by Riley Forrest

"Er, um, nothing - I'm fine." He stated bluntly. But his body language had completely changed and before she could protest he was putting on his leather jacket. "Um, it's late, and I've had a long shift today, and have to work the double tomorrow. So I better go get some shut eye. I'll call you."

"Err, but, oh... Okay, um, let me walk you to the door.." Ellen stammered, unable to comprehend that he was leaving. The sudden change in his behaviour knocking her for six.

She walked him to the door, and he turned back to give her a quick peck on the cheek, then without saying another word, walked out into the night. Ellen instinctively closed the door behind him, although part of her wanted to desperately chase after him and demand to know what he was playing at. But something told her to leave it. If he really was "The One", she would see him again. She'd just have to relax, and let destiny take control. Something which historically she was not very good at.

Ellen looked at her clock and saw that it was nearly 2am. He'd been at her house for nearly 2 hours but it had seemed like just a few moments. Suddenly, she felt exhausted and couldn't wait to get into bed. She quickly brushed her teeth, poured herself a large glass of water, and collapsed on her bed, pulling the duvet tight around her. She hadn't bothered to check her phone, or turn the volume off, something that was normally a ritual for Ellen. Instead, she shut her eyes, and within seconds drifted off into deep, coma-like sleep.

  Chapter 7

9 hours later, Ellen awoke to an alarm ringing. "Oh my god, the house is on fire!" she immediately thought, vaguely smelling smoke in the flat which she wasn't used to, not being a smoker herself. Then she realised it was just her alarm, which she'd forgot to disable for the weekend, and that the smoke she smelled was Eduardo's cigarette from the previous night. Suddenly, a montage of the night's events flashed through her mind, and alternately cringed and smiled while she played the scenes back. Then she remembered the rather strange abrupt way he had left, almost as if he was forcing himself to drag himself away from her, but yet didn't really want to go. "So why go?" her inner voice said. "Maybe he had something to do today, he did say he was working a double shift after all." She slowly got out of bed, and noticed the way her body ached. But in a good way. The way she used to feel after having spent 4 hours at dance rehearsals as a girl. Then she became aware of the slight soreness in her crotch, but again, it felt good to her - not bad. Like she'd been sexually satisfied by a guy with a really nice shaped cock, which of course she had been. She snickered again at the thought of him inside her, and thought what the hell, maybe I'll go back to bed and have a little more fun with myself if he doesn't want to. Let me just go turn that blasted phone alarm off. She hopped over to her phone, ignoring the dull thud in her head, then skipped back into her bedroom and snuggled down into the warm duvet.

Fortunately the day looked dull and grey outside - typical London spring weather, the kind that made you want to either stay in bed all day, or find a pub with a warm fire to snuggle up to someone with. She checked her phone, half expecting to see a text from Eduardo, or maybe even a call, but there was nothing. Just a few social media alerts from Sandra and Michelle, thanking her for a lovely meal, and teasing about what a hot waiter had served them. "Ha, little do you know..." She thought to herself. The thought made her smile, and she lay back on her mountain of pillows, and slowly moved her hand over her warm body, and down into the wetness of her slightly stinging crotch. Her clit was still puffy and bulging from the stimulation it had received the night before. As she touched it gently with her middle finger, her nipples immediately stood to attention, and she rewarded them with a firm rub. Then, she sucked her middle finger and ran it over her nipple, the cool air causing it stand erect out from her cami.

"Hmmmmmmmm" she moaned, then reached over into her draw to retrieve her vibrator and her butt plug. Smiling at the thought of his finger in her anus, she slid the butt plug first into her dripping slit, then gently eased it backwards into her butt hole. It hurt. Especially after the exercise it had got the night before. But Ellen was so turned on, she left it in, enjoying the extra sensitivity that she was feeling from being slightly sore. The vibrator was a good 9 inches, and around the same thickness that Eduardo had been. She slowly stuck it up inside her and pushed it all the way in as deep as it would go, while flexing her back to accommodate the butt plug on the other side. Then, she spat on her finger, and moved the wetness over her now pulsating clit.

She flipped the vibrator on, and for a few moments imagined that it was Eduardo making love to her again, the butt plug being his finger, and the vibrator his cock. But this time with her finger on her clit. She thrusted up and down until her body succumbed to the immensely pleasurable feeling, and she let herself have an even more powerful orgasm than she'd experienced the night before with Eduardo. Again, her mind swam for a few moments, and the warm post-orgasmic rush washed over her tensed body. Slowly she let herself relax, and gently pulled the sex toys out from her now rather tender holes. "Oh my god," she breathed. "I don't remember coming this hard for years, let alone twice in day! Someone must be looking out for me up there." she thought. "But boy, I feel a bit achey now! The endorphins must have finally worn off..." She thought, and reached over to her bedside table and retrieved a couple of painkillers. She gulped down the water on her bedside, and again dozed off into sleep.

  Chapter 8

An hour later, Ellen awoke to her phone chiming. She looked down and saw a text had arrived from a mobile number she hadn't stored in her phone, but which looked vaguely familiar. "Eduardo!" she thought to herself. She opened up the text, but was almost immediately stricken with a sick feeling as she read the words typed in all caps "IS THIS THE LITTLE TRAMP WHO SLEPT WITH MY HUSBAND LAST NIGHT?!"

"Oh my god!" Ellen gasped, "He's married?!" and with that she started crying. All the hopes and dreams that had been building up inside her suddenly evaporated, and she was left with a sinking feeling that she'd given herself to a man who clearly didn't deserve her. She felt terrible on the woman too, and tried to console herself with the thought that at least she wasn't in her shoes. But it didn't do much good. She really had thought Eduardo would be her prince. But now it seemed he was turning out to be like all the other frogs. She didn't know whether she should text back to the woman or not telling her not to worry. She wouldn't be having anything else to do with her husband. But instead, decided the best thing she could possibly do was block the number. That way neither the cheating rat, nor his betrayed wife could bother her again. Ellen felt a slight pang of remorse as she confirmed that she did indeed want to block Eduardo's number, but knew she was doing the right thing. Suddenly, she felt ravenously hungry so got up, made herself a baguette with parma ham and cheese, poured herself a pint of orange juice, and decided to spend the day huddled up on her sofa watching rom-coms.

  Chapter 9

After an early night, Ellen woke Sunday morning to the sun blazing in through her bedroom window. The air was still cool in her bedroom, but at least the sun had decided to come out. Still, it wasn't enough to shake off the disappointed feeling she had as a result of Eduardo turning out to be nothing more than a cheating, lying, love rat. "And to think I thought he could be 'The One'" she said to herself. She sullenly got out of bed, determined not to waste the rest of the weekend. "I'll feel better after a hot shower" she thought, and turned up the heat as high as it would go to create a sauna effect in her bathroom. The aches and pains from her workout the other night eased up, and her sore parts had all but recovered. She washed extra carefully down below, and then vaguely remembered that they hadn't used protection. "Shit," she thought to herself, "When was my last period?" She anxiously tried to remember, then realised it must have been around 2 weeks previously, which meant she was now right in the middle of her cycle - and at her most fertile. "Damn, another thing I have to deal with now" she said out loud, realising that she'd have to get the morning after pill from the chemist before work as soon as it opened on Monday. She was in the mi
ddle of fretting about this, when all of a sudden there was a loud, urgent knock at her door.

  Chapter 10

Dressed in a pale blue tracksuit as she was about to go for a run, Ellen rushed over to the door and looked through the peephole. She half expected to see an angry woman staring back at her, ready to lay into her, but there wasn't a woman. It was Eduardo. She contemplated telling him to bugger off, but she knew she had to speak to him so she quickly unlatched the door. What she saw was Eduardo wearing a very guilty expression, along with grey tracksuit bottoms and a black hoodie. He looked like he hadn't slept much, and she could smell the stale cigarette smoke on his breath. "Can I come in?" He implored.

"Fine," she sighed. "But I'm really not best pleased with you!" she huffed as she stalked through her living room, to the sofa which now looked so innocent in the daylight. She could hardly believe it had been the venue for her night of passion with this all but stranger. And here there were not 48 hours later, already breaking up.

"Look, I, I..." he stammered, "I really am sorry for what's happened. I didn't mean to hurt anyone. Or get hurt..." She looked at him as if to say "Oh really?" But he limped on weakly, like a deer that had been shot in the leg, "Look, this is the truth, OK... Me and Denise were finished a long time ago. We've been married for 8 years, together for 12, and it hasn't been right for a long, long time. The only reason we are still 'together,' is for financial reasons. I literally can't afford to move out of our house which we co-own, or pay for the legal fees to divorce her. Even though she makes me utterly miserable every, single day.

“When I saw you at the restaurant the other night, I just couldn't help but notice this bright, young, fun vibe you were giving off, and I just wanted to forget everything for the night. I didn't expect things to go so far, but when I saw you back here, your cheeks all rosy, and that butter-wouldn't-melt look on your face, I, I... got carried away. I'm sorry. Truth is, this is probably hurting me way more than it's hurting you. You're a stunner and you can go out and get any man you want. And they'd be lucky to have you. Me? I've got a ball and chain around my ankle, and no matter how many hours I work at the restaurant, I still never seem to have enough to break free. You know how expensive London is to live in.

“I've tried couch-surfing on friends' sofas, but after a while I end up back at the house with Denise, where at least we've got our own rooms. It's far from perfect, but I can't live like a student anymore, I'm 34 next year. Please, you've got to believe me. There's nothing going on with Denise anymore, we haven't slept together in nearly 2 years. I swear it Ellen, I swear!" Throughout his speech, Ellen stood looking non-plussed with her arms folded across her chest. She knew she could be easily mislead, but for some reason, she actually did believe what Eduardo was saying. Probably down to all the hurt in his big grown eyes, that still made her melt whenever he fixated them on her. Again, she got the weird feeling that she was meant to be with him - forever - and the fact he had a psycho ex-wife (well, nearly ex-wife), wasn't his fault, was it? Surely a little technicality like that couldn't stand in the way of true love. But she wasn't going to let him off that easily. She gave him a stern look, took in a deep breath, then said:

"OK, let's just suppose I do believe you. And I do forgive you. Then what? She'll never let us be happy. I mean, suppose you did want to date me. She'd never allow it. She'd clearly still madly in love with you, otherwise why send me those texts? I thought when the door knocked it would be her, coming to punch my lights out! Do you know what a sucky feeling that is?"

"I know, I know, and again, I'm so sorry. But I promise you - she doesn't love me. She just hasn't found anyone else yet, and with her looks fading, she's just turned into a bitter old cow. She doesn't want me, she really doesn't. This isn't love. It's just her being bored and having nothing better to do than mess up any chance I might have at happiness. I promise you, there isn't a hope in hell we'd ever get back together, on both sides. As soon as she finds someone else, or as soon as I can get enough money together to buy her out of the house, she will leave me alone. She's not like this when I go to stay at friends' houses. I mean she still texts and calls, but she doesn't keep track of my every movement. Like I said, she's just bored and vindictive."

"Okay, so.. You still haven't answered my question. Do you want to date me? Is it worth the hassle, for both of us?"

"Ellen, of course I want to date you. You're beautiful, and hot, and - oh my god - sooo sexy. And the other night- wow - just wow, I have never met a woman like you. I just felt like physically, we just clicked, you know?"

"That's what I thought too, but then you confused me by leaving so soon afterwards. Was it to go back to her? And if not, why did you leave like that?"

"Honestly, Ellen, it was not to see her. No way. If you want to know the stupid, embarrassing truth... It's because I was scared. Scared at how much I liked you already. Scared you wouldn't like me back. Scared that if this turned into something, I'd have to tell you about the evil ex-wife and that may put you off, and I'd like you even more by that point. Look, Ellen, I see a lot of beautiful women in my job, but none of them has caught my eye the way you did the other night. And now that we've, um, spent some time together, I just know you're the type of person I could spend a lot of time with. And maybe, even, um... who knows... " He suddenly went bashful, but Ellen needed to hear the words, "What, tell me!" she demanded.

"Er, um, I was going to say, maybe even fall in love with. It's bizarre but I already feel.... Something... towards you.. like we might be soul mates. Please don't tell me it's just me?" He begged.

"No... No, it's not just you," Time to put him out of his misery, she thought, "I felt the same way too. It was... It was electric. I've never quite experienced anything like it, if I'm honest."

"Me too, me too." He murmured, then reached out for her and pulled her in for a deep, lingering kiss. "I don't know where this is going to end up.... But I really, really want to find out." And with that, Ellen decided to put all concerns out of her mind, and trust her heart. Sure, Michelle and Sandra would tell her she was crazy, and destined to get hurt yet again, but she couldn't let them rule her life. She had to live for herself. And she knew that even if she tried to stop seeing Eduardo, neither of them would actually let that happen. The pull between them was too strong. And before she knew it, they were both horizontal on the sofa, tearing each other's clothes off, in a desperate bid to make love again as quickly as humanly possible.

  Epilogue

Nearly 10 months later, Ellen let out an anguished cry and with a final push, a small, rumpled infant emerged from in between her legs.

"You did it, baby, you did it!" Eduardo cried, tears streaming down his handsome face.

"I, uh, I did it!" I can't believe I'm actually a mum, she thought to herself but didn't have the energy to articulate.

The midwife towelled down the infant, and placed it on Ellen's bare chest. Then covered them both with a sheet. "It's a boy! I knew it! I knew it would be" Eduardo exclaimed. "Oh Els, thank you, thank you for giving me a beautiful little baby son. You've made me the happiest man in the world. Now, please do me the honour of becoming my wife! The divorce has gone through now, so there's no excuse. Please Ellen, let's be a real family?"

She smiled and nodded her head. Then peered down at the little bundle of fluff, who already had a mass of dark brown hair. The little fellow tried to blink a few times, and Ellen could see that he also had brown eyes - just like his dad. He was perfect.

Somehow, despite the odds, it had all worked out. Eduardo hadn't been lying when he had said his ex was a psycho. But he had moved into Ellen's place, and eventually the calling and texting had stopped, and they were able to fall deeply in love, with few interruptions. Shortly after they said “I love you” for the first time, Ellen peed on a stick, and to his surprise (but not really hers), they found out she was pregnant. This seemed to make them fall even deeper in love, and now with the birth of their son, Ellen's tumultuous world seemed almost entire
ly complete. Just one more thing to finalise, she thought, then turned to Eduardo who was beaming beatifically at his newborn child, "What shall we call him?"

"Edward," he said. "After me. Then the next one we can call 'Ella' after you."

"Edward and Ella. That's perfect. I love it. But let me recover from having this one first OK?"

"Yes, ma'am. Plus, you've got a wedding to plan, don't forget?"

  "I do, don't I?"

"Yep, you sure do. I can't wait to see my bride at the alter. I love you so much, baby."

"I love you too, my darling.” she sighed. Then, with her precious bundle still in her arms, she shut her eyes, a contented smile on her lips. To think it had all started with a night of passion at a little Italian restaurant in North London. I'm a lucky girl, Ellen thought to herself, the luckiest one in the world. Sandra and Michelle wouldn’t be making fun of her anymore. She’d found her soul mate, and now had a family to love and adore and who adored her back. In less than 10 months, she’d turned from a girl into a woman. And for the first time since her mother’s death, she finally felt at peace with herself.

  Perfect For Him

  Chapter One

I walked along the empty corridor, clutching piles of books to my chest. I took a deep breath, bringing my breasts into an upward gesture. Looking around, I realized that not much people had arrived, yet. It was only seven o’ clock in the morning, after all. First period doesn’t start until eight thirty. Which gave me plenty of time to go through the chemistry quiz that I was about to have today.

I would admit that I was a little nervous considering that this was an important quiz I needed to pass. I had worked hard on this and stayed up all night just to look through the answers. And I still couldn’t say that I was confident enough to take it.
