My name is Greyson Croft…
I ’ve already seen so much killing in my life, and yet I’m willing to wade back into the mess.
Why?
Vegas is mine.
This is my home, and I plan to make sure it stays the way I’ve come to love it.
I came here to make a difference, and despite living behind the badge, the place swallowed me whole. I brought my sweet Emma here to heal, to make a home, and to push her back into the fray as a cop, and now we’re the most hated criminals in Vegas.
The citizenry fears me.
They think I’m on the take.
The mob backs away.
They think I’m a killer.
The cops hate me.
They want me to burn in hell.
I have news for everyone in this city. I’m here to stay. I’m not going anywhere.
Why?
I was forged in the belly of the beast, serving my country all those years ago. They don’t know what hell is, but I do, and it’s about to rain down on all of them.
I will have no mercy.
I won’t even bat an eyelash.
I’ve been pushed too far, and now it’s time to make my mark on the city that never sleeps.
Vegas is my home, and I’ll fight for it. The war may be bloody, but I’ll dive in and fight to the bitter end.
This city will not fall.
The vile element that slithers through the darkened alleys will not claim it as theirs. Vegas is mine, and I will make sure it stays that way.
No matter what.
I’ll go to war against the mob, the cops, and the Devil himself to the very end to make sure that my children, and my children’s children will have a safe place to call home.
I’m making a stand.
My family is too.
We aren’t giving up, no matter what. We know the truth, and who is really out to destroy Vegas.
It’s corrupt because of the law that has promised to protect and serve.

The cops are the problem.
They are running roughshod over this city, shoving out all the good, and filling the void with perversion, filth, and crime. Well, I’m going to stop that.
I’m going to put an end to the insanity with all the force and power I can muster. This city will be safe, or I won’t be standing when it’s done.
I will die for Vegas.
I will bleed for it.
Nothing will stop me.
Before it’s over, this city won’t know what hit it. I’m taking it back, and I’m doing it old school. Back in the days of gangsters and the mob, the crime rate was down. They feared the likes of me, because it meant their death.
Well, I’m back.
Vegas is going to feel my wrath, and the cops who pretend to care about it are about to get one hell of a wakeup call.
They call me dirty.
Well, they haven’t a clue.
By the time I’m done, the shit will have hit the fan, and the last man standing will be the one ruling the kingdom.
I will be that man.
I’m like Robin Hood.
Only, I’m not doing this alone. Me and my merry band of criminals are about to level the playing field for anyone who’s gotten the shaft in ‘Sin City’.
Who are the players in this game?
Well, I’m glad you asked.
Meet the lineup.
Dimitri Gideon, my hired muscle, is going to make the cops shake in their boots. He’s dangerous, and he’s tired of the bullshit that Vegas has been handing out. He’s going to go at them head on, and he’s not going to hold anything back.
Why should he?
They all know who he is.
He’s a killer, and I don’t mean that facetiously. He’s dark, dangerous, and he’s more apt to cut your throat than to bother to negotiate.
With him, I’ll have muscle.
He’s going to use his criminal connections, his felonious friends, and anything in his arsenal to pull our bacon out of the frying pan.
He’s going to do what it takes to get the job done for the family, and he’s not afraid to let everyone know it’s coming.
The law can’t touch him, and he knows it.
That makes him lethal.
He’s my first line of defense.
Who else is on my team?
Up next is none other than my beautiful wife. She was once a damn good cop, forged on the dirty streets of Philadelphia in the guts, blood, and bowel of a dangerous city.
She paid her dues, she did her time, and she’s my right-hand girl. When I need something solved, Emma has my back, and she’s going to be leading the charge. As my wife, and the ‘Queen’, she’s going to rule at my side.
It’s how it should be.
Back in a time long forgotten, Bugsy was only as strong as his babe, and I’m the same way.
She’s smart.
She’s strong.
And she’s got my best interest at heart.
Together, we’ll grow our family, and make sure that Vegas knows the cold hard truth.
We aren’t going anywhere.
We are here to stay.
Forever.
When she steps out, on my arm, they may all be checking out her dress, hair, and jewels, but Emma’s checking them out. When Dimitri can’t be my backup, Emma will be.
And there’s no one I trust more with my life than my kitten. She has claws, and they are lethal.
Next up in the family lineup is my son.
No, Curtis wasn’t born of my blood, but he was forged in my heart.
In life, that’s all that really matters. You can’t pick your blood, but in Vegas, you can pick your family, and I chose him.
I trained him.
I instilled in him the need for justice.
I made him into a mini me—in case I should go down in the fight.
Most importantly, I love him as my own. There is no one else I would trust to protect my wife, and our family if I lose the fight.
No, he’s not only my son, but he’s my protégé, and I couldn’t be more proud.
Curtis has his skills, and we’ll use them to find and root out the wicked that darkens our doorstep.
When you cut off the head of the serpent, six more will appear. I’ve made sure my son, the hacker, is ready to lead the way. Vegas might not see him as my replacement, but Curtis is ready.
We all are.
We’ve vowed to go down swinging.
If he’s forced to take the throne, his fiancée, Katerina Gideon will answer the call. She’s a thief, and damn good at her job. If it needs to be broken into or lifted, she’s the one for the job. While she looks sweet and pregnant on the outside, she’s a killer to her core.
Don’t mess with a pregnant woman.
They’ll take your head right off.
Dimitri Gideon has trained her well, and that will work to our advantage. Not only does she have Curtis’s best interests at heart, but she has ours too.
We trust her with our son’s life, and that is huge. The young man is the only heir to the throne.
Kat isn’t the only one the family has come to call their own. There are more people who round out the team.
A surprising one is an ex-cop.
He’s muscle.
He’s bulk.
And he’s calm in the storm.
If you can’t beat them, join them…
That’s the saying, and Captain Christopher Ford is now on our side. He, too, is a force to be reckoned with. The man ate criminals for breakfast and babysat for a living.
When he has your back, he has it.
Once the law, now he’s the main man who keeps my kitten safe. Without him, I’d be lost. I can’t watch over Emma all the time, but when I’m busy, I know she’ll make it home alive.
He’s valuable to the family.
Chris has signed on to help me rid Vegas of the criminals, and he has the balls to pull it off.
Their loss is the Crofts’ gain.
What makes him so good at his job?
Chris Ford tends to think like a cop, and that makes him lethal. While he loves justice, he loves his family more. Chris would die for us, and in Vegas, that’s what matters.
He’s ready, and so are we.
Dimitri didn’t only give us one sister, but two. We’re doubly blessed to have a second one in our arsenal.
Natasha Gideon is invisible.
She blends in with the surroundings, but she’s always watching. She may look sweet and gentle, but her brother raised her to kill.
And she does at the drop of a hat.
While she may not be as lethal as her brother, the apple still hasn’t fallen far from the tree.
She doesn’t bat an eye when it comes to protecting her clientele or her family. She’s going to make sure the team has backup when they need it the most.
The enemy will fall.
They don’t stand a chance.
That’s not all of the team. There are more that will have my back, and make sure we keep this mission going.
Everyone loves a soldier, and that applies to me too. Only my favorite soldier, other than Dimitri, is my brother. He’s blood, and he has my back.
Dante, he’s ex-military, and he’s keeping this boat afloat. He has one job, and it’s an important one at that.
With each day, he keeps the bank account growing, so we can do what we’re meant to do.
He’s our moneyman, and he’s making sure our endeavors stay on financial track. He’s making the Benjamins so we can help those who can’t help themselves.
Money means nothing to any of us.
But it will buy us some time, some leverage, and plenty of people to add to our army. With the oncoming war, we have no problem with doing it anyway we can.
Legality is a gray area.
We like to live in the dark.
It’s more fun to live on the shadier side of life.
While we look like a
ll muscle, we have the brains behind us too. Doctor Paris Archer, and his wife, Tessa, will always have our backs. When we need them, they’re there to help with any case, big or small.
They’ve been trained by the enemy, and the FBI gave us one hell of a gift when it pushed them aside. They delivered us two people who are loyal to their core.
Their loss, again, is our gain.
We’ll take them and run with it. With Tessa and Paris, they come to the team with the love of justice, and the need to see the project through until the end.
They are my family.
And I am blessed.
Last, but not least, Doctor Steele Bentley rounds out our team, and the family. He, too, worked for the FBI, but after his abduction, he gave it up. Instead of digging in the dead, he gives us all the information we need, when we need it.
He’s an asset.
One we can’t live without.
The team is strong.
The team is ready.
With everyone working together, we are unstoppable.
In fact, we’re a force of nature that the cops in Vegas have never seen before.
We will level the playing field.
We will right the wrongs.
Vegas might be ‘Sin City’, but my band of fallen angels have this under control.
