  PROLOGUE

I should have been happy to be alive, but some days a bitch like me often wondered, why the fuck was I here? The bitch who birthed me barely spoke to me and when she did it was always some fucked-up-ass shit. I can’t count how many times she called me a bitch or a whore. When I was younger, I used to cry because I couldn’t understand why my mama was so cruel to me. It was only when I got older I understood that it was because my sperm donor left her ass for another woman. She had become a bitter bitch and I had become her competition.

Shit got worse when she started dating this old, broken-down nigga. From the minute he laid eyes on me, I knew he was up to no good. I tried my best to avoid him because I could tell the nigga was a pervert. I could tell by the way he smiled at me behind Mama’s back.

One day I was sitting outside on the porch, looking at the little kids play next door. I was so wrapped up in my own thoughts that I didn’t see when he crept up on me.

“You look good in those shorts,” he said to me as he licked his crusty black lips and smiled, showing his set of yellow teeth.

“Whatever! You keep on talking like that and I promise I’m gonna tell my mama on yo’ ass for real,” I snapped. I was about tired of his old fifty-something ass coming at me every chance he got. I tried to brush him off, but his behavior had gotten erratic over the past few weeks.

One day it had gotten so bad that he tried to grope me while I walked past him; so I sank my teeth down on his arm with all the strength I had in my body, which caused him to slap the shit out of me. I didn’t flinch but he did let go of my breast.

  “Yo
u’re gonna give me that young, fresh pussy one of these days, you little bitch!” he yelled.

“When hell freezes over.” I rolled my eyes and walked off on him.

I was about tired of him and his eccentric behavior. I walked into the house where Mama was sitting in her favorite chair watching an episode of Criminal Minds. I walked past her, but then turned back around. “Hey, Mama, can I talk to you?”

“Girl, what is it now? You see me watching my show.” She continued staring at the TV.

“Mama, I need to talk to you about Aubrey. He’s been trying to get into my panties for a while now and I’m tired of it.”

“Bitch, what the fuck you just say to me? Is your little dirty ass accusing my man of wanting to fuck your little stinking pussy?” She got up and stared me down.

“Yes, that’s exactly what I’m accusing him of. You think I would make this up?”

“You know, you have always been jealous of me and Aubrey’s relationship, but I never thought you would go so far as to accuse him of wanting you.”

“Accuse me of what?” He walked in smiling.

“Tiana claiming you want to fuck her but, baby, I know the truth. She is the one who wants to fuck you. I think she be hearing when you fucking me at night so she wants to get that same feeling.”

“Mama, really? How can you sit there and accuse me of wanting that bastard? I’m your fucking daughter!” The tears welled up in my eyes as I pleaded with my mama.

“Get the hell out of here and stay the fuck away from him. You hear me, you little fast bitch!” she spat in the coldest tone.

The walls around me started spinning as anxiety kicked in. I couldn’t believe the bitch who birthed me would sit up and accuse me of wanting her no-good-ass nigga. The tears continued to flow as I looked at my mama, shook my head, and walked away. I slammed my room door and crawled under my covers. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. All I knew was I had to get away from here and that sick-ass bitch!

  CHAPTER ONE

  Tiana

People say your past shouldn’t dictate your future, but the shit that I had been through definitely molded me to become the person I was today. After that dumbass bitch chose her man over me, I made a mental note to become my own protector by any means necessary.

I learned early on that if I wanted something in life, I had to go after it. A bitch like myself wanted more out of life than most of these other bitches and I was willing to go the extra mile to get it. Call me cutthroat or grimy, but what a person would never call me was a broke bitch.

Days after that shit happened, I packed my bags with the few pieces of clothing that I owned and the $200 that I had saved up. I looked over at the bitch snoring on the couch and tiptoed past her, careful not to wake her up. I closed the door behind me and ran down the driveway. She must’ve heard me because I heard her hollering, “Tiana, bring yo’ ass back here.”

I didn’t look back; instead, I ran all the way to my homegirl’s house. See, Ayana and I had been friends since kindergarten and we were like sisters. She was a year older than me and because of that she had always acted like my big sister. I’m not going to lie; I enjoyed being the youngest.

Life at Ayana’s house was the opposite of what I was used to. Her mother was real laidback and never really bothered us, unless she wanted us to run to the store to grab her lotto tickets. Needless to say she acted like a mother to me, unlike the bitch who birthed me.

It didn’t take long for me to adapt to my new environment. It was then that I learned that I had to grow up and use the one thing that God had blessed me with: a tight-ass pussy. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t no ho; but I refused to be hungry and go without when I had something in between my legs that could feed and clothe me.

I wasn’t one of these skinny bitches walking around. Matter of fact, I was a little on the heavy side but I had a fat ass that made niggas drool every time I walked by. I damn sure thought I was one of the baddest bitches to ever walk the streets of Decatur, Georgia. I wasn’t attracted to them little broke-ass niggas running around looking for pussy. I wanted a grown-ass man who could take care of me and who made sure I was set. The thing about older niggas was that they would pay for a young piece of pussy especially if you sucking and fucking them the right way. I swear I was blessed with a nice mouthpiece. I would suck a nigga dick ’til his eyes rolled to the back of his head and toes curled up. I ain’t bragging but Superhead ain’t got shit on me.

Things had changed drastically for me. I was no longer broke, and being hungry was a thing of the past. I wasn’t in love with the niggas I fucked; I just pretended that I liked them enough to make them spend that dough on me. I was cool when they called me their girlfriend or bae to their friends. As long as my pockets stayed on swole, I’d be whatever they wanted me to be.

Even though these niggas were lacing me with their dough, I wasn’t no fool. Good pussy will only take you so far and I didn’t want to be an old bitch with nothing to show for it.

It was also time to get up out of these people’s house. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I ain’t ungrateful or anything, but the older we got the more I kind of sensed that Ayana didn’t like having me around as much anymore.

On my eighteenth birthday I decided to get my own one-bedroom apartment. I had more than enough money saved up from tricking off them niggas. A few months later, I decided to go back to school and get my GED. I wanted to go to college one day to be a psychologist and I knew in order to do that I had to get my shit in order. I simply grew up and got on my grown woman shit!

  CHAPTER TWO

  Tiana

I don’t believe in coincidences, and I think it was fate that intervened when I met Micah. It was my first year in college and he was a sophomore. I kind of knew he was digging me by the way he would stare at me in our English class. I’m not going to lie, I was really digging him too, but I played it cool. I didn’t want to come off as being thirsty. God knows I wasn’t trying to rush into anything; after all, I had just broken up with my last boyfriend, Lucas. I broke it off with him because I was tired of him trying to fuck me in the ass. Don’t get me wrong, I liked it in the booty every once in a while, but that every night shit kind of turned me off. It made me wonder if the nigga was a little fruity.

“Miss Caldwell, are you with us?” my instructor asked as he interrupted my deep thoughts.

“I’m sorry sir, I got lost in thoughts.” I smiled at him.

I glanced back and saw that Micah was staring at me. I felt a little embarrassed that the instructor called me out like that. For weeks, Micah had been asking me out. I politely turned him down twice but he never gave up. I have to say he was very persistent. I love a man who knows what he wants so I decided to take him up on his offer.

  * * *

I heard a car horn honk. I peeped out my window and noticed that he was parked outside. Shit, this nigga act like he can’t come to the door to get me, I thought as I took another look at myself in the mirror and admired myself one last time. I wasn’t no skinny chick, but I had enough meat on my body for the right nigga to grab on to. I grabbed my Michael Kors clutch and sashayed out the door.

I couldn’t help but notice his shiny orange Charger. He got out as I approached the car and he greeted me with a hug. “Damn, babe, you look stunning and you smell good. Make a nigga want to tear your clothes off right out here in the parking lot.”

“Oh, my. Thank you. I’m not sure if that was a compliment, but thanks anyways,” I said as I got into the car and put on my seat belt.

The car smelled like brand new leather and was well kept. I lay back in my seat as he drove down the street with Jeezy blasting through his speakers. I glanced over at him as he bobbed his head to the trap music. I admired his facial features; homeboy was neatly groomed, and his skin tone was velvet dark but smooth like a newborn baby’s ass.

He took me to Red Lobster, which wasn’t where I really wanted to go, but I went along anyway. See, most chicks would be impress
ed to go on a date to Red Lobster, but not I. Red Lobster to me was like the hood deli, where all the hoodrat chicks hung out.

After waiting for about forty-five minutes, we were served our food. I ordered the seafood platter while he ordered steak. While we ate my mind was wandering all around. I couldn’t help but imagine his strong, muscular hands rubbing down my thighs. Maybe it was the way he was eating that steak that made me imagine him eating my pussy.

“So, Miss Tiana. Do you have a man?”

“Hmm, Mr. Micah. Do you have a woman?”

“I see you want to play games. This is it right here: your man ain’t here and my woman ain’t here so I guess we’re single.” He smiled.

I didn’t respond. I smiled and went back eating my food. When we were finished, he paid the bill and we left.

“So what are your plans for the rest of the night, love?”

“I don’t have any. I think I might study a little until I doze off.”

“Damn, on a Friday night? You must not have many friends out here. By the way, where are you from? You have a little bit of accent.”

“What you mean? I was born and raised here in Decatur. What, you thought I was a foreigner?” I asked sarcastically.

“Now that you mention it, you do look kind of exotic.” He laughed.

“Georgia is my birthplace. I am a Grady baby, to be exact.”

“I see. Well, Baltimore, Maryland, is home for me. Mom-dukes decided to move out here after my oldest brother got killed.” A sad expression was plastered across his face.

  “I’m sorry to hear that.”

“Nah, it ain’t no biggie. Enough of that though. I’m trying to get to know you a little bit more.”

“Do you mean you looking to get some pussy? ’Cause if that’s all you want, you looking at the wrong chick.” I stared him down.

“Nah, it ain’t even like that. I really like you. From the first day I laid eyes on you, I knew I was gonna make you mine,” he boasted.
