Reynolds shook his head then began massaging his temples, the deep frown on his face telling me this case was going to be a challenging slog. He sat motionless for a beat, then slid his chair out and stood up. “I’ll think hard on your inquiry once I’ve satisfied today’s obligations,” he said. “Thank you both for your time this morning. Sarah, it was a distinct pleasure meeting you.” He motioned toward the entry hall. “I’ll see you out now.”
