The Garden of Fibs and Sin (Filthy Fibbers, Prequel) Page 5

by Jason Lloyd

I walked into the pool house, and instantly the smell of vanilla wafted up my nose. He had lit scented candles all around. Sade played softly in the background. I laughed to myself. This was what an eighteen-year-old thought was romantic. It reminded me of a Danielle Steel novel.

“There you are,” Damien said as he walked out of the bathroom. He was only wearing blue boxer briefs. “I just got out of the shower. I wanted to be all clean for ya, even though you like me dirty,” he smirked.

“This all for me?” I asked.

“Um, yeah,” Damien said nervously. “You were out with the boys and now I figured you could spend the night with me. Tomorrow I can make you breakfast, and we can lounge around naked all day. Well, part of the day. I still have to plant more roses for your mother.”

“That sounds amazing, but you know it can’t happen. I have to sneak into the house at some point, so Veronica doesn’t figure out what’s going on. And I have brunch plans with the boys in the morning.”

I could see the disappointment in his chiseled face. He walked closer to me, and I felt the heat from his body. The lingering glisten of his once inundated skin was inches away from my touch.

“All I am to you is a nice fuck,” he said with a scowl.

“Well, you aren’t entirely wrong.” His expression turned angry. His face looked tense, and as he turned to walk away, I grabbed his smooth arm. “Damien listen…” He turned around to face me again, but looked off to the left. I clearly upset him. “Out of all the things in my life that are complicated right now, you are the least complicated thing, and right now, I can’t do something that will make it complicated. I do care about you. I don’t know where this is going to go, but I like how it is now, and I don’t want to change that.”

“So you’re saying maybe in the near future?” Damien asked. He needed something, anything. He was a dog, and I had to, no, wanted to, give him a bone.

“I’m saying, I don’t know what will happen. I can’t promise you anything, but I can promise you, me, in this place, at this moment. You’re going to have to take it or leave it.”

“I was hoping you’d take it tonight,” Damien chortled.

“So, cheesy!” I rolled my eyes at him.

Damien smiled and grasped my hand. He tugged at my arm, indicating he wanted me to follow him. We walked through the pool house and stopped when we got to the bedroom area. He had a wanton leer that drove me crazy. Damien slowly unbuttoned my shirt and rubbed his hand on my sparse patch of chest hair. He spread the shirt completely open and shimmied it off. Damien eagerly unbuttoned my jeans and slid them down. As he stood up to kiss me, I noticed he was hard in his boxers.

“I have an idea,” he said as he crouched down to my feet, lifting my legs, one by one to slide them out of my jeans. He then reached up and yanked my boxers down doing the same. I stood there before him, completely naked.

“What?” I asked as he stood up to face me—standing taller than I did. He slightly looked down at me. I felt intimidated at that moment—standing there completely exposed, while his eyes ogled my body.

“I want to have bareback sex with you. We always use condoms.”

“I don’t know if that’s such a good idea,” I said while I looked up into his brown eyes.

“Why? We’ve both were tested. I’m only having sex with you, no one else. I swear! It’s only been you.” Damien’s stare was intense, serious.

  “That’s a huge step,” I said.

“Danny, I love you! I know for whatever reason, you can’t say it back, but I want something. Something that is only mine. Are you fucking someone else?” I looked down, and he put his hand under my chin to lift it. “Are you?”

As I stood there naked, I lost my erection. I tried to remember the last guy I was with other than Damien, and then it hit me. I hadn’t been with anyone else in six months. It had only been him.

“No, it’s only been you,” I said. I noticed the seriousness of this talk had deflated his manhood as well. “It’s a big step, though. You’re so much younger than I am. Are you ready for this?”

“Yeah, I’m ready. Can we take the step?” he asked with a half-smile.

“Damien, once we take that step there is no going back. I mean, if we started using condoms again, it would look like we don’t trust each other any longer. You’re only eighteen! Do you really want to be tied down?” I said as I tried to knock some sense into him.

“I want to be tied to you in every way possible,” he said as he placed his hands on my shoulders. My heart sunk.

My casual affair with our gardener was no longer casual. He really loved me, and I was very fond of him. No matter how much I wanted to fight it, this just got complicated. He had forced his huge dick inside me many times, but now he was forcing his way into my heart, and it scared me.

Damien placed his hand over my heart, gazed into my green eyes and said, “Let me in, Daniel.”

I wanted to, but “Okay” was the only word I could utter. He beamed with happiness. An “Okay” was all he needed… at least for now.

We reclined on the queen-sized bed for a while. He spooned me naked. I was starting to drift off into a much-needed slumber—when I felt it. The sharp pain followed by a blissful ache.

Damien was invading my crevice. He moved slowly in and out. He slid in further until his penis nudged my prostate. His tattooed arm wrapped around my chest, his hot breath quickened on the back of my neck. His chest pressed against my back. I moaned as his body merged into mine. The feel of his muscular physique overpowering my smaller frame made me feel safe. My body relaxed, and the ache transformed into an abundance of pleasure. Damien wasn’t fucking me; he was making love to me. The feeling was different.

He pulled out and sat up on his knees. “Get on your back,” he said panting. I did as he asked. He held onto the back of my legs and lifted them up to his shoulders. As he moved forward to kiss me, I felt his throbbing virility penetrate. I winced. He pressed his forehead against mine and in a quivering breath, he said, “I wanted to look at you.” I kissed him.

Damien’s pace quickened, and my body was plagued with carnal decadence. I moaned with every thrust. Sweat cascaded down his back as I wrapped my legs around his waist. I could tell from his expression the pressure was building up deep inside. He was getting close. He lunged forward and kissed me again. This time, lingering above my lips, and he said, “I love you.”

I wiped the sweat from his brow and cradled his head in my hands, steadying him. I peered into his tender dilated brown eyes and realized I loved him too. But the word, “love” wouldn’t escape my lips, so I settled for, “Me too.”

Damien was shocked by what I said, and he let go. His legs trembled; his body shook… a breathless ending. He laid collapsed, still inside me with his head on my chest. I traced my fingertips up and down his slick back. The whole weight of his body rested on mine. A calming feeling came over me. Maybe I can let someone in… maybe I can.

WE RESTED IN ONE ANOTHER’S arms for a bit. Damien’s panting sated breath tickled my neck. I was happy in this moment. I felt content.

“I’m going to rest my eyes for a few minutes and then I want to go again. We have to finish you off, now,” Damien said eagerly. I had forgotten how quickly; barely legal hotties could recover.

“Again? I won’t be able to walk.” I laughed and kissed his neck. He nuzzled my chest and tightened his grip on me.

“I guess you will just have to stay here with me, then,” Damien said.

“I guess I have no choice.” I could feel the smile form on his lips.

Damien won. I decided at that moment that I would tell Veronica about my affair with our hot young gardener and that I would tell the boys all about it over brunch. I think they would be envious. It was a win-win. I always enjoyed whenever I could rub something in their faces, and now they would be jealous because Damien’s dick was being rubbed
into my face and not theirs.

Damien propped his head up on my chest and gazed at my face while smirking. He knew he had bested me. He knew he finally wormed his way into my heart. Love was a label I hadn’t worn in a long time, but I was starting to think it looked good on me.

I looked into Damien’s starry-eyed expression and rubbed his buzzed hair. His smile beamed from ear to ear, but I quickly noticed his expression changed. A scowl had replaced the boyish smirk. His eyes had become fixated on me. They had a fury in them that I had never seen. The way a predator would look at its prey. His eyes frightened me.

“Son of a bitch!” he yelled out. His face turned completely red.

“What?” A worried look emerged on my face, but then I realized he wasn’t looking at me. He was looking out the window behind me.

“There’s someone out there watching us!” Damien said in a huff. He quickly clambered off me, off the bed, and ran for the door. “Fucking sicko! Fucking pervert!” he yelled as he opened the door.

I got out of the bed and quickly got dressed, buttoning my shirt up as I hurried out the door. I thought that maybe it was my mother or Rosie. It was bad enough to catch me with the help; I didn’t need to be naked too.

“You fucking sick son of a bitch.” I heard Damien bellow, followed by a loud splash.

I ran over to the side of the pool, but it was hard to see anything. I could hear the thrashing of the water and smell the chlorine as the pool’s water angrily was splashed around. I ran to the side of the pool house and flipped the lights to the pool, on. The water quickly became illuminated. Damien had the intruder by his drenched white t-shirt and was about to punch him.

“Damien, stop!” I yelled. He looked over at me. “I know him! I know him!”

“You know this pervert?” Damien asked.

“I’m not a pervert,” Ethan yelled back. He pushed Damien away.

Damien raised his arm again about to punch.

“Guys! Stop!” I ordered. They settled in the water, but did not take their eyes off one another. “Damien, this is my ex, Ethan.”

Damien glared at Ethan, then swam to the side of the pool and lifted himself out. His naked body glistened from the lit pool and summer moonlight. Ethan watched him closely with daggers for eyes. I ran over to the outside shower and grabbed two towels. I handed one to Damien. He glowered at me, clearly pissed about all of this. He wrapped the towel around his waist.

Ethan then swam over to the side and lifted himself out. His white t-shirt clung to his muscular body. I threw the towel at him.

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

“I need to talk to you.” Ethan wiped his face with the towel and then draped it over his shoulders. “Can we speak in private?” he asked.

“Absolutely not!” Damien barked, and his nostrils flared.

  “Please, Danny,” Ethan insisted.

They stood about five feet from one another and kept giving each other fierce glares. I stood back for a moment and peered at both of them. It struck me all at once, and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t seen it before. Damien was the younger version of Ethan. I indeed had a specific type of man. They shared a similar body type, attitude, and both had tattoos. Perhaps my initial attraction to Damien was because he was similar to Ethan. The only vast difference was eye color. Nothing was more captivating than Ethan’s blue-eyed gaze was, but nothing was more tempting than Damien’s dimples. Shit, I thought, From their looks, they could be brothers.

“You need to leave,” Damien said to Ethan as he moved a little closer to him.

“Fuck you!” Ethan barked back. He strutted up to Damien’s face. I was scared another fight would have developed, so I walked in between them and pushed them away by their chests. Throw them in some Jell-O or oil them up and this could have been extremely hot.

“Guys, you’re gonna wake up Veronica or Rosie,” I said. “Please quiet down.”

“Danny, can I please talk to you? It’s important,” Ethan asked.

“I’m not leaving you alone with him,” Damien said with a scowl.

“Damien, it’s okay. Go inside. I’ll only be a couple minutes,” I said.

“But Da—,” I cut him off before he could even say my name.

“Go!” I gestured with my hand. Damien pouted and then walked to the door of the pool house. He looked back at me. He looked defeated. Like a dog with his tail between his legs. He opened the door and walked through. Though it was dark, I could make out his figure in the shadows. He was lingering by the door in case I needed him.

“I didn’t mean to cause trouble,” Ethan said. “I guess he’s your new boyfriend.”

“Honestly, I don’t know the status of our relationship, but it’s none of your business. What are you doing here?” I was pissed. Ethan ruined my night. “I told you we would talk in the morning.”

“Well, if you’re going to get technical about it… it is morning,” Ethan smirked.

“Don’t do that. Don’t be cute.”

“I’m leaving. That’s why I’m here,” Ethan said.

  “What do you mean? Where?”

“I’m going to live in Paris for a year and then maybe London.”

“Why are you leaving?” I asked. A part of me was relieved to have him go, but then a part of me wanted him to stay. I felt like my emotions were all over the place.

  “It happened again,” Ethan said.

  “What did?”

“I got another text message. Danny, someone knows. I know it! I’m leaving town before…” Ethan quieted.

  “Before what?” I asked.

“Daniel, something bad is going to happen here. I want you to come with me. We can leave now. I’ll take care of everything. Just come with me.” He yanked on my arm wanting me to follow him, but I wouldn’t budge.

“What did the text message say?” I asked. Ethan turned stark white and froze. His eyes grew big, and his face shook, I assumed from nerves. “Well, can I at least read it for myself?” He pulled his phone out of his pocket and water poured out of it onto the concrete. It was waterlogged, non-responsive.

“I guess I need a new phone now,” Ethan said as he placed the soaked phone back into his pocket.

“Tell me what the message said.” Ethan shook his head.

“Come with me, please,” Ethan murmured.

I wanted to believe in my ex that just got out of the mental hospital, but again, there was no proof. I saw the anxiety on his face. He was acting differently. He wasn’t the man I once knew. The man I knew was confident and not scared of anything. This man before me was a stranger that wore Ethan’s shell.

“Okay, how’s this, how about you go home and get some sleep, and we will talk about this more in the afternoon.” I nodded at him and smiled. “Everything is going to be fine. I’m sure it’s not as bad as you think it is. Remember, you told me your anxiety gets the better of you sometimes. You look exhausted. I’m sure after some sleep things will be better.”

“I don’t need to fucking sleep! I need you to come with me!” Ethan hissed. He grabbed me by the arms and held on tightly. I backed up, but couldn’t break free from his grasp. The veins in his clammy arms slowly popped out.

“Ethan you’re hurting me.” I murmured.

Damien ran out from inside the pool house and punched Ethan right in the jaw. His grip loosened, and I backed away.

“Get the fuck out of here!” Damien roared while his arms flailed out in anger.

For the first time ever in my life, I was scared of Ethan. He never laid a hand on me before. “Ethan, leave,” I demanded.

“Danny, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I’m so sorry,” Ethan pleaded, trying to approach me.

“Go on, get out of here.” Damien pushed Ethan back.

“He’s going to kill us.” A steady stream of tears flowed down Ethan’s cheek. “He’s going to kill us, Danny. I don’t want to leave without you.”

“Get out of here!” Damien kicked at Ethan.

p; Ethan lunged at me, grabbed both my arms, and said, “I warned you! He’s coming,” while looking at me dead straight in the eyes.

Damien tugged at Ethan from behind until he let me go and then threw him on the ground. Ethan was slightly stunned, but then got up and ran towards the wooded area on the other side of the property. He stopped and looked back at me right before entering the thicket and then he was gone.

“I’m going to call the police,” Damien said.

  “No, please don’t.”

“Danny, he needs to be locked up. The guy is bat shit crazy. How does someone get like that?” Damien asked.

“It’s my fault. It’s all my fault.” I stared off at the spot where Ethan disappeared, and I wondered if he would ever be the same again.

MY RECURRING NIGHTMARE HAUNTED ME. I walked down the long hallway lined with large wooden antique doors. Again, all the doors were locked except for that one red door at the end of the hall; the door painted in blood. I turned the doorknob, opened the door, and walked through. The filthy water came up to my ankles and stank of mildew.

The full-length mirror that was supposed to be at the end of the room was gone. Instead, Ethan’s black Jeep was in the center of the room. I could hear the faint hum of the engine. I walked towards the driver’s side of the Jeep. The headlights were on, and someone was sitting behind the wheel with their head down and hands covering their face.

I’m about a foot away from the driver’s side door. It was Ethan; he was rocking back and forth. I walked up to the window, and I touched his shoulder. Ethan looked up at me; tears were streaming down his face. His eyes were bloodshot, and his lips were chapped.
