“Blackwood Forest,” Lloyd said. He could smell the damp earth in the air. Of course Cole would come here. It made sense!
Lloyd knew what he had to do now. One by one, he would approach his friends. And one by one, he would ask them this simple request: Meet me at Master Chen’s Noodle House. Let’s talk.
Would the ninja be willing to listen to him? Would they want to be a team again?
Lloyd wasn’t sure. But strangely, he wasn’t worried. Seeing Jay and finding out where the others were had given him a feeling he hadn’t had in weeks — hope.
The others missed the team as much as he did. He was sure of it.
They’ll come, Lloyd told himself. I know they will. We will be a team once again!
