Sidhe/Seelie- an ancient people who are gifted with powerful gifts; their strength lies in either twilight or dawn. The sun is their helper, but their weakness as well.
Skive- an old crone’s tough hide
Slitherkin- akin to the serpent and its crafty ways
Squidgimied- referring to the nixing of plants, peculiar to the Wenderdowne family nixy

Tuatha- a first people; they were older than the Sidhe or humans. None are certain where they come from, but they were there from the beginning, heroes of the ancient world, men of renown. They seemed gods to normal men. Now most linger as fades. Myrrdin Emrys is one of the last of this ancient people and Jessamiene, the key to bringing them back into the world.
Twixdithers- a wild cat’s backside
Twixwhickers- Twix is a shortened name for a mythical cat like creature that hides in the trees and watches passersby. Its whickers are the curious sound it makes that sound like a child’s wail. No one is certain if it is real or not, thus no one knows its actual size or shape.
Toshed- tossed about from within
Tushmonger- a beggar of affections
U
Umbridged- unhinged, unstable
W
Wight- Tuatha; ancient spirits that are considered neither good nor evil, but work toward some mysterious purpose
