seen her with was checking his tyres. The minute he saw her, he got up and said something which made her laugh.
He used to make her laugh like that.
Taking long strides, he reached them. Her back was turned to him, so she didn't see him charging towards the man who had taken her away from him. He flung himself on top of the surprised man and started to punch him.
"Stop it! Stop!" She screamed.
Her hands pulled on his jacket but he ignored her and punched the man right on his face.
"Let him go!" She screamed and with surprising strength managed to pull him away from her boyfriend.
"You want to know why I left you?" She yelled at him and then gestured towards her boyfriend. "This is why!"
Her hands went to her forehead as the man behind him groaned.
"I can't live with you and your possessive jealousy anymore!" She continued. "I was suffocating every single moment I was with you! I couldn't talk to anyone, I couldn't have friends and I couldn't even...breathe!"
He felt as if his heart was being wrenched out painfully from his chest. She was crying now and then seeing the blood on her boyfriend’s face, rushed over to help him.
"Just leave me alone!" She cradled her boyfriend's head. "Leave us alone!"
She hated him. This sensation was even more terrible than her cheating on him.
He turned around and walked away. She was sobbing loudly and it was because of him. He had beaten up the man who had brought her laughter and he in turn had given her only grief.
He was a terrible man and he had hurt her. For how long had he been this way?
