Decadent Delights Page 15

“I’ll send some of my staff over here later today to get the store in shape. If you need more supplies, we’ll call in an order this morning and you’ll have the stock by tomorrow. Before you know it, you’ll be up and running again.”

Tears flowed freely down her cheeks and she kissed him. She acknowledged the truth of her own feelings. This was not just another man in her life; this was the man for her. He was showing her that he was someone she could count on, someone who would be there for her.

“Once you’re open, I’ll send one of my cashiers over during the day to ring up sales so you can spend time back here making candy. Then you’ll have your evenings free to merge with me, sexually. What do you think?” He bounced his hips up and down against her mound, which caused his cock to stir back to life. She liked how he was ready to begin again.

“Hmm. It just might work. I certainly could use a little help in the front. Are you sure it wouldn’t interfere with your operation?”

“Absolutely. My staff is very cooperative and if I told them that this is a business opportunity, they will be more than willing to help. Also,” he propped his hand on the wall behind her and looked directly in her eyes, “I’ll carry some of your inventory in my store and you can carry some of mine here. We both have different items. That way, we can advertise for one another. We’ll cover both ends of town.”

Dana smiled. “You’d do that for me, a competitor?”

He picked up her hand and kissed her palm. “Yes. But we wouldn’t be competitors anymore. We’d be partners. So, what do you say?”

“Hmm,” she said, running her hand through his hair. She could spend hours just admiring how it fell back into place. It seemed like they were not only going to be partners in bed, but business partners. She liked the thought. It would be nice to have someone as devoted to making her business thrive as she. “Would we keep the store name or change it?”

“It’s up to you, whatever you prefer. However, we could merge the two names together. What do you think about ‘Decadent Treasures’?”

“It has a nice ring to it. I like it.”

  “Then you agree?”

“Only if you promise to make love to me all the time just like you did here.”

He pulled her into his arms and kissed her soundly. She purred against him like a cat being stroked. Her dreams were all coming true and she couldn’t be happier.

“That’s the sweetest deal I’ve ever agreed to, partner. Oh, by the way, I’m still interested in a three-way with another woman. Because I have to admit, that dream of yours has given me some very nice fantasies.”

“Trevor!” She smacked his arm and giggled against him. Oh, life was going to be one sweet treat!

  About the Author

Gail DeYoung has had a love affair with books since she was a little girl. She was hooked when she discovered that stories could take her to amazing worlds where heroes and heroines could tackle insurmountable odds, yet live happily ever after. She admits to loving books more than food, and yet if you tasted her home cooking, you’d swear she’d make a fabulous chef if she pursued that career. But her writing ranks up there with a few other things that she loves and make her smile—her two amazing children, two furry Siamese cats and three tanks of exotic fish.

Gail’s overactive imagination always questions “what if” and she often daydreams about scenarios for her next story. Living in South Florida was a dream that she fulfilled. For the past thirty years, the balmy breezes, palm trees and surf crashing upon the shoreline have satisfied her soul, and they often show up as settings in her stories.

She used to say said she’d try anything once, but that was before someone suggested sky diving, mountain climbing, swimming with sharks and bungee jumping. Nowadays she prefers the comfort of her chair in front of the computer, where the most dangerous thing she faces is writer’s block. She lets her characters tackle the impossible challenges and all she has to do is make sure they have a happy ending. She welcomes readers to explore the fantastic world of her imagination where anything is possible and most likely will happen.
