Giving myself away. Hooking up with an engaged man.
Ruining my friendship.
I pushed away the critical thoughts, sinking onto him further with each tentative thrust. Every one of his exhales ricocheted through me, reminding me what years of desire could do, writhing and growing like an invasive vine.
For once, I wasn’t a victim, a prisoner to my desires. It was liberating. The tremble of my lips shivered against him, and I could feel him pull, his manhood thundering with its own pulse as it pressed against the sides of my mouth.
“I’m going to cum,” he gasped before shutting his eyes closed tight and gripping my hair into his fists. I moved faster, lowering a hand to greet the round curve of his balls, eager to taste his ecstasy. My own head was spinning with pleasure, and I was sure nothing could disrupt this perfect moment, nothing except: “I love you!”
Which is what Trent called out in a howl as he exploded, filling my mouth with a warm, slightly acrid milk. But I could hardly notice it as it fell down my throat, my mind stuck on the three words, hovering in the air, distant and foreign sounding.
“What?” was all I could manage before the side door of the van opened quickly, with a sharp, rolling noise that shattered the strange atmosphere that surrounded us.
“Guess what Bailey! You won the—oh,” I pulled my head up off of Trent and turned, mortified to see Brandon’s face, frozen in shock. My mind went into panic, and I could sense Trent shuffling beneath me. I looked down to see that he was shoving himself back into his pants. I quickly moved off his lap just as Nick opened the driver’s door and Martin flopped into the front passenger’s seat.
“What are you guys doing in the back?” Martin called with a casual yawn.
“Uh…we were just talking,” I said, trying to control the wavering in my voice. I shot Brandon a look. He shut his mouth and slid into his seat, turning his head slowly to face the front of the van. I avoided eye contact with Trent and crawled over the back seat quickly, falling over onto the floor with a thud.
“Did Brandon tell you the news?” Martin asked, turning to face me with a wide smile. I buckled myself into the seat next to Brandon, completely avoiding eye contact.
“Uh, no, what is it?”
“You won the prize money!”
“Oh,” I said, the words not registering with me. My mind was still stuck on the palpable tension between Brandon, Trent and I. “What?”
“Go inside and get that two-hundred girlie,” Brandon said, and I turned to see a wicked smirk on his face. Suddenly what they said clicked.
“Wait, you’re joking right?”
“No,” Brandon said, raising an amused eyebrow. “We’re not. Go get your money.” I took in a deep breath, trying to steady my swimming thoughts. What was happening? This wasn’t my life. It wasn’t every night that I got the guy and the prize money, or you know, ever.
I opened the creaky van door and slid out of my seat, my feet greeted by the hard pavement below. The air swirled around me, muggy and heavy with a sharp howl that sent a shiver down my spine. Every sense was heightened, every movement of the world against me magnified.
The things I had done, they were irreversible. Every touch, every shiver, every glance between half closed eyes. They would hang between us like an unpaid debt for the rest of our lives.
