His Little Red Lily
Page 11
After he spilled his warm seed inside of her, he rested for a moment on top of her, propping up most of his weight on his arms on either side of hers. Breathing hard, he rolled off onto his back, grabbing her into his arms as he did.
Lily cuddled up close to him and listened to his heartbeat gradually slow down. “Jesse?” she said tentatively, still breathing hard herself.
“Yes, love?”
“You reached the height of pleasure, didn’t you? Like how I did when you spanked me that one time and then again today.”
“Yes, I did. Thank you, Lily. It felt mighty nice.”
“It felt nice for me too.”
He gave her a squeeze in response.
“Jesse?”
“Hmm?”
“Was today my last day singing in the saloon?”
Jesse reached down and pulled the quilt on the bed over them. He kissed her forehead and said, “No, darlin’, you can keep singing if you want. How about once a week on Saturday? It can be the big event every week.”
She smiled, happy to have received his permission. She also felt surprised. “You’ve been thinking about this.”
“Yeah, well, you don’t give up very easily on what you want. Is performing once a week often enough for you?”
“It’s perfect,” she said, sighing. “Thank you, Jesse.” She ran her hand along his arm. “You know, you should be glad I don’t give up on what I want. I’ve been wanting you since I was fifteen years old.” When he chuckled, she added saucily, “I always get what I want.”
“Is that right? Do you want a smacked bottom?”
“Yes,” she said slowly, not entirely sure which answer would work better in her favor.
He laughed and popped her on her bottom once. “Looks like you were right.”
She giggled and then switched the subject back to singing. “Should I perform as myself, or should I keep performing as the Red Rose?”
He stroked her hair. “Hmm. I think you should perform as yourself. You won’t always want to wear a disguise, will you?”
“No, probably not.”
“I’ve got it,” he said, snapping his fingers. “How about instead of the Red Rose, you perform as the Red Lily?”
She shook her head. “There’s no such thing as a red lily,” she argued. “They’re white.”
“That’s not true, I’ve seen a red lily before. They’re just rarer than the white ones.”
“I don’t believe you,” she asserted.
He raised an eyebrow slowly. “No? Want me to prove it?”
She nodded. “Yes, next time you see one, show me. Then maybe I’ll believe you.”
“Deal.” Jesse sat up suddenly and flipped her over his lap. Lily shrieked as his hand came down hard and fast. She squirmed, but Jesse kept her pinned for a good twenty swats. When he finished, he ran his hand over her bottom. “More like a pink Lily,” he reported.
She burst out laughing, and he continued the smacks. “All right! I believe in red lilies!” she said, laughing and trying to wriggle off his lap.
He gave her four more smacks. “Good.”
They returned to lying down and cuddling. “Thanks so much for proving it,” she grumbled.
“You’re welcome, darlin’,” he said with a jovial lilt to his voice.
Lily sighed and closed her eyes, fully content and ready to burst with happiness. She fell asleep after hearing Jesse murmur in her ear, “I love you, my little red Lily. Sweet dreams.”

Fetching Charlotte Rose
As soon as she steps off the train into the hot western sun, Charlotte Rose wonders if she has made a mistake. Leaving Boston to take a job as the schoolmarm of the small town of Weston, Arizona had seemed like a good idea, but the man sent to fetch her from the station almost changes her mind. The handsome but uncivilized brute who introduces himself as Max Harrison not only calls Charlotte by her first name, he even demands that she change her outfit.
Her humiliation is complete when, after ignoring his advice to put on something more suitable for the summer weather, she faints from the heat. To her utter shame, Charlotte is forced to endure being undressed down to her underthings to cool down, and worse still, Max warns her in no uncertain terms that any further foolishness will earn her a sound spanking on her bare bottom. Yet somehow, despite his threat to chastise her in such a barbaric fashion, Charlotte cannot deny that being in Max’s presence sets her heart fluttering like nothing ever has before.
Though she may be the feistiest woman he has ever laid eyes on, Max finds himself longing to see more of Charlotte—much more, in fact—and when he discovers that she feels the same way, he sets about courting her. But Weston is a very different place from Boston, and Max makes it clear to Charlotte that he will do whatever needs doing to keep his girl safe, even if that means taking her over his knee for a good, hard spanking as often as her behavior warrants it.
Charlotte’s love for Max grows deeper with each passing day, but she cannot help wondering if he sees her as nothing more than a silly girl in need of his constant protection, and matters come to a head when a violent, hateful man with a grudge against Max seeks to disrupt their lives. Will Charlotte’s pride be her undoing, or will she finally get the chance to prove herself to Max?
