Doug was determined that would turn out to be true.
“I’m sure Mike has already cautioned you about making physical love to her,” Rex added. “Hold off and protect yourselves if you can, for your future lives, but don’t be surprised if you can’t.”
Austin smiled and shook his head. “We found that to be fairly impossible. It’s hard for a starving man to refuse a feast.”
“We’re going slowly to protect Marcy, but I don’t know how much longer we can hold out.” Doug met Troy’s gaze. “We might be lost already.”
“If you ever need to talk, don’t hesitate to let us know. It seems that we all need support at this point in our lives.” Rex smiled at them. “How are things coming with the expansion of the children’s home?”
“That’s coming along without any problems,” Troy said.
Doug and Troy gave them an update on the work being done.
Chapter Eleven
“How do you like working for Troy and Doug?” Cheryl asked Marcy as they sat down at the desk in Cheryl’s office.
Marcy returned Cheryl’s friendly smile with her own. “I really like it. They’re amazing to work for. I find the job interesting as well as challenging. I’m learning a lot about designing and decorating homes right now.”
Cheryl nodded. “They’re great at what they do for people. They’re amazing interior decorators as well as architects. Did they tell you they’ve almost finished with the building of a children’s home and school that I dreamed of providing for kids who need a place to stay?”
“Yes, they mentioned it. I think what you’re doing is wonderful. What inspired you to take this on?”
“I found myself in a bad place with no job. Fortunately, I met Austin and Rex when my car ran out of gas in the middle of the night just outside of town. I was looking for new work and a place to stay and they provided both for me. I couldn’t keep from falling for them when they were so caring and generous to me.”
“Troy and Doug came to my rescue under similar circumstances. I was looking for work here in town and knocked on their door in desperation when some rude guys in a pickup tried to give me a hard time. They needed an assistant and I accepted the job. I hope to save up enough money to help my mom out and also finish my last year of college.”
“What are you majoring in?” Cheryl asked.
“After my mother’s experience with becoming single and not having sufficient funds to live in her own home, I’m majoring in business with the idea of building and directing a retirement home. After I get my degree, I want to establish a community of some sort for adults who need a place they can afford to live in on a small income. If I keep my job with Doug and Troy, I hope I’ll be able to have them build the retirement community. It would actually be more of a neighborhood of small attached residences.”
Cheryl smiled at her. “Did they tell you that they’re also helping to finish a new halfway house for a couple friends who work in that field? They’re generous guys.”
“No they haven’t told me about the halfway house yet,” Marcy said. “I’ve just started working for them and they put me to work concentrating on some interior decorating for their friend Mike.”
Cheryl nodded. “I imagine you’re enjoying that. I’ve found working with Austin and Rex easy. I’ll bet you find Troy and Doug to be the same.”
Marcy returned her smile. “Yes, but you’re close to Austin and Rex. That probably makes a difference.”
“We’re actually living together, all three of us,” Cheryl said. “I fell in love with both of them, and realized I wanted to have both of them as my life partners.”
“You did?” Marcy was surprised. Living with two guys was so different from what society expected and accepted as normal. Although she’d found having sex with Troy and Doug amazing, she hadn’t really given serious thought to a long-term relationship with the two of them in a threesome.
“It wasn’t hard to love them both, and they’re amazingly caring of me.”
“That’s wonderful. Is it tricky to live with two men at the same time?” Marcy wondered what it would be like on a daily basis.
“Not at all,” Cheryl said. “They’re both so considerate of me that pretty much everything goes smoothly. I always have someone to give me help when I need it, and I adore both of them.”
Marcy thought about what Cheryl said. What would it be like to have intercourse with two guys regularly if that’s what they expected? How would that work out? The guys must want to take turns being alone with her sometimes, or would they? Seemed to her that even that way of sharing would keep everyone pretty busy at night, especially her. How would she get enough sleep to work on her college degree as well as work full time with Troy and Doug? She’d already had some experience with Troy and Doug having playful sex with her. It could probably be very satisfying to live together with them. She was drawn to both guys equally. She also cared for both of them.
Troy and Doug had a lot to recommend them as worthwhile people, and she wanted to know more about them. She wanted to know everything about them. Did they regard her as favorably as she regarded them? She hoped so. She was so glad she had this chance to meet Cheryl and talk with her. Marcy intended to have sex with both Troy and Doug the next time they initiated sexual games. They had both taken time and gone slowly, making her comfort come first. Her trust in Troy and Doug had grown even more after learning from Cheryl about all the good things they’d done in this town for other people as well as children.
Just then all four of the guys walked down the hall, the sound of their footsteps coming closer to Cheryl’s office. Marcy looked from Troy to Doug as they came through the doorway and smiled at her. They exuded strength and sex. She returned their smile. “Did you have a productive discussion?”
They all four gave quick nods in affirmation.
“Sure did,” Doug said. “Looks like things are going along smoothly.”
Austin looked at Cheryl. “We’re right on schedule to finish the work on the children’s school building before the next semester begins.”
“That’s great,” Cheryl said, her face lighting up with pleasure.
They all headed back to the serving area of the steakhouse.
Marcy was still in awe of what Troy and Doug accomplished to help the children. More and more she liked everything she learned about the two guys.
Rex strode behind the bar and packed up steak dinners for the three of them. “Hope you’ll enjoy your meal tonight. I wrapped up a few of our best cuts for you.”
Doug accepted the packages from Rex. “I know we will. Thanks a lot.”
“That looks like more than enough for one meal,” Troy added. “Thanks for the generous portions.”
“No problem,” Austin said. He grinned at Marcy. “Hope you enjoy them. If they’re not the best steaks you’ve ever tasted, bring them back.”
“I’m sure they’ll be perfect.” Marcy smiled at Austin and Rex.
“See you all later,” Doug said. “We better get back to the store before the afternoon is gone.”
Marcy waved to Cheryl and her live-in partners and accompanied Troy and Doug to their vehicle.
As Troy drove onto the main street, he said, “It’s really a little late to do any more work at the store today. I say we head home.”
“You’re right,” Doug agreed. “It’ll be dusk soon. I doubt we’d have any customers drop in at this hour.”
They passed the lake on the way to the house and Marcy noticed large dogs or something, maybe coyotes, running near the edge of the water. “Those are awfully big dogs playing near the lake.” She glanced from Troy to Doug for any information they might share about the animals.
She caught the look Troy and Doug gave each other. What was that about? Did the community have a problem with dog packs? Why would they keep silent about her remark about the dogs?
Troy and Doug were not always forthcoming with information about the town. She couldn’t believe all that Cheryl had
told her about what they’d done with their building construction and their help for those in need. Her respect for Troy and Doug continued to grow. They had given her no hint of the extent of what they had built for the community and for those in desperate need.
Not only were they building the home and school for homeless kids that was Cheryl’s dream project, but according to her they gave large amounts of money to local establishments like the halfway house they were helping to finish. She admired them for their donations as well. Keeping quiet about her question concerning the animals was not the same as being low-key about their help in the community.
“Those are actually wolves.” Doug smiled at her as she raised her eyebrows in complete surprise at what he’d said.
“Really?” She couldn’t believe it. “Do they present a dangerous threat to the people who live here?”
“No, they really don’t.” Doug looked at her, his face serious now.
She glanced at Troy who kept his gaze on the road ahead as he drove toward their home.
“How could they not cause danger to people in this town? I can’t believe the townspeople allow wolves to come so close to public places.”
Troy shrugged.
She looked at Doug for an explanation since Troy wasn’t forthcoming. “They keep to themselves,” Doug said. “They don’t bother anyone at the lake. If any of them become aggressive those particular problem wolves are chased away from town, and so far we’ve been able to control the situation. The people around here only take action when there’s a definite need.”
“Really?” She found that an amazing attitude for a whole town. “Well even so, I don’t think I’d feel comfortable swimming at the lake with wolves hanging out there.”
“You don’t have to.” Doug grinned at her again. “You can swim all you want in the pool at our house. You’re always welcome to use the pool as much as you want.” He looked at her with a warm serious expression.
She knew he was telling her the truth. They would be happy for her to swim in their beautiful pool whenever she felt like it. “Tonight, though, I’m famished and I can hardly wait to taste one of those steaks that Austin and Rex packed up for us.”
Troy stopped their vehicle in the driveway and turned off the ignition. Doug opened the door on his side and she scooted across the seat toward him.
Doug helped her out and held onto her hand. “I’m hungry for more than steak. I could eat you up right now.”
She took a quick breath. He had taken her by surprise. Her body reacted and she felt warm all over. Now that she thought about it, she wouldn’t mind enjoying sex with them tonight. She smiled at him. “Sounds good to me too, but I need to eat first so I have enough strength to keep up with you two.” She smiled at Doug and Troy, as he joined them.
Troy looked down at her with heat in his eyes. “It’s going to be hard to wait until after we have dinner.”
She smiled at him. “Isn’t there a saying that the best comes to those who wait?”
“Oh, man,” Doug said, chuckling. “She has us just where she wants us. Let’s put those steaks on the grill and warm them up so we can get down to eating.”
Troy looked down at her with a wry smile on his face. “We definitely want you to have enough strength for what we have in mind.”
Exactly what did they have in mind? “I can hardly wait,” she told him, and smiled with what she hoped he took as a dare in her expression.
“Troy, you fire up the grill while I get the steaks ready,” Doug suggested. “What would you like to drink, Marcy?”
“I’m good with whatever you guys are having.” She took a seat on the middle stool at the island and watched Doug prepare the steaks. When the food was ready, Troy put the meat on the grill.
Doug brought her a cold glass of wine and handed a glass to Troy. He took a seat next to her while Troy watched the steaks cooking.
Marcy wanted to know more about the projects Troy and Doug had going. “Cheryl mentioned to me today that you guys have been involved in finishing a halfway house for a couple of your friends. I think that’s great. How close are you to being done with it?”
“We’ll sign off on that once the painting inside is done,” Doug said.
“How did you happen to get involved?” she asked.
“A couple friends asked us if we’d like to help and it looked like a great job to work on,” Doug said. “The good they do for people warranted as much as we could provide both for them and for all the help they give to townsfolk who need a hand.”
“I admire you two for that,” Marcy said softly, smiling at Doug and then Troy. “Not everyone reaches out to people who have a project like that. I hope someday when I finish my business degree in college that I can build a business which helps elderly people who need a place to retire.”
“How did you happen to come up with that particular idea?” Doug asked.
“My mom needs a place where she can live since my father ran out on her,” Marcy said. “It can’t be expensive, but I want her to live in a comfortable, safe place. I’ve discovered in searching for a home for her, that there’s a need of less expensive but adequate and comfortable retirement homes. Most are too expensive for the average-income person.” Marcy didn’t want to say too much in case they felt like she was asking for money, which she wasn’t. She intended to be successful on her own merit when she graduated with a degree in business and economics hopefully within the next few years.
“Sounds like your dad didn’t provide for her before he took off,” Troy said. “Didn’t he at least leave something in the bank so she could pay her bills?”
“No,” she said. “My mom had the misfortune of having her husband empty the bank account when he left her. I’m just glad he left. Twenty or more years of abuse from him was way more than anyone should have to put up with.” Had she said too much? She glanced from Doug to Troy.
Troy frowned as he held her gaze. “What kind of abuse? Did he abuse you physically?”
“I learned to stay out of his way when I was young. He was verbally abusive to us, but he also liked to hit whoever was within reach when he lost his temper. I was relieved when my mom told me he’d walked out.”
“How is she paying her bills?” Doug asked, looking as concerned as Troy.
“I’m paying them,” Marcy said softly. “I don’t care about the bank account. I can help my mom with that. I’d saved up a little for college and my own expenses with my previous job. Once I finish college and start my own business, I’m planning to help her move to a better place.” She noticed the look that passed between Doug and Troy.
“If you need any help at all,” Troy said, “let us know. Anything at all, we’ll be glad to help you.”
Doug nodded in agreement. “Don’t hesitate to let us know.” He put an arm around her waist and hugged her.
Tears threatened to fill her eyes at their generous offer. “Thank you. You guys are the best. If I do need help in the future, I’ll be sure to let you know.”
“Good,” Doug said. He hugged her again.
“Dinner’s ready,” Troy announced. “Come pick out your steak and help yourself to whatever you want.”
His look said more than his words. She raised an eyebrow as she returned his smile and looked at Doug, who looked as hungry as a wolf. “Don’t worry, I will.”
Doug groaned. “You’re killing me, babe. Just you wait until we finish dinner.”
“I’m looking forward to dessert,” she said, grinning at him and Troy.
“Oh, yeah,” Troy said. “You’ll get your just desserts.”
She couldn’t help laughing, and helped herself to big portions of food. She wondered, though, what they planned to do to her tonight. After talking about what she wanted to accomplish, she knew she wanted most of all to be independent and successful with her future business ideas. She would definitely like to experience more sex with Troy and Doug, but it would only be for pleasure and that’s all, no strings attached.
> Many successful people were driven by something that happened in their past. She figured that Doug and Troy were trying to prove something with their hard work and determination to build their business. She wondered what drove them. She hoped it wasn’t something bad.
Having sex with them had been fun so far and she would like to continue, but she was starting to care about them more than she should. She realized she sought those same feelings from them. She needed to guard herself against becoming too close to them.
“Come on, babe. Bring me your empty plate and get ready for more fun,” Doug directed.
Marcy slid off the stool and took her plate to Doug where he rinsed dishes at the kitchen sink. Troy deftly put them into the dishwasher.
When the dishes were disposed of they turned and both of them looked at her like they intended to eat her for dessert. She wondered what they had in mind.
Suddenly Doug bent down and closed his strong arms around her thighs, lifting her up and over his shoulder. “Doug,” she exclaimed. “What are you doing?”
He swatted her seat playfully. “I’m carrying you off to my lair.” He headed out of the kitchen and down the hall toward the bedrooms. “Which room, Troy? Yours or mine?”
“Yours is closer,” Troy said, striding in front of Doug.
They turned and walked through a bedroom door she hadn’t been through before.
“Here you go,” Doug said, as he stopped beside another huge four poster bed and lowered her slowly, letting her slide down the front of his torso to her feet.
As she did so, she could feel the hard bulge beneath his jeans waistband. Goodness, he was aroused and ready, and so was she. She looked up at him and he was smiling at her, his blue-green eyes glistening from the light through the windows. Troy moved close behind her and pulled her back against his body. She felt his hard length tease her bottom. The ache between her thighs increased as the two incredibly sexy guys aroused her. Troy’s hands cupped her breasts and his fingers teased her nipples. Heat raced to her opening. Doug squatted down in front of her and nuzzled her belly, slowly moving lower until he reached her clit.
