“Was he a gentleman?” Danny sounded sleepy.

  “Yes he was,” Chaya replied.

It’s your mom who was a hussy.

She returned to him and, leaning over, brushed his hair out of his eyes. Danny studied her intently. Chaya’s breath caught at how much he looked like his father in that moment.

“Good. He’s going to be around a lot.” Danny nodded decisively.

“Why’d you say that?” Chaya frowned.

“You get the same mushy look when you look at him as when you talk about Dad.” Danny shrugged.

Abruptly, Chaya sat on the bed next to him. Thoughts of Linc and all they had done filled her. Danny was right—that damn man had somehow worked his way under her guard. She caught her breath. Sex she could deal with but the thought of more filled her with dread.

“It’ll be okay, Mom. You’ll always love Dad, no matter if you fall in love with Linc, too.” Danny rubbed his hand along her back.

Chaya glanced at him. Danny had a calm look on his face. It was the look his father used to have whenever he knew she needed his strength. Chaya hugged him fiercely and kissed the top of his head.

“Okay. You can kiss me this once since I know you’re emotional.” Danny sounded put-upon.

Chaya chuckled and kissed him again, then ruffled his hair. “Go to sleep, mister, you have school tomorrow.” She stood and tucked him back in. “Love you.”

  “Love you too, Mom.”

Chaya stood and walked back to the door.

  “Mom.”

  She stopped. “Yeah, baby?”

“Coach Dixon will be good for you.” He sounded very sure.

  “Why’s that?”

  “Because he’s an excellent coach.”

Chaya could almost hear the ‘duh’ in his tone.

“Whatever you say, baby.” Chaya bit back a chuckle.

“I’m not a baby,” Danny mumbled sleepily.

Chaya leaned against the doorjamb, watching as he drifted back to sleep. Once he was breathing deeply, she stood.

“You’ll always be my baby,” she whispered.

She walked to her room and got ready for bed. Sitting on her bed, she smoothed lotion on her legs. As she rubbed, thoughts of Linc filled her. He seemed to understand that Danny came first—at least for now. She’d have to wait and see what happened between them.

A phantom touch between her legs made her gasp and shift. The sensation was repeated, then the feeling of fingers plunging inside her pussy made her drop her lotion, falling back onto the bed then arching, spreading her thighs wider. Moaning, Chaya rocked against those ghostly fingers. They filled her, plunging in and out. Chaya glanced down—there was nothing there but her spread legs. Yet it felt as if she were being fingered. Groaning, she bit her lip to stifle some of the sound and pressed forward, moving against the phantom touch. In and out it moved, bringing her closer to completion. Time and time again, it gentled, letting her calm, then drove her to the edge again.

“Finish me,” Chaya demanded through gritted teeth, pounding her hands on the bed.

The ghostly touch stilled, then filled her pussy again. Fingers pinched her clit. She arched, moaning harshly…and a kiss feathered right above her slit. Chaya leaned up, looking down with wide eyes. Still nothing but her on the bed. The feel of lips slid along her slit, then they suckled her clit. A tongue plunged in next to the fingers, taking her, while the lips continued to pull on her clit. Chaya flopped back onto the bed, fists clenched at her sides. The combined pleasurable assault continued. Gyrating on the bed, Chaya murmured incoherently as she was filled and sucked with devastating skill. Within moments she peaked, shuddering as pleasure flooded her. A kiss ghosted across her mouth, then it was gone, along with the touch.

Chaya pushed up on her elbows and looked blearily around. The room was empty. Groaning, she flopped down, putting her arm over her eyes.

“You really are losing it,” she muttered.

‘A post-dessert snack. Next time we’ll have the full meal.’ Linc’s voice filled her mind.

“Go away, Linc Voice. You’re making me crazy.”

He let out a rude snort. ‘Like you need help with that.’

“Hey, you might sound like Linc but you’re my inner neuroses, so no insulting me,” Chaya said.

  Linc Voice laughed.

“Even in my mind he’s a pain in the ass.”

Chaya gasped as she felt a pinch on her butt. Rolling over, she rubbed the abused flesh, looking warily around the room.

“I wonder if we have ghosts.” Chaya shook her head. “Nah, I don’t believe in that stuff. It’s just in my mind.”

‘Your mind makes you come so hard?’ Linc Voice sounded amused.

“I have a fertile imagination,” she insisted.

‘If that’s what you need to say to convince yourself, Linc Voice laughed.

“I do.” Chaya groaned. “Christ, now I’m arguing with myself. Hell—talking to myself, too. Stop it Chaya,” she said.

‘You’re not crazy. Just a fertile imagination.’ Linc Voice laughed uproariously.

  “Hush, you,” Chaya grumped.

  Linc Voice continued to chuckle.

“Since Linc Voice can’t behave, then the real Linc will have to pay. What shall I do? Maybe no touchy for a bit…” Chaya pursed her lips and mused.

Linc Voice stopped laughing abruptly. Chaya smirked, amused. Chaya gasped as fingers plunged into her wetness again. They pulled out.

‘Don’t threaten me with no sex unless you want to do without, too,’ Linc warned.

“No fair, Linc Voice. No fair.” Chaya puffed.

‘I don’t play fair. I do whatever I have to in order to get what I want. And I want you. Remember that,’ Linc Voice promised.

  “I will,” Chaya breathed.

She hugged herself and smiled broadly.

  Chapter Five

“You’ve had that infernal grin on your face all day. What gives?” asked Tom, the cook.

“Just glad to be almost done for the day. And for the upcoming weekend,” she replied.

Tom harrumphed and continued cooking. Chaya tried to dim the smile on her face. It was foolish to believe a fake voice’s promise that it wanted her. Just as stupid to have come so hard from a fake fingering.

Chaya finished washing the dishes and put them away, pulled off her apron and grabbed her bag.

“See you Monday,” she said to Tom.

“Hope whatever is putting that smile on your face continues.” Tom winked.

“I’ll be seeing you, so it will,” Chaya sassed.

“Get going and have a great weekend.” Tom made a shooing motion.

Chaya chuckled as she hurried out of the back door. Striding across the lot, she clicked her key ring, unlocking the door. Reaching for the door handle, she gasped as someone reached it before her. His scent filled her senses. She leant back against his solid frame, turning her head towards him. Linc kissed her softly. She put her hand on his cheek, kissing him back. He withdrew, sliding his hand over her belly, and jerked her back against his erection. He moved back to pull open the door, then helped her into the vehicle, his hand lingering on her body as he buckled her in. He moved back, putting his hands on either side of the doorframe.

“Give me a ride.” It was a demand.

  “Get in,” Chaya said.

He closed the door and walked around the hood with a purpose-filled swagger that screamed confidence and sex. Chaya moaned, watching him through the windshield. Linc got in and buckled himself in.

  “Where is your car?”

“Home. I walked over to meet you,” Linc stated.

“So you live around here?” Chaya asked.

She merged with the traffic. It was sparse at this time of night.

  “Sort of.”

She frowned at his evasive answer. “Wh—”

He put his hand on her upper thigh, making her lose her train of thought. She widened her legs. Linc slid his hand between them,
stroking his thumb against the inside of her jean-covered thighs. It was all Chaya could do to pull into the driveway and turn off the car with a shaking hand.

“Ummm…we’re here.” Chaya cleared her throat.

Linc shifted closer. She wondered when he had released his seat belt. He unbuckled hers, then whispered against the side of her face.

“Open your legs wider.” His voice was harsh.

She did as he bid. Chaya glanced at the house, but Linc clamped his hand against her inner thigh and parted her legs even further.

“We can’t, Sara might see,” Chaya said.

“She won’t. I need this.” Linc sounded hungry.

She looked at him. The need on his face matched his tone. Whimpering, Chaya tried to come up with all the reasons they shouldn’t. Linc kept eyes locked on hers as he slid his hand between her legs. Chaya moaned. He stroked his fingers up and down the seam of her jeans along her pussy. Despite the fabric between them, it felt as if he were touching her bare skin. She could feel every ridge of his fingers. Chaya clenched the wheel in her hands as Linc continued the maddening caress.

“Come for me.” He pressed down firmly against her aching slit.

Chaya moaned, pussy clenching and pulsing with wetness. She shivered as the pleasure flowed from her. Dropping her head back against the headrest, she gasped for breath. Eventually her heart rate slowed back to normal.

The sound of the car door opening caught her attention. Linc helped her out and kissed her fiercely. Chaya held onto his shoulders as Linc pulled back and put his forehead against hers.

“I’ll pick you and Danny up at eight tomorrow morning.”

  “Huh…what?”

“I’m taking you both out for the day. Be ready,” Linc stated.

He straightened and turned to walk away but she stilled him with a touch on his arm

“What about you?” she asked, looking at the bulging member in his jeans.

“Next time I come I want to be buried deep inside of you.” Linc kissed her, then removed her hand and started away.

Chaya lowered her gaze smiling. “At lea—”

She broke off, not seeing him. Darting to the end of the drive, she looked up and down the street. There was no sign of him.

  “Damn, that man moves fast.”

Chaya ambled back to her car to retrieve her bag and headed in to the house.

I wonder where he’s taking us.

  * * * *

Bemused, Chaya glanced around the area filled with people. She looked back at Linc.

“An indoor amusement park. I didn’t even know this was here.”

“Figured you and Danny would have fun here.” Linc shrugged.

“Mom, win me a bear!” Danny said.

She turned her attention to her son. Danny was pointing at a huge, stuffed black bear dressed in a blue and white hockey jersey, mask and skates. She glanced at the hole-in-a-ring game. Chaya knew the games were rigged so that no one could possibly win.

  “Danny, I do—”

“I’ll win it for you,” Linc interrupted.

“The games are rigged. You can’t possibly win.” Chaya glanced at him.

  “Watch me.” Linc smirked.

Chaya rolled her eyes, then whispered loudly to Danny, “We’ll let him waste his money if he wants to. Then we’ll go on some rides.”

“Mr Linc can win.” Danny sounded certain.

A warm feeling filled her at his words. When Linc had picked them up, he had told Danny to call him Linc. Danny had insisted on adding ‘Mr’ as a sign of respect. She had been so proud. She had raised him to respect his elders.

“He’s gonna lose his money. If he doesn’t, I’ll pay for all the rides. Deal?” Chaya smiled and hugged his shoulders.

  “Deal,” Danny said.

They looked back at Linc. He was watching them a smile on his face. He turned to the vendor and pointed to the bear. “I want that one. Which one do you want Chaya?” Linc asked.

Humouring him, Chaya pointed at a huge bear similar to the one Danny wanted. The stuffed bear was pink, wearing burgundy and white hockey gear.

“And that one.” Linc told the vendor.

“You’ll have the sister to mine, Mom.”

Chaya knew he would be disappointed when Linc lost, but he’d get over it.

“I’m not going to lose.” Linc was arrogant.

Chaya frowned, not sure if she had spoken out loud.

“Linc, you should aim here.” Danny sounded excited.

Chaya stood back and watched them. Linc listened patiently as Danny gave him pointers on how to win. The vendor had a smile on his face like he already knew Linc would be losing. He was right, but seeing Linc and Danny together, bonding, was worth it. Danny joined her as Linc paid for the balls he needed to win the two bears. He rolled his shoulders and readied his first throw. He turned and locked eyes with her as he threw. Chaya frowned at him, well aware he was showing off.

“He did it!” Danny screamed, jumping up and down.

Chaya glanced at the ring and saw the ball drop through. She pursed her lips and looked at Linc. He smirked and raised an eyebrow, then picked up another ball. He kept his eyes locked on hers as he threw that one, too. At Danny’s sound of victory, she knew without looking that he had made it again. Linc, with his gaze unwavering on hers, sank the ball into the hole over and over again.

“How the hell did he do that?” The vendor sounded pained.

  “Talent,” Linc replied.

He winked at Chaya, then turned to the vendor to collect their prizes. Danny rushed over and Linc handed him his bear, then turned and walked over to Chaya. He held out the pink bear to her. She rolled her eyes and took it.

Then she hugged it. “You won me a bear,” she gushed, batting her eyes exaggeratedly.

“I did. And I expect more genuine appreciation of my manliness than that.” Linc chuckled.

“That’s all you’re going to get,” Chaya remarked.

“Mom, I want to go on some rides,” Danny interrupted.

“Ummm…” Chaya looked at her bear, then at his.

“You two go and ride as many rides as you want. I’ll hold these,” Linc offered.

“Don’t you want to ride, too?” Chaya asked.

“Later. You go and have fun. I’ll wait over here,” Linc said.

He led the way to some benches. Chaya and Danny put their bears on the seat.

“Let’s go buy some tickets,” Chaya said.

“Got them already. Here,” Linc said.

Chaya looked at him, frowning. He held up two unlimited bracelets and there was one on his wrist, too. She hadn’t seen him stop to buy any.

  “How—”

“Come on, Mom.” Danny tugged at her.

“I’ll go on some with him, then you can go.” Chaya grabbed the bracelets and kissed Linc softly.

“Ewww… do that where I can’t see,” Danny said.

“Ew? I’ll show you ‘ew’.” Chaya pulled her hand away and made a grab for him.

Danny shrieked and took off. Chaya winked at Linc and ran after her son. She caught up with him and pulled him to her. She ruffled his head and kissed his cheek smoothing her lips on it. She let him go.

“Ewwww.” Danny wiped at his cheek.

Chaya laughed, ruffling his hair again. “Come on—let’s get on some rides.”

They sauntered over to the Ferris wheel. Absently, Chaya listened as Danny chattered. She glanced towards Linc and frowned as she noticed someone standing close behind him. The caramel-skinned woman leaned her shoulder playfully into Linc’s. The sea green of her knee length, halter necked dress hugged her curvaceous frame. Black boots with silver buckles and laces the same colour as her dress disappeared under it. She pushed her curly hair back from her face. Light winked off the gold armband curled around her muscular upper arm. The female glanced at her. The green eyes impaled her, seeming to glow. Chaya blinked. She couldn’t make out her expression from this far. The wom
an gave her a finger wave, then turned back to Linc.

  Who the hell is she?

Fuming, Chaya turned away. She stepped forward with Danny to get into the chair of the ride. As they rose, she glanced over at them again. The woman had her hands on Linc’s shoulder, with her chin resting on them. She looked really familiar with him.

I hope she catches cold in that skimpy outfit.

  * * * *

Linc watched Chaya as she raced after Danny. He smiled as she caught Danny and kissed him, messing with his hair. He couldn’t hear what they said but then they continued onto the Ferris wheel.

“Well, I never would have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. Nun, having fun with a child.” The melodious voice was mocking.

“Linc,” he corrected her, then continued, “Lurking around again, Naunet? Don’t you have something else you should be doing?”

“Iona. I rather think I should have another name, too, if I am going to be hanging around these humans,” Naunet stated.

Linc glanced at her in shock. “What?”

“You suddenly find them so fascinating. So I’ve decided to find out why. Maybe I can find me someone to fuck, too.” Naunet shrugged lazily, then looked at a passing man.

“If you’re doing this to make me jealous it won’t work.” Linc frowned.

“It isn’t always about you, Linc,” Naunet scoffed, returning her attention to him.

“Isn’t it?” Linc raised a brow.

“You are such an arrogant ass.” Naunet laughed and pushed her shoulder against his.

“Just like you are,” he countered.

“I’ve missed you, Nun. We might not have worked as couple but we were friends first,” Naunet said softly.

Linc studied his counterpart. She was the other part of the primordial water. And, more importantly, his friend.

“And you were always a pain in my backside.”

“But you have such a lovely one.” Naunet squeezed his butt.

“Quit that. I belong to Chaya.”
