  Jamee closed her eyes. For the first time in weeks, she felt her family was on her side. The lies were gone. Finally everyone knew what she had faced, what she had accomplished, and what mattered to her.

  “If I do, can I cheer?” she asked.

  Jamee saw the answer in their eyes and felt the soaring aerials in her heart.
