Blossoming Adventure: 7 Wonderful and Unexpected True Love Stories Page 3

He laid next to her, not quite squishing her and let his hands wander, spreading the heat from the pit of her stomach to between her legs. Her breasts felt sore and heavy, aching with the need for him to touch them. She felt herself growing wet as his hands skimmed her body and worked on the buttons on her frock to take it off. Eventually he helped pull it over her head and then helped her untie her shift until he could pull it off, leaving her naked and exposed.

Running her hands from his shoulders down to his waist, she hesitated a moment, wondering if she should do this. When he pressed another kiss to her mouth and his hands went between her legs and started to touch her most intimate places, all logical thought flew from her head and she spread her legs for him. He inserted one finger and started to stroke her as his thumb circled her sensitive nub that was hiding under a small flap of skin that she didn't even know could feel like this. Moaning she arched her hips against him and let him grind his hand against her until she exploded with her first orgasm.

Gasping for air, she shivered on the couch against him. Her eyes shut tightly as the stars danced behind her eyelids and he started to touch her again, building up the passion and fire in her belly for round two.

Flo realized that had Roscoe made her feel like this, she would have dragged him to the alter to have sex every day for the rest of their lives. If this was what the fuss was all about, she could understand why so many people took risks to experience it.

Ben reached down and grabbed one of her hands, guiding it to his hard cock through his pants. Taking the hint, she started to stroke him through his clothes until he was pressing himself hard against her. He reached down and started to undo his pants, pulling himself free and Flo wrapped her delicate fingers around him and started to stroke him gently, feeling the way his manhood was rock hard, but the skin was velvety soft.

He inhaled sharply when her other hand circled around his back and grabbed his ass hard. She liked the way his body felt compared to hers. Where he was hard and masculine, she was soft and delicate. They fit together perfectly, and she had lost all logical thought a while ago. One of his hands were still between her legs, playing with her clit, getting her wetter and wetter until his hands were soaked with her juices.

He growled and kissed her wildly, his breath coming in hot against her mouth as his heart raced in his chest loud enough for Flo to feel it when her naked breasts crushed against his shirt. Taking his hand from her heat, he reached around to cup her bottom. He sat down and pulled her on top of him, so her knees went on either side of his lap. He pulled her hips so that his rigid cock would rub between her legs, teasing her, letting her skin and pussy lips rub against his erection.

Flo shivered, the urge to push herself onto the tip of his cock overwhelmed her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and tried to push down, to take him inside of her.

Ben grabbed her buttcheeks and guided her up until the tip of his dick rubbed between her lips, teasing her. Gently he slid her down until she'd embedded him to the hilt inside of her warm hole.

Flo tilted her head back, letting out a loud moan as she started to move her groin against him, riding him up and down as he guided her hips back and forth with his large hands.

Without breaking rhythm, he leaned down against her, suckling her breasts roughly with his tongue and lips. Flo squeaked as the tingling that started in her lower stomach started to spread down to her thighs. He was rubbing just the right spot inside. She was so close to another round of explosive lights behind her eyes she started to ride him faster, trying to get there, to reach that feeling of goodness that left her all gooey and lightheaded.

He whispered her name against her breast, with her nipple still in his mouth, then switched nipples and started to play with the other one. His breath came in short little huffs as she slid up and down his cock.

“Oh god,” He said and then moved his head to kiss her. He grabbed the back of her head with one of his hands and let his tongue plunge between her lips to rub against her tongue, keeping the rhythm of his cock, stroke for stroke.

In that final moment before she fell off the teetering edge she had been trying to reach into another round of ecstasy, Florence understood why people claimed they needed this. She needed this. Why had she waited so long? And why had she picked Roscoe for her first time, looking back, this is what it should have been like. Panting, and writing with desire, sweaty and needy and trembling.

Ben groaned, burying his face against her neck as her body shook against his. The aftershocks made her whisper his name over and over. He thrust faster, coming to his own pulsing release as her body squeezed him hard.

One of his large hands caressed her ass softly as the two of them clung to each other. Flo rested her forehead against his shoulder, trying to catch her breath, her pussy was still squeezing around him from the leftover spasms from her release.

“That was amazing," He whispered to her softly.

“I have to get back to work soon,” She told him, blushing, realizing that she'd probably be slightly sore for the rest of the day. She wasn't used to this kind of activity.

“Was this your first time?” Ben asked her casually, realizing that she had responded like an inexperienced virgin, but had held nothing back. She was shameless, and seemed shocked that it could feel good.

“Sort of, the man who stood me up at the altar took my virginity in the straw in my family’s barn before the wedding. It was painful and awkward, and it didn't feel like this. This was amazing, I regretted that night in the barn, I won't regret today, this was perfect." Flo admitted, then blushed and quickly climbed off the top of him, realizing that she'd told him more than she should have.

Ben stared at her, and realized that while she hadn't been a virgin, she was as darn close to a virgin as you could get. Her honesty and sweetness were traits he actually liked, there was no venom, no fake sweetness. He enjoyed that, he wanted to see her again.

He stared at Flo, trying to decide what to do about what they just did. He grabbed her before she could leave and pulled her back onto his lap and kissed her again. This time he didn't push her into a frenzy of passion. This time was about sweetness, and showing her he could be gentle and take care with her. She wasn't after his money, she didn't seem to ask for any favors, her honest reaction to him was simply an honest reaction to who he was, and the man that was directly in front of her.

Florence kissed him back and then pulled away, gathering up her clothes. "I need to clean up and go back downstairs. I need to get your items so you can take your sister's dress back to her."

"Alright, thank you Flo," Ben told her, and he watched her walk out of room to go clean up in the washroom, trying to figure out how to win her over. Now that he decided he wanted her, he had to figure out how to keep her.

Which proved to be a problem, she avoided him after their initial encounter, and left him fighting to try to win her heart. He was running out of time, his father was progressively getting worse, and he had to get Flo to agree to marry him.

She didn't seem to care about money, so offering her financial incentives would just offend her. He needed to find a way to woo her and win her heart. Sex was a bonus. She seemed to really like sex, but was seducing her enough to convince her to marry him?

  Chapter 4 – Avoiding Ben

Florence had been avoiding Ben, she knew she had no reason to. He'd been nothing but nice to her, and the sex between them had been amazing, but once she'd had her perfect night, she was scared. She didn't want to screw up the fantasy in her mind that she pictured when she thought of him.

The problem was, as she stood in the shop admit the squeals of young girl laughter and mothers gossiping, she was almost two months late with her period. At first she chalked it up to drastic life changes and stress, but now she was sure, especially with how often she had to pee, and the nausea and fatigue. Kath had even asked her if she was pregnant the other day, and she'd denied, but she didn't think she could anymore.

  Flo s
uddenly started to gag and ran to the back of the building and stuck her head out a side window to get some fresh air. The perfume of one of the matron's had caused her stomach to revolt, and she tried to calm her stomach before returning back out there to finish her job.

"Flo, try this. It's mint tea." Kath told her and handed her a small glass cup of liquid.

Florence slid to the floor, shaking her head. “I can’t do this,” she said as she took the tea and sipped it.

Kath squatted down by her and pushed her strands of hair off her face and encouraged her to drink the whole cup.

"Are you feeling any better?" Kath asked her quietly.

“I can't deny it anymore. I'm pregnant,” Florence said. Tears pricked the backs of her eyes, and she blinked them back, trying to pull herself together. She couldn't afford to lose this job.

“It’ll be hard, Sweetie, but you’ll make it. Do you know who the father is?” Kath asked her bluntly. Her and her husband had always wanted children, but after three miscarriages, her body stopped bleeding altogether.

"Yes, I do." Florence felt another wave of nausea washing over her and put her head between her knees, trying to stop the rolling waves and summersaults her stomach was doing. Taking a deep breath she looked up at Kath.

Kath crouched beside her and stroked her hair in a grandmotherly fashion. They sat together for a few minutes quietly.

“Benjamin keeps asking for you,” Kath said. “He seems rather smitten.”

"I don't want him to think I got pregnant on purpose. I enjoyed my time with him, truly I did. But we’re from different worlds. I already have one bad experience just from a local, small town boy when we were from different types of families. He's a rich billionaire in the jewelry business, I got to know his sister. They are both amazing, but I'm not even in the same class as those two. I cannot compete with all the women he should be marrying. I would be an embarrassment." Florence replied, looking sad. She felt he had the right to know, but she would keep the baby. There was nothing for him to do, and she didn't want to cause any drama for his family, or hurt his sister, who she'd come to like.

“Are you going to tell him that you’re expecting?” Kath asked her quietly.

“No,” Florence said immediately. “I don’t want anything to do with him or his money.”

"Are you sure it's his?" Kath asked gently, Flo had told her over brandy one night about Roscoe.

"Yes, I know it's Ben's, thank God. I think if I was pregnant with Roscoe's baby, I couldn't go through with keeping it. But Ben? Ben is a good man, a decent man, I just need to be strong and get through this. I had a period when I first arrived, and one shortly before I met Ben. I think I got lucky that it is most definitely his." Flo thanked God in that moment, even though she sinned, this was the outcome. A baby, right now, she didn't feel like a sinner, she just wasn't sure how she'd do this alone.

"You won't be alone Flo," Kath said, seeing the expression on Flo's face. "I'm not going to abandon you, even if you have a baby out of wedlock."

Florence wiped her eyes, and reached out and squeezed Kath's hand. "Thank you Kath, you are a good friend to me."

"Think you can get back to work now?" Kath told her, the sweet expression dropping and her business look was slammed back onto her face.

"Yes. Let's go face the dragons," Flo told her and got up, linking her arm through Kath's.

  Chapter 5 – The Miracle

Benjamin had decided he wasn't taking no for an answer anymore. He was going to tell his father his intentions, and wouldn't leave Florence alone until she said yes. He wouldn't come home without her.

"Father, I have something I need to tell you," He told his father as the old man sat on the front porch smoking a cigar, which is all he seemed to do the last month or so.

"Is it about the little shop girl who has you all tied up in knots?" His father pulled the cigar out of his mouth to ask him.

Ben stared at his father in surprise, "How did you know about her?"

His father let out a chuckle, which quickly turned into a hacking cough. "Your sister. Plus the other women gossip. Apparently she's quite adorable, and with how many times you've made excuses to take your sister clothes shopping, and pick up her stuff instead of letting servants do it, it's not hard to figure out what's got your attention there."

"She's poor." Ben told him, "She has no connections. Her family is from a tiny town in the middle of nowhere, and they are farmers. She's more comfortable in man clothes, than she is a party dress, but she makes me smile, and laugh, and she's the woman I want."

"Did you know that when I met your mother, she didn't have a penny to her name?" His father stubbed out his cigar and waved at the chair next to him for Ben to sit down.

"No, I didn't know that." He told his father.

Nodding his dad continued the story, "I traveled to New York to buy a ruby as big as my fist. She tried to steal it from me. I caught the little burglar before she got away. When I managed to get her mask off and realize it was a woman. I was so offended, I kissed her."

Ben had never heard the story of how his parents met, and he was in complete shock.

"I ended up knocking her up with you. I didn't leave New York until I had convinced her to marry me and come home with me. Your mother was always worried someone would find out about her past and embarrass us, but I never cared that she'd grown up on the streets. She was smart, and beautiful and her heart was as worth more than that ruby I went to buy. She was trying to steal it to save the orphanage she grew up in. They were shutting it down because of no funds, and they'd kicked her out because they had too many mouths to feed. I made an anonymous donation for her instead of her keeping the ruby."

"Why are you telling me this?" Ben was confused, the story was interesting, but he didn't know what it had to do with him, or Florence.

"Are ye really that dense boy? Get your girl. Love only happens once in a lifetime like this. Why do you think I never remarried when your mother died? I'm waiting to be with Samantha again. Don't waste time, life is far too precious. You have my blessing if you love the girl. That's all I wanted for you. Love. Someone you could respect, trust, I didn't want you to marry just anyone." His father patted him on the shoulder as he struggled to his feet. "Go get your girl, bring her home. We'll have a quick wedding, I'd like to see you married before I die."

"Alright father, I'll try. She's been avoiding me." Ben said.

His father paused in the doorway of the house to look over his shoulder to Ben, "When has that ever stopped you from chasing after a woman?"

His father had a point. He went into town and stood outside the building, the shop was full of women and he knew he'd never get a chance to talk to Florence alone until they'd left.

So he waited. And waited. When it finally started to get dark, the shop's sign turned to close and he managed to catch Kath as she was locking the doors from the inside.

"I need to talk to Florence." Benjamin told her through the door.

"We’re closed, come back tomorrow," Kath said and turned to walk away before Ben started to bang on the door hard enough to rattle the glass.

"I will stand here banging all night until you let me in. I want to talk to her now." Benjamin shouted, his volume escalating as he panicked that Kath would just continue to walk away.

"Okay, fine, she's upstairs resting. If you upset her in any way, I don't care how rich you are boy, I'll beat you senseless. Do you hear me?" Kath warned him as she unlocked the door and let him inside to follow her upstairs from the back room.

He could have used the outside stairs, but Ben had been worried they'd have ignored him.

"I love her. The only thing I want to do is take her home and convince her to marry me." He told Kath, looking sheepish.

"You're gonna have a hard time convincing her of that." Kath told him, raising a brow and then escorted him up the rickety stairs until they reached the hallway with the rooms. "You know which door. If she doesn't answer, go out the out
side stairs. Good luck."

Kath opened her chambers and locked herself in, ignoring Benjamin, leaving him to try to reach Flo.

Walking over, he knocked on the door louder and louder until Florence finally opened it. Looking sleepy, she stood there in just her shift and almost slammed the door in his face, he managed to stop her and put his foot in the way.

"Flo, we need to talk. I just need you to hear me out this time, and stop running away from me every time you see me." Benjamin told her and pushed his way into her room.

"Ben, there's something I should probably tell you, before you say anything else." Florence started to say, but Ben cut her off and kissed her.

Florence kissed him back, until the smell of cigar smoke hit her nose, and then she pushed away from him and ran over to the empty bucket she had sitting by the wash basic on a table. Picking it up, she dry heaved into it for a few minutes before she finally stopped.

Benjamin was staring at her in shock, "Are you sick?"

"I'll be okay. I just need some water, the smell of smoke on your jacket upset my stomach," She told him as she poured some water into a cup and drank it slowly. Picking up some dried herbs, she grabbed a piece of ginger and started to chew on it gently as she looked up at him. "Now why are you here?"

"Because I want to marry you." He blurted out, not beating around the bush.

"Did Kath tell you? She promised she wouldn't. I can't marry you." Florence turned away from him.

"Tell me what?" Benjamin stared at her, "Why can't you marry me, are you already married to someone else?"

"No! Of course not! You deserve a woman who travels in your circles. One who understands what's going on and can keep up with everything." She told him gently, she walked over and put her hand on his arm and looked up at him. "I like you, I like your sister, but you deserve to be with a woman who won't embarrass your family or comes from a background like mine."
