“Ooooooh!” I heard from behind us, and turned to see Jamar and Astrid standing in the doorway, both wearing goofy-ass grins. “Raf and Britt in here doing the nasty y’all!” he yelled, and suddenly all of our friends were in the doorway, a couple of them with their phones out.
Raf didn’t let me go, and didn’t move back from our undeniably not-that-friendly intimate embrace.
“So are we still on this “just friends?” lie,” Anika asked, propping a finger against her chin.
“No,” Raf and I said, at the same time, sparking a chorus of awwwws as we laughed.
I met his gaze with a grin, and without me having to say anything, he brought his lips to mine.
“Not anymore,” he said. “We’re a helluva lot more than that.”
