whack.

  “Two,” I screamed out.

  “Good girl. You’re teachable.”

Whack. “Three.” Whack. Whack. “Four, five?”

Whack. That one had landed low. I couldn’t do it again.

Whack. “Six.” The six was whispered so softly that I pray that he heard it, and counted it.

Whack. Whack. Both landed low. Again no sound came out of me. Whack “Seven?” I wasn’t so sure where we were in the spanking anymore.

“That’s right, sweetheart. You’re almost finished here.”

Whack. Another low one, but I’d expected it this time. “Eight.”

  Whack. “Nine.”

The last were always the worst. I figured he’d send me flying.

He didn’t disappoint me. He hit so hard that my entire body got pushed forward, and my head bumped into the floor. My neck hurt and I was whimpering, defeated over his lap.

  “Ten,” he said for me.

I’d totally disgraced myself. I certainly hadn’t proved how tough I was.

He helped me up and repeated his order that I undress. I pushed him away and threw up in the toilet. I was sobbing so heartbroken on the floor at his feet.

“Okay, you get a break, but don’t make me regret it.”

“No, over with.” I was surprised that had come out so well. I was removing my clothes as I spoke. He bent down to me and helped me. Once I was naked, he carried me back to my bed and laid me down on it. I was lying on my stomach.
