“Wow. What a nice view. What’s going on? I know it’s not to show me the view,” Rachel asked.
“What’s up with you and Carson?” Gia questioned Rachel.
“Nothing. Why?”
“It looked like something and you have been together the entire party.”
“We’re friends and he’s my lawyer.”
“Look, I’m behind you no matter what you do. I love you. I want you to be happy. Maria came up to me and made a comment,” Gia explained.
“What did she say?”
“She said ‘Oh, what’s he back with the love of his life.’ I said, “What’s that supposed to mean?” She said, ‘Nothing. I just wanted to let you know I was leaving.’ She hugged and kissed me goodbye and left.”
“She has room to talk. Flaunting her new boyfriend in his face. That little hoe,” Rachel said with anger in her voice.
“There’s something I want to tell you. It stays between me and you,” Gia said as she made Rachel pinky swear.
“I would never say anything. What’s going on?”
“I think Maria is having you followed.”
“What? There’s no way. Vinnie is saying he thinks its Clara. She’s trying to pin him as her baby’s father. She’s trying to get money and because I’m his wife she wants it from me. That’s his story. I called Clara, her’s was different.”
“Listen, I really think it’s Maria. Brad showed me the video and the girl looks like her. It’s hard to see but I’m ninety percent sure,” Gia confirmed.
“Why would she have me followed?”
“Rumors are flying about you and Carson. She wants the house and she’s pulling out all the stops to get it, plus she’s trying to see if it’s true. What people are saying and all that.”
“So, now I have two people it could be. Bitches are crazy. I don’t think I should get involved with Carson then.”
“Fuck her. You deserve to be happy and you both love each other. Everyone out there could see it and knows it. Mommy and Mrs. Licciano were crying.”
“This is insane. It’s really like a Jerry Springer episode.”
“At least you have action. It gets boring sitting in a mansion all day,” Gia complained.
“Poor little rich girl. You’re house is like a city. You don’t even need to leave it.”
“That’s true. I guess once I go back to work, I’ll feel differently. Look, go out there and don’t let anyone stop you. I’m here for you 100 percent. I love you, always. We’ll deal with this together. Nobody’s going to hurt my sister… The old head.”
“I can still kick your ass… Short stuff,” Rachel joked.
“Try it,” Gia dared.
They joked all the way back to the table inside. Rachel felt so happy to know people were there to support her.
The rest of the party was so much fun. Rachel and Carson drank and danced. She felt a little more relaxed with Carson after she had her conversation with Gia. She made her realize that she loved him and she shouldn’t care what other people thought. Carson had to take his parent’s home because his Mom didn’t drive and his Dad was drinking. They said their goodbyes and he said he would be over her house at nine that evening.
As Rachel was getting ready to leave, Colin came up to her.
“I guess I know why you couldn’t be with me.”
“It’s very complicated, but I’m still married regardless of the situation.”
“True,” Colin replied.
“Um, I saw you talking to Sheila most of the night.”
“Yeah, she’s a really nice person.”
“She grows on you. She’s Brad’s ex.”
“She mentioned that. She asked me out, too.”
“That’s Sheila.”
“I told her I couldn’t do that because she was Brad’s ex.”
“Oh, trust me; Brad would pay you to go out with her.” Rachel quipped.
“So I guess we’re just friends,” Colin asked with a sad look on his face.
“I guess so. I’m sorry. I need to figure out my life.”
“I understand. I’ll call you tomorrow about the project.”
“Okay. Talk to you soon.”
Rachel grabbed her purse from under the table and gathered her sons. They said their goodbyes. She had to go home and pack some last minute items for the boys. She couldn’t believe they were leaving for three months. She would get to see them on weekends, but it wasn’t the same. The boys had the music blasting in the car. Jeff’s phone started to ring, so she lowered it.
“Mom, Dad’s on the phone,” Jeff said.
“Put him on speaker. I’m driving,” Rachel yelled over the chaos.
“What now, Vin?”
“Can I come over before they leave?”
“Ask them. I’m out of it, but you need to go when they leave.”
“Guys, you want me to come over,” Vinnie asked them.
“If you want,” Jay replied without a care in the world. “I was going to go see my girlfriend before I left.”
“I’m not going to see you for three months.”
“Grandmom said you can come down and we can stay with you whenever you wanted us to,” Jeff said reminding him in case he conveniently forgot.
“Well, Rach, Can I see you?
“Hell no.”
“We need to discuss some things.”
“I’m done discussing now. We’ll talk about this in private.”
She really needed to tell him the hell off and get him out of her life. He hurt her so much and when the boys find out about the baby drama, they are going to be distraught. She was completely done with him.

Rachel’s parents picked up the boys around seven o’clock.
“Where’s all their stuff?” Carlotta asked.
“I gave them enough stuff for the week. I’ll be down on Saturday with the rest. I didn’t think you were going to be able to fit it. You always bring a lot of shit.”
She kissed her sons goodbye and her heart was hurting to see them leave. She was going to be all alone in her house for the next three months.
Chapter 13
Rachel decided to take a shower and slip into something comfortable. She chose black yoga shorts and a cute pink tank top. She put on some makeup and flat ironed her hair to make herself more presentable. Rachel curled up on the sofa and finished up her romance novel that she was reading on her Kindle while she waited for Carson to arrive. When the doorbell rang, she was praying it was Carson because you just never knew who could be knocking at your door when you lived in South Philly. She looked out the peep hole because Vinnie could be lurking around. It was such a relief to see it was Carson. Rachel answered the door. Carson walked in and shut the door behind him.
“I bought you flowers, but you can look at them later,” he said tossing a bouquet of white lilies on the sofa. They were her favorite.
Carson took Rachel in his arms and kissed her passionately.
“Wow,” Rachel said trying to catch her breath.
“I have been waiting for a very long time to do that,” Carson said.
“Me, too. Do you want something to drink?”
“Sure.”
Rachel poured two glasses of wine. She needed to relax her nerves because they were jumping. She felt like it was going to be her first time all over again. It had been so damn long; it was a year since she had sex. It was like secondary virginity all over again.
Rachel set the wine glasses down on coasters on the coffee table. The aroma in the room was delicious. Carson’s cologne had her so horny.
“Come here, sweetie.”
He pulled Rachel onto his lap. She could feel his cock growing hard underneath her. She wrapped her legs around his waist. He kissed her on the back of the neck. Chills ran down her body.
“I had a great time with you today. It just felt so right,” Carson whispered in her ear.
“It really did.”
“Do you think we can have a second chanc
e at first love?”
“I think you’ve always had a piece of my heart. Come on, let’s go upstairs,” Rachel said as she grabbed his hand and led him up the stairs to her bedroom.
She set the mood with candles and soft music before he arrived. She wanted to set a romantic vibe. She wanted it to be perfect.
They stood face to face. Carson slid the straps of her tank top down with his pointer fingers. He bent down and kissed her shoulder. She could feel her nipples getting hard just from the touch of his mouth on her skin. He ran his fingers down her neck and slid her shirt down to her waist exposing her bare breasts. He took them into his mouth teasing and biting her nipples with his tongue.
“Do you have baby oil,” he whispered seductively. “I want to massage your body.”
“Yes I do.”
“Get it and lie on your stomach.”
Rachel did as she was told and rushed back within seconds. Carson straddled her ass and squirted the oil on her back and shoulders. It felt so cold until his large hands began massaging her. As he was pressing, she could heat generated from her core. As the heat pulsed, her panties were getting soaked with pleasure.
Carson moved his hands down lower and pulled her shorts down. He was gripping and caressing her ass cheeks, but his hands were slippery from the oil. He pulled her shorts completely off and spread her legs apart. He continued to massage below her ass cheeks and moved his hand toward her center. He inserted his finger inside of her and caressed her clit.
“Turn over sweetie, I need to look at you,” Carson asked.
Rachel turned over completely naked and ready to be taken.
“I want you to know how special you are to me. I love you,” Carson whispered, as he started lathering his hands up with more baby oil to caress her stomach.
“I love you too,” Rachel moaned.
Carson squirted the baby oil on her breasts and rubbed the palms of his hands up and down over her nipples. His touch was so fucking hot. Rachel felt a burning sensation inside of her. She wanted nothing more than to have his cock inside of her. He gripped her hips and moved her down further. He inserted his middle finger inside of her.
“You’re so fucking wet.”
“It’s because I’m a virgin.”
“That’s impossible. We had sex when we were younger,” Carson said with a smirk on his face.
“I’m reborn again.”
“Not for long.”
Carson pulled Rachel to the edge of the bed and tore off his clothes down to his boxers. He knelt on the floor and spread her legs apart.
“I want to taste you,” Carson said as he licked her inner thigh with his tongue. He was moving it around, teasing her. He moved it until he entered her and found her clit. He sucked and licked up and down, over and over again. He even threw a little bit of biting to intensify her pleasure. He stopped and moved his body over hers and made his way to her mouth. He kissed her. She thought she was on fire right then and there.
“Carsy, I need you inside of me right now.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’ve never been so sure in my entire life.”
Carson pulled his boxers off and lifted her legs in the air. He inserted his tip inside of her.
“You want more, sweetie?”
“Yes, I need all of you.”
He entered her a little deeper.
“I want all of you!”
He was thrusting in and out of her, slow and hard. Rachel felt like she could feel him hitting her heart. She never felt anything so amazing in her life. She felt a tear roll down her face. This was where she belonged.
“I love you, Sweetie. I always have and I always will,” Carson said noticing her emotions taking over.
He always knew the right thing to say.
“I love you, Carsy,” she whispered.
He took her mouth into his. She felt an intensity taking over her body. Carson must have felt it as well, because their bodies starting moving together. Rachel screamed out in ecstasy as she released a years’ worth of pent up anger and frustration, but she experienced a sense of calm at the same time. It was the greatest feeling in the world. At the same time, Carson screamed out Rachel’s name holding onto her, never wanting to let her go.
“I want to do that again,” Rachel said trying to catch her breath.
“We have the rest of our lives.”
“Are you staying with me tonight?”
“I’m never letting you go again and I dare anyone to get in my way,” Carson threatened. “You’re mine now.”
Chapter 14
It was a beautiful June morning and Rachel felt so content. She hadn’t felt this way in a really long time. She had an amazing time with Carson. He had left to go to his house to retrieve some clean clothes for work and then he was driving Rachel into work with him. Rachel brewed two steaming cups of hot coffee for the ride.
She waited on the sidewalk for Carson to pick her up. As his shiny new black truck approached, Rachel felt like a teenager all over again. When Carson pulled up, he jumped out of the truck to open the door for Rachel and help her into the truck.
“Mmm, this coffee smells great, but not as good as you,” he said eyeing her up.
“You’re so sweet,” Rachel said as they kissed each other before he took off.
“I can get use to this. I wish this was our routine every morning,” Carson said, as he reached over and grabbed Rachel’s hand.
“Hopefully one day,” She said as she smiled.
“I should probably go into work today and try to get the court date moved up to a sooner date. I know I’m being selfish, but I don’t want to lose you again.”
“I know what I want and that is you. I don’t want Colin and definitely not Vinnie.”
“That’s what I want to hear. I’ll pick you up after work. What time are you getting done?”
“Probably around five-thirty.”
“Great. Meet me on the corner of 18th and Walnut. We can go to this restaurant in Jersey that I know of.”
Rachel kissed him on the lips as she stepped out of the truck, outside of Roberts Communications.
“Sounds great. Love you. I’ll miss you until then,” Rachel proclaimed.
“Love you too, Sweetie. I’ll miss you more.”
“You’re so cute,” she loved making him blush.
Rachel felt so euphoric today. No one could take her out of her good mood. She dropped her bags off in her office and made her way to the kitchen. Brad always had the caterers set up a continental breakfast every morning. Rachel refilled her coffee and grabbed a cheese danish.
As she walked back down the hall, Brad had his door to his office open.
“Hey, sister in law,” he called out.
“Hello to you,” Rachel said with a big smile on her face as she entered his office.
“It’s great to see you happy.”
“Love does that to you,” Rachel proclaimed.
“I know the feeling. Gia makes me feel that way every day.”
“Aww!”
“Your dad was ecstatic to see you with Carson yesterday.”
“I know. He told me I was given a second chance,” Rachel said proudly.
“You deserve happiness. You’re a great person and I’m happy that we came to be friends as well as family.”
“Thanks Brad. It means a lot to me. Any word on my stalker?”
“Gia thinks its Maria. I think it’s someone else. It just doesn’t add up. The video isn’t really clear. All you really see is the blonde hair.”
“Maria would have a reason to stalk me.”
“She would, but you live in South Philly. She could find out her information from anyone. Everyone’s in everybody else’s business. She doesn’t need to stalk you. It will come out eventually.”
“I hope so. I’m going to get to work. I have a busy day. Oh, I meant to ask you, what do you think about Colin and Sheila?”
“May God bless him.”
“Talk to you l
ater,” Rachel said cracking up laughing at Brad’s comment.
Later that day, Genene stopped by Rachel’s office as she was coming back from a meeting.
“Vinnie called. I told him that you were in a meeting.”
“What does he want?”
“He said it’s important. Uh… He also said he will be here soon to talk to you.”
“He’s not going to ruin my mood today. I won’t let him.”
“I’ll let you know when he’s here.”
“Thanks,” Rachel responded sarcastically.
Rachel had to stop this madness with Vinnie once and for all. She was going to give him a piece of her mind and be done forever. She knew Carson was her soul mate. The one person she was destined to be with. An instant message popped up on her screen. It was from Carson.
“Hi sweetie. Miss you.”
“Awww … I was just thinking of you. I miss you too,” Rachel replied.
“I have good news. The court date was moved to next week. I have spoken with Vinnie’s lawyer.”
“So that’s probably why he’s coming here soon. Lovely.”
“Do you need me to come there?”
