Cameron nodded. “Yes, and I was thinking it would be the perfect place to take her in October, when we all have vacation time coming.”

“I want the trip to be more than a vacation. I want this.” He moved the laptop back and clicked on another website he’d been on multiple times. Then he pushed it in front of Alex and waited.
Alex grinned and nodded again. “The handfasting ceremony we talked about.”
“It’s not a legal wedding, obviously, but this resort has them as part of a package deal. I thought we were going to ask her in the hotel suite, but then I guess we became distracted.”
Alex chuckled. “Yeah, just a bit.”

Alex snorted, but from the way his face colored slightly, Cameron knew he was right. “As long as we both agree on that point.”
“One hundred percent. We’ve talked about that before.” He tapped the screen. “We’ve also talked about this. It’s as official as we can make it right now, under the current laws.”
Alex smiled. “Maybe one day it’ll be legal to be married to more than one person at a time, eh?”
“Maybe, but for now, we can do this. But I want to do it right. A ring from each of us, a real proposal, and this beautiful ceremony on the beach, under the night sky.”
Alex leaned back in his chair and shook his head. “You’re serious.”
“Very. Don’t you love her enough to spend your life with her?”
“Cameron, I loved her enough to do that three years a
go. We both did.”
“Then why not do this now? I thought when we’d first discussed it we were both serious?”
Alex frowned and cut his gaze toward the hallway. “What if she doesn’t want this? What if it’s too soon? What if she’s worried about her family?”
“She was worried about them six months ago, and they’ve never accepted this relationship. It’s not going to happen.”
“What if that’s too much for Nina to handle?”
“What if it’s not? What if she agrees to it?”
Alex pulled the laptop in front of him and clicked around the sites again. “This really is perfect. She’ll eat it up, and you know how I love to see her smile.”
“I know. Same here. So, are we doing this?”
“Yeah. Let’s do it.”
They high-fived over the laptop, and then Alex asked when they would tell her.
“I don’t want to simply tell her. I want to propose to her, and then tell her where we’re going in October. The only thing to decide is how to propose, and where to do it.”
Alex grinned. “Oh, we’ve got this. Listen. I have a fabulous idea.”
Chapter Five

“The Tuscany on Providenciales. We’re going there in October on our vacation.”

This is heaven. I can’t believe this.” She put a hand on her heart. “You two are the most romantic men in the world.”
“That’s not all, Nina,” said Alex, rising from his chair. He and Cameron both got down on the floor on one knee, and then each pulled a small velvet box from their jacket pockets.
“What …” She stared at them, not understanding, and then when they exchanged a huge grin and opened the boxes at the same time, she placed a hand over her mouth. Tears ran down face. “But … I mean … how?”
“Handfasting,” said Cameron. “They have a package deal at the resort. It’s a midnight ceremony on the beach, with all the trimmings. Unless of course you say ‘no’ and then it’s just a really fabulous vacation at a very romantic resort.”
“Oh my God. As if I could say ‘no’ to you two for anything.”
“Nina, we love you,” said Cameron. “We can’t both marry you, but we would be honored if you would become our wife in a less traditional way.”
“We can’t imagine our lives without you,” said Alex. “I know it’s only been six months, but we don’t need any more time. We know this is what we want. To be with you for the rest of our lives. Please say ‘yes.’”
“Yes,” she whispered. “A thousand times yes.”
The rings were gold with simple diamonds, and they had been designed to fit together like a traditional wedding and engagement ring set. The men slipped them on her finger.
“We’ll get them soldered together for the ceremony,” said Cameron, “but Alex and I each wanted to have one to present to you tonight.”
She wiped at more tears, her pulse racing. Never in her wildest imagination had she been expecting this. “They’re perfect. You’re both perfect. Oh my God I love you so much.”
They stood, and she did, too. Then both men took turns holding her close and kissing her until she could barely breathe. Nina had everything she’d ever wanted in these two sexy, gorgeous men, and now it would be official. She’d never pictured their relationship going in this direction, but now she realized it couldn’t be anything less. This was right, true, and real.
