Tayen smiled at Caleb and then turned to the young man next to her. “We are also looking for leather wristbands. I need another pair of pants and a bag that fits on the back of a motorcycle. Black leather though, for the bike. Brown is for riding horses.”
The man grinned. “I can do all of that.” He glanced around. Seeing that Alissa had disappeared, he made a confession. “Part of our salary is commission, and I absolutely adore both of you right now.”

Tayen was laughing when she let Caleb into her home. She liked thinking of the penthouse as her home and would do so for quite a while. Life with David had always treated her well.
“See,” Tayen smiled, “my bad attitude wasn’t that offensive.”
“You didn’t offend me at all, Tayen,” Caleb said following her and closing the door.
“I’ll be right back,” Tayen said and ran her bags upstairs. She sniffed deeply into the bags before leaving her room. She loved the smell of leather but was saddened that her room was still so empty.
Tayen ran back downstairs and found Caleb sitting at the kitchen island. David was on the phone and jotting down something on a piece of paper.
“No.” David was serious. “I can be there at nine. Just four hours though, I have to pick someone up at the airport at two.”
Tayen tensed. She was getting ditched. David promised that he would take her shopping for her bedroom things tomorrow. She didn’t know Omaha, and if David was taking a last-minute job, he wouldn’t be able to help her. The holiday weekend meant that she may not have a place to sleep until Monday or Tuesday. She brought her hands to her face and was about to bite her nails when David snapped his fingers at her.
Tayen realized she had made a mistake and put her hands back down by her sides. Caleb watched as David flashed a hand signal at Tayen. It looked like sign language. First a letter S then a letter N. Tayen kept her hands at her sides and displayed three fingers on each hand. David flashed an H and raised his eyebrows. Tayen shook her head no and took a deep breath. David flashed an L, and Tayen nodded, releasing her breath.
“Can you hold one moment?” David asked the person on the phone and hit the mute button before receiving an answer. Then he turned to Caleb. “Caleb, would you mind showing Tayen the workout area on the seventh floor and maybe the roof area? I’ll be about twenty minutes.”
Caleb nodded and looked at Tayen.
“Thank you, sir,” Tayen said. Her voice was cordial and polite, but once again the emotion had slipped behind some impossibly thick wall.
When the door shut behind them, Caleb decided to go for it. He pulled out the Dom that had been barely concealing itself all afternoon.
“What is SN?” he asked, his voice commanding but gentle.
Tayen looked at him as he took her hand.
“You got that, huh?” she said. Caleb nodded his head and said nothing. He could wait her out. Finally she sighed. “It means ‘show numbers.’ Like on a scale of one to ten. It can be anything. Uncomfortable, worried, scared, nervous, angry, pissed. David always said it’s how much emotion I’m defending in my tepee.”
“Is he racist?” Caleb asked, and Tayen shook her head.
“Not at all. I call him paleface all the time,” Tayen admitted. “If he was to say it when he was mad at me, then it would be different, but we use teasing each other as a way to lighten the mood. We have a weird way with inappropriate humor.”
“So why a six?” Caleb asked as they reached the elevator.
“David’s taking a job,” Tayen replied. “Sean flies in tomorrow at two, and then…I don’t have a bed, dressers, computer, table, television, nothing. David was going to take me shopping tomorrow, but if he takes the job he can’t. I’m not being a great big papoose here. I just don’t know where to start. I don’t know Omaha. I kind of freaked. I really like having my own room and my own things. I didn’t have a lot of things I could call my own when I was growing up.”
“Papoose?”
“Indian baby.” Tayen finally smiled a little as they exited the elevator on the seventh floor.
“The H?” Caleb asked.
“High protocol.” Tayen sighed. “If I’m a five to seven, David will ask if I want high protocol, which basically means that it’s a total TPE until I’m under a five. So he would’ve had me kneel at his feet as he continued the conversation, or had me sit at the island until he was finished, but he would’ve stroked my hair, held my hands, and kept his eyes on me at all times until the conversation was over, or he may have ended the conversation immediately.”
“The L must be low protocol,” Caleb said.
Tayen nodded. “It means that I’m working through it, I trust him, won’t go higher than a seven, and am okay to be alone without constant focus.” Tayen looked at Caleb. “You can still run for the fuckin’ hills if you want to.”
“I want you in H all to myself,” Caleb said. He watched Tayen reach for her abdomen and exhale. Some of the emotion was back, and she smiled up at him.
“I’m screwed up,” Tayen admitted. “I feel like an engine that’s been rebuilt one too many times. There are always some pieces that somehow don’t get replaced after a rebuild. Sometimes I wonder how many times a rebuild can happen before the thing just doesn’t run anymore.”
“Well then place me on the shelf as being previously rebuilt. I’ll sit next to you,” Caleb replied, bending to her, his hair brushing across her face as he kissed her temple.
A little more emotion showed in Tayen’s smile.
“Where are you now?” Caleb asked. Tayen showed four fingers. “What if I said that I am available to take you shopping tomorrow? Could you trust me to keep you safe? Secure?”
Tayen glanced at him. “You’re serious?” Caleb nodded. “Then if David trusts you, I trust you as well. I would like that very much.”
“Numbers?” Caleb asked. Tayen flashed a one. Caleb let that go. She didn’t know him, so a one was better than he had expected. His Dominant side was at full attention.
They entered the gym, and the first thing Tayen noticed was the punching bag in the corner of the room. Then the huge indoor pool. Finally she looked at the free weights, and Caleb noticed that none of machines really caught her eye.
“David’s partner doesn’t live with him?” Caleb asked as he let Tayen explore the area.
“No.” Tayen laughed. “Sean is submissive, yes, but only in the bedroom. If David was to tell him what he was to wear…” Tayen trailed off. “They tried it once. Sean and David lived together once. Right before Sean left he looked at me and said that he didn’t know how I could live like that.”
Tayen continued, “I couldn’t understand how Sean didn’t want to live like that. I’ve been in control of nearly everything since I was eight, so handing over control just works for me. David was out of control most of his life, and having control now means so much to him.”
Caleb nodded, knowing the feeling. “Continue please,” he requested.
“I lived with David through college.” Tayen smiled and looked at Caleb. His heart melted. “That’s where he met Sean. I introduced them our last year. Well, my last year of school, David was finished and Sean had a year of residency to go. Sean is an OB-GYN, by the way. There’s some irony for you. A gay guy that looks at pussy all day.” Tayen’s deep, throaty laughter echoed through the empty gym.
“The relationship was fine until Sean moved in,” Tayen said, frowning. “However, that is another problem I solved. I suggested that there was nothing wrong with the relationship before Sean moved in. I give David what he needs during the day but can’t in the bedroom. It’d be like sleeping with a brother, which is disgusting. However, Sean can give David what he needs in that area.”
Tayen kicked a foot at the bunching bag. “Sean’s moving back. He has a fantastic job offer, but for their relationship to continue to work, he can’t live with David. David picked Omaha because none of us have ties here. None of us have even been here before. David moved here six mo
nths ago anticipating my divorce, and Sean already had an offer here. It was kind of a win-win situation for us three stooges.”
“What about your needs?” Caleb asked. He was referring to the bedroom, not the living situation, and Tayen knew it. She could feel herself blushing.
“Those needs,” Tayen whispered, forcing herself to look Caleb in the eyes, “have not been met in a very, very long time.”
Caleb’s Dominant exploded, and he pinned Tayen against the wall. He kissed her lips softly while grinding his hard-on against her pelvis. Her soft moan made him harder, and he cupped his hands behind her ass, lifting her off her feet, pinning her to the wall with the weight of his chest. He slid one finger against her panties, and she panted against his touch.
“Caleb?” Tayen breathed as he swirled one finger against her hot flesh. “I…”
“Not the right place?” Caleb asked as he slid his one finger into her wetness. She moaned, losing whatever argument she had meant to start. A second finger gently followed the first, and Tayen ground against both. “Don’t move, baby.”
Caleb felt pre-cum drip from his hardened cock when Tayen stopped moving and stayed still, her body shaking with need, pinned against the wall, obeying, serving, pleasing. She had soft whiskers on her pussy. She probably hadn’t shaved or waxed in four days, and then Caleb remembered that she had been on the road for about that amount of time. So she had kept herself soft and smooth even though she hadn’t been actively dating. That said something about her need to be pleasing in any situation.
“How long has it been?” Caleb asked.
Caleb’s fingers started at an exploratory pace but soon found that she had two points that were unbelievably sensitive. One was located at the very front of her vaginal wall, hidden behind her pelvic bone. He thought of the angle his penis would have to take to hit that spot and felt his balls sag, full and heavy.
“Since I got off or had sex?” Tayen breathed. Her brown eyes were glazed, but she was trying to focus on Caleb instead of her rising need.
The second spot that was ultra-sensitive was her entire back wall. It seemed like it triggered her firm ass to clench in his hands. Caleb wondered if she had ever had anal sex before, and the thought of helping her explore that side of her sexuality nearly had his hard cock ripping through his pants.
“Since you got off with someone else touching you in any way,” Caleb answered. Anyone who hadn’t been able to get her off probably couldn’t hit the broad side of barn. She was extraordinarily responsive, and even in the missionary position a three inch penis would have been able to stroke that back wall.
“Almost a year. That’s when the cheating started and he lost my trust,” Tayen admitted. “I just…you know…did it myself after that.”
Tayen’s honesty, her responsiveness, and complete submission were killing Caleb. He wanted to sink his cock so far into her that she screamed his name and forgot her own. He rubbed his thumb against her clit. It was already swollen, and her shaking increased as his pace quickened. His angle was perfect, and with her feet not touching the ground, the only thing she could do was keep her hands wrapped around his neck. She smelled like exotic incense and a deeper, darker fragrance that he just couldn’t place. It mixed with her body and made her arousal smell sweet and tangy, like a green apple just before it was only sweet and ready for picking. When Caleb had more time he planned on tasting that sweetness until she begged for him to stop.
“Keep your eyes open, Tayen, and look at me.” Caleb stroked his fingers through her folds before plunging the two back inside. He kept the quick pace on her clit. This wasn’t the time for hours of taking his sweet time with her body. He just wanted some of her tension gone. Her pussy clenched tightly, and he whispered, “You can come for me, Tayen.”
She clenched her jaw tightly, not wanting to moan. In this room the echo of her moan would be heard all the way to the first floor. Caleb pressed his lips to hers, and then she exploded. The white, blinding light hit the back of her eyes, and she struggled to keep them open and focused on Caleb. The lust in his eyes was brutal as he slowed his pace but took time to milk her now tender insides for every last spasm.
Caleb lowered Tayen back to her feet and stood there, holding her until her legs stopped shaking. “I’ve been thinking of doing that since you got out of your car in the parking lot,” Caleb said, his voice husky. A need of his had been fulfilled, and he didn’t feel the sexual pressure as acutely as he had before.
“You were in the garage?” Tayen asked. “I didn’t see you.”
“I was in my car being voyeuristic,” Caleb admitted.
“Something to keep in mind for the future.” Tayen smiled and winked.
“It’s been twenty minutes,” Caleb reminded her. “David will be waiting.”
Tayen knotted her hands together as they got in the elevator. “What’s wrong?” Caleb asked, searching her eyes, watching her body movements intensely.
“You didn’t get anything out of that.” Tayen frowned.
“Have you ever been in a sexual relationship with a Dominant?” Caleb asked. This was interesting. If she had been in any sexually submissive relationship, she wouldn’t have said anything about the finger fuck in the gym.
“I thought that my ex might have been, but then I realized I was just the ever reliable backup plan.” Tayen stuck out her tongue and made a gagging sound.
Caleb smiled at her warmly. “I’m thinking that we will have quite a bit to talk about then. But before we make a date, let’s see what David has planned. Just for the record though, Tayen, I probably got just as much pleasure out of that as you did, perhaps more. You submit so beautifully.”
Tayen brought her hands to her face. Caleb brought her hands back down to her sides. “David will know,” Tayen said in response to Caleb’s raised eyebrows.
“So?”
Tayen was silent until they were just about to enter her home.
“You’re right. So what?” Tayen asked, shrugging her shoulders. Caleb loved her thoughtful, defiant response. She was already separating the two Dominants in her life. David did the clothes, work, hair, and everything in between. Caleb could do the sex if he wanted the job. David couldn’t do the sex. Caleb couldn’t do the twenty-four-seven thing.

David was sitting at the kitchen island. One look at Tayen’s flushed face, and David smiled at Caleb. David motioned for Tayen to sit at the chair closest to him and then for Caleb to sit on the chair beside Tayen.
“Tayen,” David began, “I will be taking you shopping this evening for all of the things that you need.” Tayen breathed out heavily, relieved. “I will not be around tomorrow when people come in here to deliver your things. I’m sure that we can get most of your purchases delivered tomorrow if we show enough gratitude.” David rubbed his thumb against his pointer and middle finger, indicating that they’d have to tip big to score the deliveries.
“That’s fine, David. I’m sure that I can handle—” Tayen started, and Caleb cut her off.
“I have nothing going on tomorrow, David. I could be here to help Tayen get everything situated.” Caleb looked at David only but felt Tayen relax.
David turned to Caleb and handed him a piece of paper. “Here is Tayen’s schedule. Will you and Tayen be able to join Sean and me for an early dinner tomorrow evening?”
Caleb glanced at the schedule, looked at Tayen, and noticed how completely at ease she was, even though the two men were discussing her plans for tomorrow.
“I think we can do that.” Caleb nodded, looking at David, folding the paper, and placing it in his pocket. “I’ll be leaving now, but David, get my cell number into her fancy, new phone, and Tayen,”—Caleb paused, making sure that she looked into his eyes—“I love oranges.”
Tayen started laughing and walked with Caleb to the door. “I’ll see you tomorrow, Mr. Wilson. Thank you for the pleasure of your company.” Tayen winked at him and smiled, guiltily, as she closed the door.
> David was leaning over the kitchen island when she came back into the area. “Spill!” he demanded, grinning.
“We didn’t fuck, but you have no idea, David, oh my God!” Tayen sat heavily on the kitchen stool and spilled her guts.

It was three in the morning when Caleb took a walk into the Zen area of the eighth floor. He couldn’t sleep because he couldn’t get Tayen out of his mind. He noticed that the lights in David’s place were shining brightly. Caleb brought out his phone and called David.
“Don’t freak,” David said when he opened the front door. “Night terrors.” David didn’t expand on that, and then Caleb saw Tayen wrapped tightly in a blanket on the sectional. David ran his hands through his hair and looked at Tayen. “I just can’t hold her like she needs to be held so I roll her up in a blanket. This way she won’t hurt herself. I don’t leave her alone when she’s like this.”
“Is this my fault?” Caleb asked, searching David for an honest answer.
“It happened all the time,” David replied. “Tayen has demons that I can’t force her to face. Don’t make me expand on that please. I can do the day thing, not the night thing.” David paused. “Do you believe in fate or karma…?”
Caleb didn’t wait for David to finish. He yanked the sectional apart, pulling the small end in front of the long end. He unwrapped Tayen, slid her onto the small section, then laid himself on the long section, pulling her next to him, spooning her. He covered both of them with the blanket, and he felt Tayen’s back muscles relax into his chest.
“I’ll hold her as she needs, David,” Caleb said softly. “Get some sleep. I will wake you if I can’t handle it.”
David left the room, and Caleb looked down at the beautiful woman in his arms. She felt so good. She wasn’t too short like most of the women he’d been with. She wasn’t heavy, but she wasn’t a stick either. She was strong. Her entire body was full of power that only he could command in this moment.
“Sleep, papoose,” Caleb whispered, using Tayen’s own words. “So pretty, so strong, so innocent, and so honest.” Caleb continued to whisper to Tayen until he fell asleep.
