Tommy was different and transformed. The bad in his life had slipped away, and goodness emerged, which I had helped him with and felt responsible for. Tommy Rawe had been given a second chance, and he had survived the hazards of the world. Good for him. Good for us.
“Come on. Let’s stay in,” he begged, whining.
“Give me one good reason why,” I said, putting him on the spot.
He slipped his snug T-shirt off, dropped it to the bathroom floor, took one of my palms in his left one, and dragged it over one of his firm nipples. Then he moved my palm down to his belt buckle and southward where it cupped his semi-hard erection.
“How’s that for a good reason? Is it convincing?”
“Better than what I anticipated.”
I knew I was in love with him and would never leave his side, through all the good and bad in our shared lives. Then I fell to my knees, began to unbuckle his jeans, and confirmed that we were definitely staying in for the night, skipping our adventure on the town and a string of performing drag queens.
