  Her and her horror movies.

“I don’t know,” the doctor looks horrified.

Ivory is floating in the air, her body lashing around. Hell, it looks more like The Exorcist, but she isn’t in pain; it’s like she is crying out in pleasure. Her breathing is heavy, and I can smell her arousal from here.

Is she having sex in her head?

“What the fuck is going on?” Rush shouts out.

“I don’t know. She has been in a coma for the last four weeks, and her vitals were steady, but it looks like whatever is keeping her there; in her own head has made sure she stays there.

It’s nothing I have ever seen or heard of before.

“Where’s my baby?” Ivory’s mom runs in. “Why didn’t you tell me she was like this? I would have driven right over.” She looks at her daughter, fear in her eyes. Watching as her daughter acts like this in thin air. “Who is doing this to her?” she cries.

“We don’t know. She saved these girls with gifts, she was talking to this vampire Sirrus, trying to see if his mind was shielded, and she was knocked out cold. She hasn’t woken up; that was roughly four weeks ago. We thought we could get her to wake up by now,” I tell them. “We have brought in every supernatural specialist we can think of but nothing.”

“She saved some girls?” Ivory’s dad asks.

“She did; she had these visions and saved them. Everything was fine until she used her magic on Sirrus, and from the look on his face, he didn’t know what happened. We will figure this out. Your daughter is strong.”

“I thought because she is this bigger power, she would be safe, that this place would keep her safe. Look at her for God’s sake.” He points to her daughter before looking away.

Ivory cries out. I know that cry from anywhere; she just had a release, and she slowly floats back down to the bed, her cheeks flushed, but she doesn’t wake.

“I have found someone who can help.” Finn comes into the room and spots Ivory’s parents and gives them an apologetic look.

“Finn, what did you find?” Finn brings in a young boy who looks about eighteen with mocha skin and pitch-black hair.

“He can see people’s dreams and thoughts. He might be able to tell us what is holding Ivory to that place she’s at.” He brings the boy closer to Ivory.

I’m glad Ivory is lying back in bed. I don’t think she would be comfortable knowing what we all have witnessed.

“You can read thoughts?” Caspian asks fascinated.

“Only when I touch them. I can control my gift, so I can block out thoughts if touched since there’s no way I want to know what my girlfriend thinks every time I hold her hand or give her a kiss,” he scoffs.

“Hurry and tell us what you see,” Zeke urges him.

We all watch as he sits on the bed and takes hold of Ivory’s hand. His face starts to scrunch up, and his eyelids start to flicker. “She is at a place that has been created. She thinks she’s in the hotel trying to keep the magical world safe. She feels so alone, she feels so much pressure, and she’s heartbroken.”

Heartbroken? “Why is she heartbroken?” I ask.

“In that world, you all have chosen another girl. You all are unclaimed in that world. She sees you with this girl, a girl she feels betrayed by, a girl she saved.”

“Holy shit, he is talking about one of the girls she saved. Which girl, can you see which girl,” Zeke asks.

“She saw you all sleep with her. She walked in and you were with her at the same time. She has anger in her veins; it’s making her do bad things, little things, but it’s getting worse, and she isn’t able to handle it.” He pauses and screams out.

“What is it?” I run to him.

“She’s not the only one in there. Someone is after her. They have been planning this, making her this way, altering her magic; she has slept with him, but it was a trick; he’s trying to claim her as his,” his voice strained.

“She slept with someone in the fucking coma. Who the fuck was it? Who is the fucking girl Ivory thinks we chose over her?” Rush shouts at him.

“Rush, rein it in, can you not see it’s getting hard for him?” Caspian tells him. But I can see the saddened look in his eyes.

I’m not happy about hearing this, but it seems whoever has put her in this coma has made sure to get his own way with her.

“She slept with someone who is very, very dark. He is slowly dimming her light.” He palms his head. “He knows I’m here; he knows I know who he is.” His breathing is getting heavy. “He’s the dark power.” Once he says the words, he is flown across the room, his body smacking into the wall until he topples on to the floor, groaning in pain.

“She is trapped there; he isn’t letting her out until she is ready,” the boy grunts, standing up.

“Did you catch the girl’s name?” I ask him.

“Kayleigh, I think.” I watch him take a seat.

“Kayleigh? Why would her head make it Kayleigh?” I wonder. I need to go and see her. “I need to talk to her.” I head to the door.

“Do you think she’s in on this?” Ivory’s mom asks.

“I don’t know, but I will find out.” I head to the door again.

“I’m coming with you,” Rush says matter of factly.

“Don’t do anything stupid,” Finn calls out.

We head down the elevator and knock on Kayleigh’s door. She looks at us in surprise and lets us in. I look at her, wondering where in Ivory’s mind would she think I would choose Kayleigh over her.

Kayleigh is pretty in a way, but nothing compared to my girl.

Before I have time to say anything, Rush has pinned her to the wall, holding on to her throat, his eyes dark. “Are you helping the Big Bad hurt Ivory? I swear if you aren’t honest with me, I will pop your head off like a bottle cap,” he seethes.

Her eyes widen in fear. “What? No. I haven’t done anything, I swear. I wouldn’t do that.” I look at her, look into her eyes; she is either telling the truth or she is a very good actress.

“Rush, let her go.” I know he is hesitant, but he complies. “Ivory is trapped in a coma world, and in that world, we have all broken her heart for you. So you can see why we assumed it was you.” Her eyes go wide; I see her neck and cheeks flush bright red.

“Oh...umm. I…” she stumbles over her words. “I wouldn’t do that to her. Is she going to be able to wake up? I’ll help in any way I can. I can think up some spells, see if any of that will work. Maybe we can ask Amber for help. I remember when her orb liked Ivory. Maybe she can think of something.”

Rush looks her over. “If you are lying, I will kill you. I wouldn’t think twice about doing it,” he says before walking out the door.

We all head to Amber’s room and knock. After a few minutes, she pokes her head out and smiles when she sees us. “Guys, what’s up?” She opens the door a little and then closes it. “How’s Ivory?” Concern radiates in her eyes.

“It seems that she is trapped in a coma world. We know what she is thinking about; we are going to try things to pull her out of it,” I say to her.

“Yeah, anything I can do to help? Is it okay if I meet you guys up there? I just need to grab a few things.” She walks back in her room.

We head back to the elevator, and Kayleigh crosses her arms and huffs. “What’s up?” Rush asks.

“You went all psycho on my ass, but you do nothing to her. I smile and let you in my room and I almost get choked to death. Her not coming now and her hardly opening the door makes me suspicious,” she complains.

Rush and I look at one another before we run back down the hall. We open Amber’s door, and she is sitting on the floor with a picture of Ivory in the middle of a painted pentagram with blue orbs around her. The walls are covered in cryptic letters.

Those orbs are probably why we didn’t know she was using dark magic. It’s light, and it’s connected to Ivory’s magic. Amber quickly stands, hundreds of light orbs morphing all around her.

  “You ar
e the reason why?” I say angrily.

“There was no way I would have been able to get in this hotel walking through the front door, but luckily your girl poofed me here.” She smiles. “Took you all long enough.”

“Why are you doing this? Why put Ivory through all this?” I ask her.

“My boss wants her, and he is close to having her. It shows how vulnerable a girl can be when the loves of her life choose someone else. How she opens up when upset. But it’s her mind that imagined all the people, the hotel growing. Even in her own head, she still wants to save the world.”

“Bring her back,” Rush growls at her.

“No can do. She will wake once she’s ready. Trust me though, there is another surprise yet to come.” The orbs buzz around her; huge red eyes form before she is gone. I look around her room and spot two dummies in the bathroom, dummies she used magic on to be her parents. Again, Ivory magically brought them here.

“I can’t believe it. I opened up to her. I told her all about my insecurities.” Kayleigh wraps her arms around her waist.

“She probably used it for coma you. Making it more believable.”

“What did she mean that another surprise is yet to come?” Rush asks me.

“I have no idea, but I’m sure it’s not good.” We head back upstairs, ready to tell everyone that Amber is behind it.

When we get into the room, Ivory’s parents are on either side of her, Zeke and Caspian are sitting on the sofa looking a little withdrawn. They need to drink some more blood. I open my mouth to say that when the doctor walks into the room, getting off the phone.

  That doesn’t look good.

“As you know I have been trying to take some of her blood, but her body always stopped me. We finally took some blood a few days ago, and the results have come back. It seems that a poison was in her system, something we have never come across before, so we guessed it must be supernatural related. A friend of mine did some research, and it looks like it intensifies anger. Since she is in a coma, it could affect her in the world she is in.”

“I sensed her anger, why she was acting like she has in that world, it’s because of that poison,” the boy says, holding an icepack on the back of his head.

“That’s not the only thing,” the doctor says, looking to each of us. “She’s pregnant.”

  “Wait, what, pregnant?”

“She can’t be. We are all vampires, and she hasn’t had sex with anyone else,” Rush says, coming closer. He looks at her, thinking of her when she was in the air.

“When did you take the tests?” I ask him.

“Four days ago, it has come back that she is.” We all look at one another, our mouths open in shock. “I have ordered an ultrasound to be brought here so we can find out how far she is, but she is definitely pregnant.

  She is carrying a child.

  “A baby,” I whisper.

“So who is the father?” the doctor asks.

I look at Rush, Zeke, and Caspian. “We don’t know.”

I walk to her, taking hold her hand. “Ivory, please wake up,” I beg her.

Her mom takes hold of her hand, tears in her eyes. “Come back to us.”

“I love you so much, Ivory, please wake up for us,” I look at her stomach, a baby. Thoughts of little versions of Ivory are running around my head when I hear Ivory’s mom gasp. I look up to see Ivory’s eyes open.

  She’s awake.

  She came back to us.

I see her eyes glisten with tears until she looks around the room and then her eyes go dark, hurt and anger forming in them before she jumps up from the bed. If looks alone could kill.

  Kayleigh would have no chance.

  My Screwed Up Life

  Prologue

  Now 2015

I move my body to the beat of the music. I don’t think, I just move. I think the few shots of tequila helped loosen me up. My eyes are closed and I let everything wash away. My head has been in overdrive since I moved back here, but now I let all thoughts drift off to the abyss. I raise my arms above my head, clasping my hands together on top of my head, swaying my hips side to side. I feel so free right now. Another song comes on, slower, more sensual. I continue to dance, letting the music take over me, guiding me.

I am so engrossed in the music, I don’t notice a presence of someone behind me. I feel hands on my hips, moving with me. By the touch, I know straight away it’s Dean. I know by now how his touch alone ignites something deep inside me, the electric pull. He pins my body against his. My ass to his front. Swaying with me.

I feel my body start to heat up. I still don’t open my eyes. I am afraid as soon as I do, it may end. I let the music run through me. I feel his hard erection press against me. I gasp. I can’t help but push myself closer to him. I am so turned on, I have such an urge that I want my body to connect with his in any way possible.

My breathing is coming in heavily, I am literally panting. I know my lace panties are soaked. I lean my head back and I feel his hands slide lower, closer to the destination that I want him to touch. My head has gone all lightheaded. Then I feel another body in front of me. I feel his hard cock against my front. He moves with us. Jason, my bad boy, pushes himself closer to me. Apart from Dean, no other man can make my body crave their next touch. I am trapped by the two men who are my undoing. For the last week, I feel we have been in some foreplay. With the secret innocent touches, the lustful stares. This has been just one huge mega build up of pure sexual desire.

  I need more.

  God, I need more.

We move like we are in sync. If anyone is watching us right now, I bet they’ll think we are in some sort of intro to an erotic movie. How we are moving, how close we are. How much we are grinding against each other.

I have never been so turned on in my entire life. I want to scream “fuck me now, please.”

Their hands start moving all over my body, my sides, my hips, my waist, my ass. I feel fingers glide against my most sensitive part. My head falls back. I feel that any second my body is going to collapse on the floor if it wasn’t for the two men who are my every darkest fantasy holding me up. I know no one can see what they are doing, as their bodies are shielding mine. A pair of hands grips my hips as another strokes up and down on my bare thighs.

My heart is beating so fast, I feel like I am about to have a heart attack. Can you have a heart attack at eighteen?

I should be worried that people are probably watching, guessing what these two men are doing right now, but I don’t give a shit. They can fuck me right here on the dance floor and I wouldn’t give a damn.

My dress glides up, I feel fingers stroke my soaked underwear, then they enter my wet folds. I try so hard not to scream. I feel nips and licks against my neck. Whoever is touching my folds is gliding my wetness back and forth, then they touch my clit, pinching it, causing me to moan. I am sure I wasn’t quiet, but the music covers it up.

I feel another hand glide down, feeling two different hands working me. Fingering me as another rubs my clit. My legs are shaking. It is sensation overload. I feel two erections grinding against me to the beat of the song. I feel their fingers go faster, I feel fingers stroke my clit as another penetrates me, entering one finger then two. I don’t know who is doing what, but OH MY GOD.

It’s too much. I can’t take any more.

I feel the ache build up between my legs. I feel like I am on drugs, I am on such a high I never want to come down. I know it isn’t the alcohol. I feel something happening. My legs are trembling, I feel like I can’t breath. Then a strong sensation takes over, taking me so far away I see stars behind my eyes. My whole body feels like I ran a ten-mile marathon. My legs have turned to jelly. I have no energy left. I finally open my eyes, they land on a pair of green ones. Jason looks at me like he wants to eat me. Devour me.

I feel myself getting turned on all over again.

“You taste so good,” I hear Dean huskily say in my ear.
I swear I almost came again by those words alone.

  Chapter 1

  2010

I feel the tears roll down my cheeks as I hear my parents shouting at each other again. This has been happening more and more for the last couple of months. They think because my door is closed and they stay downstairs I can’t hear them, but I can.

  I can always hear them.

I look out my bedroom window looking at the stars above, hugging Mr. Snuggles my teddy. He is a dog, I love him to bits. Dean, my best friend, won him at a fair. I instantly loved it. He is so soft and cuddly. I squeeze him harder as the yelling gets louder.

Why do they always fight? They love each other, you don’t yell like that if you love each other. I use to hope one day I would have what they have. The way my mom looks at my dad with pure adoration, and how he used to kiss her neck any chance he got. I want that when I find my soul mate, my future husband, but now, things have changed, and I don’t know why.

I asked Mom once why do they keep fighting but all she told me was that when you are older, sometimes adults fight but it doesn’t mean you don’t love the other person. I never understood what she was saying. I still don’t. It didn’t make sense. I hug Mr. Snuggles closer, I know my tears are falling on his head making the fur all wet.

I hear a tap, tap sound on my window, I quickly wipe away the tears on the back of my hand and arm and look down. I see Jason and Dean standing there with little pebbles in their hands. I almost feel relieved that they are here. I need them now more than anything, they can make me feel better for a little while. I open the window and watch as they climb the tree and over the windowsill into my room. I stand back watching them effortlessly climb through.

They have been climbing through my window for the last few months since the arguments between my parents started happening.

They both come to me, holding me, hugging me.
