Alex (The Boys of Glensville Book 4) Page 13

by Nicki Rowe

I look at Declan. “And you?”

His smile grows bigger. “When we first met you I thought there was no way I would have room in my heart for you and Callum, but there is. There's so much room and love in there for both of you. I could not imagine our lives without you. I think there is a reason that Callum and I haven't gotten married after twenty years of being together, and that's because we were waiting for you. You are ours, Alex, and we are yours. All three of us belong together forever.”

I hold out my hand and they slip the rings on my finger. Lucky's first and then Declan's. The rings seem to fit together on my finger seamlessly.

“After we go see Diabolic Divas we have to find a jewelry shop,” I demand.

“Why?” Lucky asks as he and Declan climb to their feet.

I smile. “I have to get you guys rings.” I pause. “Unless you don't want to wear my ring.”

Declan reaches out and pulls me into him. “Of course we will, Alex. I would be pissed if I didn't have a physical representation of your love like I did Callum's.”

“Same,” Lucky says, and Declan passes me to him. “Whenever someone looks at my finger I want them to see that I have two beautiful men who love me.”

“I love you,” I tell them.

“More than the stars and sea,” they say in unison.

My heart fills with joy. I am brimming with so much love, it feels like it's going to burst out of me. I feel honored and ecstatic that they are sharing their special saying with me. It helps me remember that the three of us are a unit. They have been together for twenty years, and I am lucky enough that they want to share that love with me. I had always known there was someone out there for me, and somehow I was lucky enough to find two men that loved me more than the endless blue of the oceans and more than the infinite number of stars in the sky.
