With a quick peck to her brow, Jayce said, "I'm thankful for Tiara, returning to my life and giving me her love."
Patting the arms around her, Tiara said, "I am thankful that Jayce had the patience to wait for me to realize how much I love her, and showing me my place has always been in Silver Waters." She gazed up at Jayce, the sparkle of excitement bright in her eyes. "Go ahead, honey."
A joyous grin spread across Jayce's face, as she glanced one at a time at everyone present. "And we are grateful to share with family and friends..." Jayce paused, rubbed her hands gently across Tiara's stomach, as everyone leaned toward them expectantly. "Tiara and I, we're having a baby."
"Hot, damn," Slim hollered, jumping up so fast, he knocked his chair over. He rushed to Tiara and Jayce, locking them in a tight embrace. "I'm gonna be a granddaddy. Yee-haw!"
AFTER THE WELL wishes, the football game, dessert, and one final cleaning everyone had gone to their respective homes, leaving an exhausted Tiara and Jayce behind. Tiara wrapped her arms around Jayce, kissing her quickly, and laying her head against Jayce's chest. "I had a great time, but I'm just as glad it's over."
"Me, too. Come on," Jayce said, taking her hand, they walked up to the master bedroom and prepared for bed. Once settled, with the light turned off, Jayce turned to her, snuggling close. "I love you."
Tiara loved the husky tones, the affection staring back from those remarkable eyes, when Jayce spoke the words. "And I love you, forever."
"I hope so, because I shall never release you, Red."
"You don't want to deal with child support?" Tiara teased.
Jayce smirked, before pinching her areola. "Not funny, please don't tease about that."
"Ouch." Tiara didn't know why she'd pushed, other than sometimes she needed reassurance that her new life wasn't a dream. "I'm sorry, honey. That was uncalled for."
"You're forgiven. Now, we have further things to be thankful for."
"Yeah?"
Jayce's tongue snaked out and slowly caressed her lips. Tiara's gaze latched on to Jayce's breast, a taut nipple straining against the material covering her. The heat in Tiara's body quickened, and finally she couldn't stand the delay any longer. She needed Jayce, and knew with all her heart, the feelings were returned. "I'll love you forever."
