A confession
I have witnessed many moving scenes between owners and their animals in my time. You can’t always be certain what people are thinking, of course, and I would never want to intrude on those painful and personal moments by asking.
The story in this book about a teenage boy and his beloved Labradors ‘Honey’ and ‘Buster’ is, in fact, my story and I knew exactly what the boy was thinking because I was that boy.
