“Wait. You call what we just did sweet and slow?”
He laughed. “For a werewolf? Yes, definitely. Everything we’ve done since the night you came here… very much vanilla.”
“That was you going easy on me?”
“It’s not like I had a choice. You’re…”
The tenderness in his green eyes threw her off guard.
“You’re so small and fragile…”
She huffed. “Well, wait until the next full moon. We’ll break everything in this apartment. ‘Twilight’ style.”
He laughed wholeheartedly and pulled her down into his arms.
“We’ll have to send the servants away first,” she added.
“Sure thing. I’ll even kick Matt out of the building.” He kissed the top of her head. “Anything for the ‘Twilight’ sex you’re promising.”
Claudia smiled and snuggled into his chest. “Twilight” sex. What a silly idea. With a werewolf, even. Well… she had always been Team Jacob.
