“Give me a second,” she instructed as she slowly took off her blouse. She tossed it over to the side of the living room couch and began undoing the fastened clips of her bra.

  Buzz!

Chace reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. Someone was calling. “Take your time, babe, I need to answer this one real quick.” He then stepped out of the living room and into the kitchen where he could discuss business.

“Oh w-wait, no, no, no,” Julie tried to stop him but by then Chace was already out and busy on the phone. Crossed, Julie let out a groan of disgust but figured she could use the time to get dressed. “Let’s see you do that when I’m wearing all this on.”

She took the lingerie, the gag ball, and the cuffs then headed to the bathroom. She locked the door behind her and stared for a minute in front of the big mirror. “Julie Evans, is there something wrong with the way you look? I know I’ve seen Chace look at me with those pervy eyes like he wants to fuck my brains out but there are times where he’d rather masturbate to his fucking phone more than me. Let’s see him do that again when I’m wearing this.”

Julie quickly removed her clothes, including all her undergarments, and tossed them into the brown bag. She then took her lingerie and slipped it on. It was so revealing but in a way that made her feel even more seductive than usual. The piece was showing enough to get people interested but it hid the finer details that would drive men insane.

With that one she took the red ball gag, popped it into her mouth and then strapped it tight at the back of her head. She couldn’t speak with this ball in her but that was entirely the point. All she could do now was moan and plea for him to keep having his way with her. All she could do was drool in ecstasy when he’d thrust his massive toy deep into her flesh.

To finish the look, like icing on a cake, she took the cuffs and locked one on her left wrist. The other she kept loose and hanging but the key she kept tucked between her breasts, right in the center of her cleavage.

After one final look in the mirror she stepped out and headed through the living room. She looked around but Chace was nowhere to be found. She went to the kitchen, which is where he was earlier, but he was no longer there.

“Where in the world are you?” she thought as she started checking out every room and door in the apartment. It was to her utter disappointment to discover him in his home office, seated by the desk, talking to the phone while checking his laptop and a pile of paperwork.

Julie felt a rush of both anger and dismay. She was frustrated and even when she stood in the doorway, wiggling her hips and caressing her tits to draw his attention, Chace was still too distracted to even notice. It was like she didn’t even exist. It was just him and his work from this point on, a reality that was immediately sinking into Julie’s mind now.

“Chace?” Julie called out after she removed the gag in her mouth. He couldn’t hear her. “Chace!”

She shouted a little louder and then again but now even louder than before. He still didn’t notice her until finally she slammed the door shut and began to walk back to the bathroom.

“Jules? Babe?” she could hear him calling out to her. She didn’t care. Julie stormed into the bathroom and with tears flowing down her cheeks she quickly changed back into her regular clothes.

“Babe?” Chace called out from the other side of the door. “What’s wrong? I couldn’t hear you. I was on the phone. What were you saying?”

She took the gifts she bought and tossed them into the bathtub. It was up to Chace to clean this all up. As far as she was concerned, he could shove the gag ball down his throat.

“I deserve better than this,” she told herself when she finally pushed out of the bathroom and shoved Chace out of the way.

“Hey! What the heck’s going on?” he demanded as he chased after her. They stormed out of the apartment and it took Chace a moment to catch up to her at the parking lot. Snow was falling and both of them instantly felt the freezing cold. Julie didn’t mind it any attention but it did bother Chace. He eventually reached her right as she was stepping into her car. “What the heck’s wrong with you? Come on, step inside. It’s freezing out here!”

Julie looked at him with fury emanating from her very eyes. She scoffed at his comment. “What the heck’s wrong with me? No; what the heck’s wrong with you? That’s the real question here, you fuck. You’re doing it all over again. It’s just happening again. I can stand out here in the snow all freaking day and it would still be a summer’s day compared to the cold black region of your rotten heart.”

Chace had no clue what she was talking about. He looked at her with a blank expression, confused and unsure of what was happening. “Babe, I was just on the phone and the next thing I know there you are walking out in a fit. Please, just take a moment to explain to me what I’m doing wrong here. Don’t push me away.”

“Chace, babe, you’re the one pushing me away,” she replied. Chace’s jaw dropped but before she could really smack into his face the reality of the situation she merely hopped into the car and slammed the door shut.

Julie pulled the car in reverse and began to make her way out of his garage. Chace did try to stop her, running up to the door and tapping on the window, but before long she was moving too fast and eventually she left him in the middle of the street.

“Fuck you, damn it,” Julie cursed under her breath. “I can’t believe I let a single chance meeting screw me like this. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you!”

She looked into the rearview mirror and watched as his figure quickly faded. Within minutes she was out of the neighborhood and back into the comfortable realm of the highway. Without looking back she drove straight back home, never stopping for anything, not even gas.

Ned was nowhere to be seen but Melissa was sprawled on the couch watching a horror film. Well, it seemed like a horror film but even with the ten seconds that Julie caught as she arrived it looked more like a cheesy gore-fest with horrible actors and no budget for decent special effects.

“Hey, did the SyFy channel decide to give up and just make movies with their lunch money?” Julie asked her as she sat down beside her. She scooted over and handed Julie her bowl of popcorn. Most of it had already been eaten and what was left was drenched in hot butter and salt.

Julie took a handful of popcorn and stuffed the food in her mouth, hoping she could hide the tears and sobs. Despite her best efforts, Melissa still noticed and quickly sat up to check on her.

Melissa placed a hand on Julie’s shoulder. “Hey, are you okay? What the hell happened to you?”

“Fuck, Mel, it’s happening again,” Julie answered. “It’s happening all over again. Chace doesn’t give a shit about me, I can feel it. He’s just saying all the right things because he doesn’t want to hurt me. He doesn’t me to blame him.”

Melissa raised an eyebrow in suspicion. “Wait, what do you mean? I don’t get it. Start making sense, Jules, because you’re sounding like an alien from the wrong Mars movie.”

Julie hastily wiped her eyes, accidentally smudging her makeup, and then looked at Melissa in remorse and pain. “He’s been staring at that fucking phone all day again. He did it last the other fucking day too.”

“It can’t be that bad, Jules. Maybe you’re just over-thinking things.” Melissa rubbed her hand up and down her back, trying to calm Julie down.

That’s when Julie snapped. “No! I’m not over-thinking this, Mel. I know I can be a little too much to handle at times but not this. The other day he and I were making out and I thought we’d have a good night but then his phone vibrated and lo, and behold, all he did afterwards was chat with his clients. He freaking forgot all about me.”

Melissa still wasn’t buying it. “Maybe it was really important. You know he deals with clients abroad and the like. I mean, if he still runs the same web designing and SEO business since we last got to hang out a few years back. He has to adjust to their time zones – not them to him.”

  Julie made a fist and
shook it with such force Melissa scooted a bit away. “No, Mel, I’m telling you he was pushing me away. Today I decided to do something different and so I got him a Christmas gift – me in lingerie with furry cuffs and a gag ball. Like come on, how many girls would dress up so kinky for their guys, right? But no – he ignored me and was just on the phone doing business.”

“Girl, if you were wearing anything other than the green sweater he bought for you three years ago even I would bang the living the shit of you. It would be the Fourth of July in December,” Melissa seemed to have gotten Julie’s point. “So what did you do? Just change your clothes and drive out of there like you’re Bonnie and Clyde but without Clyde?”

Julie nodded and wiped off her tears. “He didn’t even have a clue why I was so upset leaving. I tried to tell him again and again that I don’t like it when he closes himself in like that. It pushes me away and I don’t know what to do when I’m just standing there like a helpless bystander instead of being right in his arms, where I should be.”

“I worry about you sometimes,” Melissa replied. “If you keep going like this you might just crack one day and I’ll walk into your room only to find you staring blankly at the wall or mumbling mumbo-jumbo to an imaginary rival.”

“Are you saying I’ve lost my mind?”

Melissa shook her head. “I’m saying you will lose it if you don’t fix this issue with Chace.”

“Fuck Chace,” Julie shot back. “I’d rather go with that pervert, Dorian, than to deal with Chace any further. At least with Dorian I know I’ll get the time and attention I want and need.”

“He’ll also degrade you, call you a slut in public, and he’ll fuck you only to please himself but not you,” Melissa tried to reason with Julie but the latter wasn’t having any of it.

Julie just waved it off. “At least he’d be giving me attention and good sex to boot. I don’t get either from Chace lately and even when we do have sex he always seems to be in such a hurry, like he’ll die if he’s not on that stupid phone of his.”

“Jules, listen to what you’re saying. You’re starting to sound like those reality TV stars who have way too much self-pity. You’re becoming a Kardashian, sweetie, and it’s dumb.”

“Shut it, Mel. I’m fucking serious here, why are you trying to make me laugh?”

“It’s what I’m here for, love bug,” Melissa answered and she wrapped an arm around Julie. “I’m the most annoying shithead to be your housemate so deal with it. You can either cry here, with me, and listen to me rant about how you’re turning into an MTV puppy or you can do two other options. One: you can go back to Chace and try to fix the issue. Two: you can get back in your car, let’s go to a bar, and hook up with some random hot guy… maybe a sexy Latino stripper if I get lucky.”

Julie laughed so hard she coughed out snot and had to dry her face from the tears and ruined mascara. When she finally composed herself she turned to Melissa. “Okay, let’s get fucking drunk. It’s Christmas time, I want to find myself some hunk with lips I can dunk my tongue in.”

  Chapter Nine

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Julie asked Melissa. They sat in the latter’s car and were in the parking lot for the Caliber Rodeo, a country bar with a live band, small-time gambling tables, pool and darts.

Julie was dressed in a simple pair of denim shorts – they were a little ripped in some parts and Melissa said it was just to get more guys to stare at her – and a white blouse with the lapels and upper buttons open wide. She wore her ankle-high boots and a let her hair drop down instead of tying it in a bun.

Melissa, who absolutely did not tell Ned where they were going, wore jeans and a plaid shirt. She did her hair in pigtails and wore a really nice – and expensive – pair of aviators that Julie just didn’t deem practical. The skies were grey, there was light snow, and the bar was bound to be dark inside. She wore them anyway and to her benefit Melissa did look astounding in them.

“Of course, it’s a good idea,” Melissa replied after shutting down the car and adjusting her glasses. “You want to forget Chace but you still need to get down and dirty with a hot hunk. This is the place to bring on the filthy, honey. Trust me – this is where I picked up Ned for the first time. Cute little idiot was desperately trying to impress me with his non-existent dart skills.”

Julie let out a soft, nervous chuckle. She still wasn’t really sure if she wanted to do this but there really wasn’t any other option than to sit at home and cry in a corner. If she was going to be miserable she might as well flirt around and drag someone into her hole too.

“Fine, let’s do this,” she told Melissa and got out of the car. She was instantly blasted with the cold kiss of the winter air and she immediately regretted not bringing a jacket. Melissa didn’t bring one either but she had the common sense of running straight for the bar’s doors the moment she left the car. Julie followed suit but now she was shivering from the sheer cold.

“Go on in, you two look like you’ll freeze in a matter of seconds,” the bouncer told them right as they approached. He opened the door for them and Julie was pleased to see that Caliber Rodeo was a lot more decent than what she expected.

It didn’t even take them long to get some VIP treatment. Julie feared she wouldn’t get some attention here but apparently every guy in there wanted a girl with some meat on her bones instead of the really skinny types mostly portrayed on television shows and movies. In the first fifteen minutes alone she counted four different guys who were looking their way.

Melissa ordered herself a cold glass of beer and Julie settled with a shot of gin and tonic, a classic mix that she took pride in being able to hold in. It was when taking her third shot that a man came by and asked if he could sit beside her.

“Excuse me, I just can’t help myself when I see a fine lass like you drinking so hard,” the man greeted as he walked up and got right up next to Julie. “The sight gets me a little hard too, if you don’t mind my saying so.”

Melissa giggled and poked Julie to look at the guy who was trying desperately to nab her attention. The man was wearing really tight jeans, snakeskin boots, a black and white button-up shirt, and had a cowboy hat on. Julie didn’t want to condemn the guy as stereotypical but he even had a stereotypical moustache, a handlebar that was thick and slightly unkempt.

“O-oh, hi,” Julie greeted and she reached out to shake his hand. “I’m Julie and this is my bestfriend, Melissa.”

“Hi y’all,” the man responded with a wave. His breath was thick with the scent of alcohol and Julie figured he must have been there in the bar for a while now. “My name’s Griffin, Joel Griffin, and I’d love to get to know you sweet ladies.”

Hearing those words sent a warm flood of emotions down Julie’s body. She knew it was all bullshit and this guy was so drunk he probably just wanted to fuck someone – anyone – before calling it a night but she still appreciated the effort. It was a lot more than what she got from Chace.

“I’d love that too,” she told Griffin and welcomed him to join them.

  ***

“Wait, wait, so you’re saying you literally had to stick your arm into a cow’s ass?” Melissa asked Griffin.

It was 2 AM and the bar was still riddled with patrons. Julie had several shots and three bottles of beer. Melissa, who was a little weaker when it came to drinks, managed to drink more than usual while still keeping a sane head between her shoulders. Griffin, to their surprise, was a little allergic to alcohol so he had the least to drink ever since they got together a few hours earlier.

“Well, you see, sometimes there’s no fancy gadget or what not so you just got to do it yourself,” he answered. He then turned over to face Julie. “Now let me get this straight. Mel here has a boyfriend but you’re completely available?”

Julie blushed but she did nod, “I want to be honest with you. I was seeing someone, a guy I was in a relationship with before but we broke up and we got together and then broke up again. I don’t know. It
’s a mess.”

“Damn, calm your tits and make a decision,” he told Julie. Melissa laughed but it didn’t exactly amuse Julie. “I don’t want to get drunk over here hoping I could spread them pretty legs of yours only to find out I had no chance at all because of a dying fling you’ve got with an ex. Come on, don’t over think these things, slut, just spread them chunky legs and let plow right into you.”

Melissa reeled in laughing but she halted when she saw Julie’s face was dry and serious. If a person’s imagination could poof into existence, she knew Julie’s ears would be billowing out steam and flames would be dancing on top of her head. Horns would be growing and she would smite Griffin down with a heavy slap.

“H-hey, Jules, you okay?” Melissa asked Julie. “You look a little red. Do you want to go home?”

Julie shook her head, “No, I’m fine. I can handle it. I appreciate it, in fact. At least he’s being honest.”

She then turned her attention back to Griffin and asked, “If I gave you a chance to sleep with me tonight, right now, would you take it?”

Griffin unapologetically reached down and slid his hand in his pants and Julie watched him grab his cock. “Baby, of course I’d take the chance. I’ve been wanting to bend you down over a table and smack your pretty little face with my cock ever since I laid eyes on you.”

“Wow,” Julie mouthed silently to Melissa. She then said out loud, “No one’s ever been that upfront with me before.”

“Well, I ain’t exactly done,” Griffin continued as he finished his last bottle of beer. He summed up every ounce of courage he had and flat out reached for Julie’s breasts and gave a squeeze, much to her surprise. “If I could have my way with you I’d fuck you right now in the parking lot and let your chubby friend here get a good look. Maybe Mel would like the show so much she’d spread her pussy for me too.”

Melissa was on the verge of slapping him in the face. She would have if not for Julie holding her hand down and continuing to ask Griffin for more details.
