The king shaman or what ever someone who performs dark crafts lives in a hut built from preostoric bones and ancient rocks with magic coursing through them like bright veins. The hut is open at the top and in the middle of the floor is a hole leading to the core of the earth. Every so often (maybe 1000 turns of the moon) he performs a great and ancient summoning where he levitates above the hole and rises to the sky. Then draws energy from a star. Pulling it to pass through him and fall into the core of the world to keep its magic in the land and power. While the star is being pulled it glitters the night sky. This practice kills the shaman and his taken over by the next in line.

Mermaid fight scene
Her tail turned of crimson and faded into an even darker red before my eyes. Mine changed to a pearl colour. ‘what was happening to us?’ my mind flooded with possibilities as I regrated the fact that I was fighting my cousin, my best friend since childhood. It broke my heart, though I knew I had to fight her to the death. As I put my blade to hers, I saw a vision of a swimming fish, deep violet in colour, swimming in the same spot in front of my eyes, colour was fading from its underbelly, leaving a pale white colour. yet the rest of its body still remained vibrant. The fish was of the Blackmore species. As my brain attempted to made sense of what my eyes were viewing, my cousin called out “come on cousin, you have always been waiting for this moment! End me now and the kingdom is yours. If you do not, it is I that will rule and you that will perish.” With one unforgettable slash I gashed her tail.
Injured and shocked she pulled back and swam the opposite direction of me “This is not over” her booming voice drifted own the parted water made by the swoosh of her tail.
Trying not to cry at the situation I was in, I headed back to the castle to inform my father of my half-hearted victory. “Father, she is injured but she got away. The fight is not over yet.”
Sage is crowned the elfen queen of Sugar land/. She now rules against bear and the others and is a strong leader. She is angry and instructs her new following to attack her previous tribe. Fighting against bear who is now their new leader. They are planning their next battle
The proposition coupled with the information I had received sounded musical to my ears. Bear was just starting to notice me in the way I had always dreamed, perhaps he would join me and I could follow in my mother’s footsteps. No, Bear would never abandon the tribe and Sugar Land, my land, would be the very place he is fighting. I could rule Sugarland and be Queen. No more being pushed to the side and fighting for my right to a place in battle. It is my birthright. I would sit on that throne tall and proud with an entire land by my side. As I pondered that magical idea, my mind kept being brought back to the betrayal and abandonment I would cause my tribe.
Bear took my hand and looked deep into my eyes, he was pondering words, this was it. He was going to ask me to be his and have my heart for his own. My stomach was doing flips and my heart was singing. Although as the words left his mouth.. “Sage, I-I Cannot be yours. My heart is with another..” my vision began to blur as tears welled up in my eyes and trickled down my cheeks, my head began to feel tight and hot like it would explode, my stomach was dropping and pulling my guts with it.. my body felt numb.. I felt as though I was dying. He has made up my mind for me.. sadness turned into rage, As my fingers regained feeling and I felt his hands touching mine, I ripped them from him. His face looked torn up and saddened, yet none of that mattered now. He had broken me, he had taken any semblance of caring I had for him and cut it down the middle as though it were his enemy. Every nerve ending on my scalp hurt. The thoughts of our childhood and shared secrets, my first kiss as a child that made me fall madly in love with him and devote my life to helping him with his cause, to fighting by his side, it was all for nothing. That was it, I was going to make it my life’s mission to cut him down and destroy him, I would fight against him with every breath my body had, with every fibre of my being. “I ACCEPT THE THRONE! I AM YOUR QUEEN FROM NOW ON! I, SAGE “” WILL RULE THIS LAND INTO BATTLE” My voice was firm and strong booming though Sugar land.
IF anyone was quailing or slashing through another, they were all still now. Not a body moved, all eyes were on me, including Bear’s who were clearly in utter horror as he processed my betrayal of him. He never saw this coming, I was breaking his heart just as he broke mine. Elves started approaching me placing a royal crown upon my head. I walked to my throne and took my seat. Still No one had moved apart from my new elven workers, who were preparing me for take over. I sat tall and strong as I stared at Bear with stone cold eyes and face, unreadable. I watched as a tear rolled from bears eyes down his cheek and eventually falling to the lush grass of my new land. My now ex-tribe began to gather as Bear still stood in awe. “Bear, we need a new strategy, it obviously was not planned that Sage would arrive with us yet turn against us, but now we are fighting her! We need to make a move.” One member shoved him in his arm to get his attention. Bears horrified expression stayed as he took one last look at me before turning to strategies.
Bear felt a huge strike of pain in the back of his head. As he opened his eyes to a blurred world, he started to make out "his mate" padding flames off him.
"You were stuck with golems flaming rock, bear snap out of it. BEAR GET uuuh"...
The words failed "his mate" as a spear of solid rock shot through his face.
Stumbling to his feet all he could hear was a ring, an eary sound drowning out the blood drenched screams all around. Watching in slow motion golems squish people below there boulder feet, fairys have there wings burned then hacked to death....
He picked his axe back u
p and stared ahead blurry visions for a moment when "someone" dove infront of him to block a lightning flash which blew the warriorsTheir legs off.
Bear looked at his brethren, and charged forward in a blind rage. He became a madman wildly slashing his axe across the battle field like lightning strike through the clouds. Blood turned his hands red and made it hard to grip.

Chapter Twenty
“You know you have kept this land from progression for far too long. We have come to take it back. You can either help us or let us pass.” The trees gasped in horror, feeling betrayed.
Small fairies twinkle in the reflection of the water, fluttering and landing on petals of exotic leaves. “sugar land”
The choice to bring Bear here was risky, yet Violet thought it was a necessary one at the time; if she was to save his life. Swimming, one hand attached to his arm, she found a spot to hide him. She placed him in a bed of coral, hovering above, while she watched over him. She had the corner of her tail touching him, allowing him to breath. His breath would only stay stable with her touch.
Bear awoke, looking at her with desire and wonder. He touched her face, she looked at him curiously, not denying his touch. He put his hand through her hair, connecting his hand with her jaw bone, pulling her in, he kissed her. She floated above him receiving his affections. He held her hand with one of his and ran the other down the middle of her chest. He played with her hair and kissed her neck. He slid his hand down her tail, and just as they were losing touch of reality, a merrow swam past them, a swarm coming toward them.
Violet's reaction was instant, too quick for Bear to comprehend. They were behind an abandoned ship. She breathed her air into his mouth so that he could breath, and went to attack in defence of him.
She hissed and got in a stance to attack, the merrows flinched and hissed at her. Thought there were more of them, they were a lot smaller than the typical mermaid. Esmeralda was suddenly across from Violet, ready to attack from the other side. Spooked, the Merrows backed off and swam away hissing and spitting screeching noises.
“Violet, did you go to the surface again? Uncle will have your head!” Esmeralda swam forward, gesturing for Violet to follow.
“Wait, I can't go yet!” Violet resisted.
“Why not? what could possibly be keeping you? Your father is holding a family meeting.” Esmeralda was pressing. She was looking at Violet quizzically when she noticed floating brown hair over her shoulder.
“Violet, you didn’t! It is forbidden!” she gasped
“I know! That’s why you cannot tell anyone!” Violet swam in front of Bear, protecting him.
“Of Course I would never! But if you get caught..” Esmeraldas face went from shocked to fearful.
“He needed my help.” Violet persisted
“Well we need to go to the meeting now, so I don’t know what you are going to do with him. Just leave him here.”
“I can’t leave him.. you have to help me hide him.” Violet looked at Esmeralda, willingly.
“Oh no, I am NOT helping you hide your Human.”
An hour later, the two of them were at the meeting and Bear was hidden in near view.
Violet's father Achilles was fierce in his stature, with long flowing hair, silver in colour, muscles protruding from his chest with arms to match. He floated upon his throne with his trident in hand. The trident was silver and magnificent, with crystals and jewels of the sea covering its surface.
“Violet, now that you have joined us, I will begin.” Achilles spoke with his gloriously booking voice. He paused to look upon his daughter before continuing.
“As you all know, Violet and Esmeralda are both coming of age and must fight for their place on the throne. As tradition goes, they both have equal right due to their lineage, with Violet of course being my daughter, and Esmeralda’s father being my brother, and past king, may he rest in peace, yet only one can be your queen and ruler. The ceremony in which this will take place, will be on their birthday, come five moons.”
Violet and Esmeralda looked at each other, hearts breaking.
Bear, listening to the decree at ears length, peared his head to see Violets reaction.
“I feel human vibrations in the water” Shouted Dahlia, a mermaid in the crowd, and one of Violets distant relatives. At once, close to one hundred mermaids were surrounding him.
“WHO BROUGHT THIS HUMAN INTO OUR KINGDOM?!” boomed Achilles, his trident hitting the ground, shaking the entire sea floor.
“If no one answers, I will kill the human!” he cried
Still no one answered.. instead, they looked at one another in judgement.
“That's it, everyone get in a line. I am so disappointed. My people are not honest, so I must demand answers using my magic. Let go of the human.” he demanded, sighing.
When the stampede of mermaids had swam over to Bear, he opened his mouth in fright and Violets breath was leaving him. He did not have much time before he would lose air altogether and need to be above water or lose his life.
The entire kingdom was in a long line as Achilles went from person to person, looking them in the eye and asking the same question.. “Did you go above sea? Did you disobey me?”
As each mermaid said no, he moved on to the next. When it was Esmeraldas turn, Violet flinched, knowing that no one could withstand his powers.
“Esmeralda, my niece, did you go above water?”
“No” she replied, “But Voilet did.”
Violet looked at her in pure anguish. Esmeralda stood firm and did not look at her.
Achilles looked at Violet in a rage that she had never experienced before. She trembled under his stare. “Violet, my daughter. As you have disobeyed me, you are cast out of the kingdom, and therefore the throne will go to Esmeralda.”
A combination of rage, anger, hurt and sadness rushed through Violet. She grabbed Bear by the arm and swam him at hyper speed to the surface. She placed him on the water's edge and made her way back down to the kingdom even faster; speed she never knew she was capable of. She spotted Esmeralda; charging for her with force, she barged her, their powerful bodies hitting with such immense power that the sounds could be heard above water. Esmeralda pushed back and flipped herself to face Violet with such speed, the move could only be seen with the eye of another mermaid or something more powerful. Esmeralda looked at her with hurt, for only a split second, and in that moment, they both knew this was going to be the final fight. The fight that concluded the
heir to the throne.
Violets skin turned that of pearl in colour, her scales change to a shimmer of pearlescent colours, her tail expanded in size and her hair turned to white with pearl reflects. A crown grew on top of her head, entirely made of solid pearl, she was a shimmering goddess. Her nails grew long and pearlescent to match. Her eyes were an aqua green in colour. She was beautiful.
Esmeralda’s tail expanded in size and changed to blood red in colour, as did the crown that emerged from her head. Her hair was raven and her nails were long and red to match the rest of her exterior. Her eyes were a deep red in colour.
Violet felt her hand heating as she struck it out towards her side. Only instinct could have made her do it as she transformed. Ice blue vibrations came from her hand and a trident was suddenly in her grasp. Esmeralda did the same.
Their tridents locked and they fought with every ounce of their strength. Their powerful large bodies knocking together.
The fight went on until violet slashed esmeralda and she wielded back in pain, hissing. She swam away fast, yet violet knew she would return one day.
