The Imdiko sounded amused. “Fuck him, Shalia. Nice and slow.”
I braced my hands against Oses’s thick, scarred thighs. I did as I was commanded, raising my hips to encourage Oses to slide deliciously through me. The instant he was in danger of slipping out I sank down, enveloping him once more. Oh, the friction of all that thickness against my G-spot! Even at that deliberate pace it made my guts ripple with excitement. I bit my lip and kept going.
Oses’s roughened fingers settled on either side of my crack. He spread my cheeks apart to better watch me take him over and over. His groan vibrated the air. “Fuck,” came his hoarse whisper.
“A little faster now,” Betra urged. “Steady pace.”
Oh yes. I fucked the Nobek, directed by the other man’s whims. The length of his smaller cock rubbed continuously against the sweetest spot at the front of my female sheath. My insides were melting from it. Tremors shook my arms, but I kept pumping my hips over Oses, making him gasp louder with each breath.
“Just a bit faster. Fuck him. Fuck him, Shalia.”
I pistoned up and down, my breasts shuddering as I added force to the taking. Curls of bliss rose through my core. Oses moved beneath me, his hips rising to greet my downward plunges. We met with loud smacks, the force sending echoes of exhilaration running up my spine.
“Faster. Fuck him hard, Shalia. Make him come for us.”
I bounced atop Oses, moving as quickly and forcefully as I could. In contrast, climax shattered through my gut in slow motion. The initial impact started down somewhere below and behind my navel. Then it bloomed outward, an explosive detonation spraying throughout my lower body. Like a chain reaction it rippled further, sending swells of warm delight into my chest, my throat, my skull. Then came the aftershock, a second blast almost as big as the first.
More tremors came. Oses erupted in their midst, his roar of completion eclipsing my thinner cries. Through it all I continued to ride him, eliciting continuing bursts of pleasure from both of us.
At last the heaving cataclysms slowed, receding into gentler undulations. I slowed with them, riding the quieting tide as we sighed our joy.
Oses paid me the big compliment. He sprawled on my bed, his arms flung out to the sides, glazed eyes staring up at the ceiling. “Let me die now. I want no more from this life,” he announced.
“So happy to have been of service,” I giggled.
August 25
In the company of Katrina and Candy, I emerged from Resan’s training room ready to punch someone. Okay, ready to punch Resan. There was no particular basis for my ire except he gets under my skin. All I have to do is spy that bastard’s sneer, and I want to commit crimes against him. Crimes that leave him in big, bloody chunks.
I hate that man.
Katrina winked at me as she went in the direction of the ship’s officers’ wing, where she’s setting up housekeeping with her clan. “Just remember, he’ll be dead someday.”
“Unfortunately, I probably won’t be around to enjoy it,” I groused, but I granted her a smile. Working out was done for the day. I wouldn’t have to look at him again until tomorrow, and I had plans with Oses and Betra tonight. Live for the moment, that’s my motto.
Candy grinned at me. “You have to give him some credit, Shalia. Check this out.” She flexed her arm, showing off a toned upper arm. Impressive.
“All I’m giving him is a swift kick up the ass.” I kept my voice light. “You are gaining some amazing results. Looking good, woman.”
“You too. Resan’s a shithole, but it’s paying off.”
As we rounded the corner, we nearly walked into Oses. He instantly went into an attack stance. Without hesitation, Candy and I crouched with our bodies bladed and fists up. I didn’t even have to think about it.
Oses straightened with an approving smile. “Excellent. Finished with today’s training?”
We nodded. “Blades tomorrow,” I told him.
“How’s that offensive reach issue going? Did you hear from Nobek Larten yet?”
“I’m hoping to receive a message today.”
Candy offered a wave to excuse herself. “I have to hit the shower before Ama and Mihi show up. See you two later.”
Oses gave her a quick short bow as she moved along. He set his attention on me. I stilled as a frown crossed his face.
“Did I give you that during practice today?” He grabbed my arm to puzzle over a big bruise darkening my wrist. “Or maybe during yesterday’s more exciting activities?”
I snickered at the gleam in his eye. “No and no. The only marks you left were on my butt, and they faded already. This came from Dramok Ass-of-the-Universe. He didn’t like how I held the grav-bell. Apparently, my form left a lot to be desired.”
I swear my heart stopped beating for an instant at the deadly look on Oses’s face. In a voice that would freeze Satan’s pecker off, he growled, “Resan did this?”
Did I have to defend the man I despised above all others? The temptation to let Oses slaughter Resan was almost too much to resist. Then again, I didn’t want Oses in trouble over that waste of skin.
“It was an accident. He said he didn’t intend to grab me that hard, and I believe him.” I snorted and then grinned. “I think he almost apologized. That flustered him. Before he could stop himself, Resan explained he’d momentarily forgotten that I wasn’t just another stupid, ugly Nobek he was forced to train.”
Oses relaxed. His justification to pound Resan to a pulp was gone. He knew I’d love to find any reason not to defend my antagonist.
A smile quirked a corner of his lips. “He forgot you weren’t a Nobek? That’s a hell of a compliment.”
I laughed. “No kidding. I thought he’d choke when he realized what he’d admitted. An apology would have been less embarrassing.” I shrugged the matter off. “My hand-to-hand work with you has resulted in a few marks of honor too. Am I crying over them?”
Oses measured me with his gaze. I warmed at the pride shining in his eyes. “You have come a long way in a short while, Shalia. I might still warn Resan that if he leaves another bruise on you, I’ll leave several on him.”
Hmm, my form might suffer a lot tomorrow. I sense clumsiness coming on.
I went to Betra’s office to fetch Anrel. There was a crowd of giggling, cooing women gathered at his door. They let me through, laughing when I asked, “What’s going on?”
I found out quick enough. Betra lay on the office floor, holding Anrel up in the air and swooping her down so he could kiss her nose. Every time he made her dive, she erupted in a stream of bubbly giggles and squeals that was too precious for a mortal to withstand. Oh my gosh, I love to hear her laugh.
Betra grinned up at me as I laughed too. “Darn, your mom is here. I guess that means I have to go to work.”
The other ladies booed me. I heard calls of, “Go away, Shalia,” and “Party pooper”.
“Sheesh, feeling the love.” I pretended hurt. “Excuse me for wanting a minute with my kid.”
That earned good-natured laughter. Betra shot me an appealing look. “Wouldn’t you like to take a few minutes for a shower? Anrel’s wide awake, and I’m sure she won’t settle down for quite a while.”
“And you’ll keep playing with her and ditching duty out of the goodness of your heart,” I snorted, but I hoped Betra was serious. After exercising with both Oses and Shithead that morning, I was pretty ripe.
“We have to make our sacrifices.” Betra exaggerated bravery. He swooped Anrel in the air again, setting off too-adorable laughter once more.
“Bring her to me in twenty minutes.”
“Or thirty. Maybe an hour.” He earned cheers from the doting onlookers who couldn’t get enough of Anrel’s cuteness. I wanted to stick around and watch Betra play with her too, but when else would I have a chance to shower in peace?
I walked off. “Jeez, Betra. Does the fleet know how little work they pay for?”
It was just as well I had extra time to myself. I discovere
d Larten had left me a message when I reached my quarters.
The dark, dangerous face of the Nobek wore a grumpy expression when I played his video. “Matara Shalia, I received your message regarding your difficulties with blade training. I agree it would be difficult for you to make a frontal attack on a much larger enemy. Therefore, I insist you grow longer arms.”
He winked, and a slow smile spread across his handsome visage. “Goofball,” I told the recording with affection. “I’d like to give you a frontal attack.”
He showed me a couple of variations on how to duck down low and lunge at an imaginary foe with a knife. The first round I watched him, I was too mesmerized by his graceful, fluid motions to take note of what I was supposed to do. He wore the shortest shorts I’ve ever seen on a man. Oh my gosh. My eyes crossed at how his muscles rippled on that dark body. The agile elegance of his attack was more ballet than combat. Larten was heart-stopping gorgeous as he instructed me.
The vid ended and I shook myself free of the spell. “Whoa,” I croaked. “Better than porn.”
I grabbed my knife and replayed the message. Somehow, I listened to his instructions. I tried the moves he demonstrated, though I was considerably clumsier. “How do you move so gracefully?” I asked the lethal man who couldn’t hear me. “Jeez, talk about limber. I’m going to have to stretch an extra hour a day.”
I kept at it despite my obvious shortcomings and slowly got better. Then I realized I needed to shower while I didn’t have a baby to mind. I sent a copy of the training to Nobek Idow for our practice tomorrow and quickly cleaned up.
I’d just dressed when Betra showed up with Anrel. She gurgled at me. “Thanks, Betra.”
He pecked us both on the cheeks. “My pleasure. Is Tep’s clan keeping her tonight?”
“Last I heard.”
“Great. See you then, if not before.”
I was ready for mommy-daughter time, but Betra had tired Anrel out with the playing. She was asleep less than five minutes after he left. Darn him.
Betra is not the only Anrel hog around here. Tep came straight from his shift to claim her for babysitting tonight.
“For heaven’s sake Doc, I told you an hour from now,” I said when I answered the door.
“Why shouldn’t I pick her up on my way to my quarters?” Tep beamed. He reached to take her out of my arms. “Hello, lovely girl! You haven’t forgotten me yet, have you?”
I sighed and gave her up. It wasn’t only me who wanted to wring every drop of making memories these last few weeks of our journey. I was pretty sure I wouldn’t enjoy more than a couple hours at a stretch with my baby until we departed the transport for good.
“Are you still dating Megan, or have you moved on to your next conquest yet?” I teased Tep as I packed Anrel’s diaper bag.
He made a face at me. “She’ll be helping us babysit tonight. And I’ll have you know that it’s the women who move on, not us.”
“Is that so?” I knew the score about Tep and his clan, but I couldn’t resist kidding with him.
He sighed, adopting the attitude of a martyr. “I feel like a test subject. ‘Hi Imdiko Tep, I’m here to collect a sample of you.’ A couple of weeks later, they’re on to the next experiment.”
I had to laugh. “Poor thing. Most of the girls are kids in a candy store. They can’t help but try all the flavors.”
He shrugged, his grin wide. “I don’t mind. When a lady starts looking around for something new, there’s usually another ready to let my clan to satisfy her curiosity.”
I’ve recently found out that Tep is hilarious when he’s outside of Medical. Wasn’t I shocked to discover what a charmer he is with the gals on board! He and his clanmates are handsome enough to attract their share of interest, all right. They are also one of the few full clans on the Pussy ‘Porter. The women newly awakened to their sexuality have to give them a try.
“I hear you’ll have another round of evacuating lonely Earther maidens after this trip.” I handed Tep the diaper bag. “My door remains keyed for you to come in as needed.”
“Thanks. Yes, my clan is already planning on gifts to stock up on for the sweet ladies we’ll meet when we return to Earth.”
“Rogues. You three have no shame.”
He waggled his brows at me. “We want to cure all the Earther females of their shame if we can.”
“All of them? You really are scoundrels. I should send warnings to the rescue sites about your clan.”
Tep snickered. Then Anrel burbled a happy sound, and he went from scalawag to doting uncle in an instant.
“Oh, you’re the best girl of them all. No one can compare, sweetling. Not in the whole universe.” He left, continuing to talk in goofy, besotted tones as Anrel yanked enthusiastically on his ponytail.
Yes, the amazing no-nonsense doctor who is all business in Medical is an out-and-out scoundrel when he’s off the clock. It’s good he can let loose and have fun.
With Anrel gone early, I had plenty of time to get ready for my night out with my own pair of rogues. I was still chuckling over the mischievous Tep when Betra and Oses walked in.
Oses was in uniform, since it was the nicest clothing he owns. He’s not a going-out-to-dinner kind of guy. Betra wore a silky blue-gray shirt on with white trousers. He looks delicious no matter what he wears.
I wore a slightly daring dress. Daring for me, since I’m self-conscious about my body. That bit of post-pregnancy tummy doesn’t want to leave. I can’t complain though. If I’d gone full term, I’d be a good deal farther behind in the game. What little bulge remains was camouflaged by the fabric of my dress crisscrossing over it.
The pink dress I wore went to mid-thigh, showing more leg than I typically do. The truly scandalous part was the keyhole opening between my breasts, which showed their inner curves. Hello boobs. Enjoy getting partially out and about.
Oses and Betra were happy to encounter them. After a few seconds of their silent stares, I waved my hands next to my head. “Eyes up here, boys.”
They were unabashed in their appreciation of the cleavage. “Oh look, Oses. She has a nice face too.” Betra snickered.
The Nobek snorted. “If you say so. I’m sure I’ll notice it eventually. I bet I can fit my head in that hole in your dress. You should let me try.”
I shook my fist at him. “Not before coffee and dessert, you lout.”
He finally looked up and winked. “You look stunning, pet. As usual.” He gave me a gentle kiss.
I received another nice kiss from Betra, and we left my quarters.
As usual, Betra had made all the arrangements. The man is a natural at romantic dates, and this was no exception. I admit to having my doubts when we entered the ship’s cargo area, but that was quickly allayed when we walked into a bay.
I gasped at the large aquariums everywhere. When I say large, I mean huge. Many were empty, but half a dozen contained swimming critters. Those were lit, turning the water that filled them blue, the same as an aquarium back home.
The dining room occasionally serves up seafood for our meals, but it hadn’t occurred to me to wonder if it was fresh or flash frozen. Here was my answer. I’m no marine life expert, so I didn’t recognize most of the species. I saw big fish, smaller fish, drab fish, colorful fish. I saw crabs, lobsters, and other shelled things.
A low table surrounded by seating cushions and set for three had been set up in a corner, where it was surrounded on two sides by the tanks. Betra had gone all out. There were flowers and a large bottle of shel on the table.
I applauded the setup. “This is a great place! What a terrific idea.”
He looked happy at my approval. “It would have been better if I’d thought of this months ago, when all the tanks were full.”
Oses peered at the amazing sea life swimming around. He chortled as a big fish caught a smaller one and chowed down right in front of him. “Stunning.”
Betra laughed as he guided me to my seat, making sure I faced the tanks. “I hear
we lost half the stock that way. No one knew what ate what. They have yet to figure it out in most cases.”
“Big fish eat little fish,” was my verdict. “To me, that would be the basic rule of thumb. Are we going to devour their brothers in front of them?”
“Just the lobsters. And ronka steaks. It’s – what did she call it? Surf and turf.” Betra turned to the small portable warmer that must have come from the kitchen. “I got the idea from Katrina when I asked for romantic dinner suggestions.”
“I haven’t tried lobster.” Oses frowned slightly as I took the lid off the tray Betra gave me. “It looks buggy to me. All those legs.”
“They taste better than they look,” Betra told him.
