The Haunted Island (A Lin Coffin Mystery Book 9) Page 15

by J A Whiting

Lin looked to where Viv thought she’d seen somebody.

William Irons stood under the maple trees, and with his atoms shimmering silver and gold, he smiled and bowed to the cousins, and then slowly disappeared.

“Are you sure someone wasn’t there?” Lin asked Viv with a grin her cousin didn’t notice because she’d started down the hill to the car.

“I’m positive. It was only the light. Let’s go meet Jeff and John at the boat.”

  Lin smiled to herself.

She was pretty sure, that in the future, Viv would still be seeing ghosts ... and helping her solve their mysteries.

  Author’s Note

There is no Canter Island off the coast of Nantucket. It is a fictional place imagined for this story; however, much of the history of the island was influenced by events on Gallops Island in Boston Harbor.

If you do an internet search, you’ll be able to discover the fascinating history of Gallops.
