Page 23
Thank you to my parents, my sister, and Mark for never losing faith in my abilities and always encouraging me to do my best…and take a break!
Although she is no longer with us and has never gotten the chance to read this book, I’d like to acknowledge the role my oma played in the creation of this and many other novels. She always supported me, read every book (even the embarrassing ones!) and never failed to tell me how proud she was of my accomplishments. Oma, I will continue to pursue my dreams and I promise that when the going gets difficult, I will be brave and strong. Like you.
About the Author
Harmony Williams has been living vicariously in Regency-era England since she discovered Jane Austen. Since time machines don’t yet exist, she’s had to make do with books—fictional and non-fictional. On the rare occasions she doesn’t have her nose stuck in a book, she likes to drink tea and spend time with her 90-lb lapdog. A feminist, she writes stories about strong women and the men who support them as equals.
