How Deep Is Your Love 3 Page 15

“You don’t have to pout,” he smiled. “All you have to do is ask, baby.” She smiled at him and rubbed her stomach. He looked down at her stomach, noticing for the first time the weight his mother noticed instantly. Charm was slim to begin with, but she wasn’t a stick. She was definitely thicker than Gabby.

“You’re hungry?” Denzel asked. She nodded. “Why didn’t you say so earlier?”

“We both needed the time at the range. And I figured we’d eat afterwards anyways.” Denzel pulled into the burger place and parked. He got out of the car first, and went around to open the door for Charm. When she stepped out she took his hand and walked into the building with him.

The both of them ordered burgers, fries, and milkshakes. He ordered a chocolate milkshake, while she ordered a strawberry.

“I thought you liked chocolate,” Denzel said.

“I do,” She smiled. She looked him up and down slowly before licking her lips. Denzel shifted in his seat as his arousal bumped against his jeans.

“I don’t know how you get me like that,” he shook his head. Charm giggled and shrugged.

“Honestly, I was putting up a fit once you and Gabby went into the room. But then, when she called me in and I saw that she couldn’t get you hard, it kind of gave me relief. It doesn’t even make sense, but yeah.”

  “No, I get it.”

“Did you come?” Charm asked. Denzel shook his head.

“I just got her off and sent her on her way. I didn’t even look at anything but her back.” Charm slowly bit her fry. She had a look on her face like a child who wanted to speak, but couldn’t.

  “What’s the matter?” Denzel asked.

“Did she feel better than me?” She blurted out. Denzel’s eyes widened. Charm looked away immediately and began gulping down her milkshake. Denzel took it from her and forced her to look at him.

“Baby, what me and Gabby did few nights ago, was nothing compare to what me and you have done. She felt like shit to be honest. Having sex with Gabby let me realize there’s some shit I take for granted. Like touching you, kissing you, the way our eyes connect when I’m inside you. If I don’t have any of that, then there’s no way it’ll feel good. No way I can even achieve release. Those kind of touches, I don’t want to experience it with anyone but you. And there was no way I was giving Gabby the things I give you. Sure we fucked, but what me and you do, there’s no question that it’s much more than fucking.” Charm sighed, feeling a sense of relief. Denzel pushed the milkshake back towards her. As she continued to sip, Denzel just gazed at her.

“You’re so beautiful,” he mumbled. She blushed, as she sipped.

“I might want some chocolate after this,” she said.

“I need you so I can forget that awful fuck with Gabby. I just didn’t know if you wanted me to touch you intimately.”

“I didn’t at first. But I just had to accept that you were doing it for my own good. And it’s been days. I’m horny. I didn’t want to say anything, because we’ve both been a little distant with each other.”

“I want to change that. No more distance.”

“I agree. So let’s finish up and go back to your place so we can get close,” she winked. They continued to eat, but at a faster pace. Denzel could already picture himself sliding inside her Niagara Falls and getting lost. He was so full of anticipation, he didn’t even taste his food anymore. He stuffed his face and gulped down his milkshake.

As Denzel was signing the receipt for their meal once they were both done, Charm’s phone chimed in her pocket. She only took one look at it before she groaned. Denzel knew what that meant.

“Don’t answer if you don’t want to,” Denzel said. Charm nodded and pushed her phone aside on the table. She didn’t feel like answering, so she didn’t. But when the phone stopped ringing, she received multiple texts.

I know you don’t want to hear from me Charm but this is important. I am going to get discharged from the hospital. I need you. Please come to the hospital. Charm read the message and sighed deeply. She didn’t know why she couldn’t just ignore him. But here she was, about to play Mrs. Nice again.

I’m on my way, she wrote back to him.

“What’s the matter?” Denzel asked her, seeing the look on her face.

“Terrell is getting discharged. I may have to sign something, since legally, I’m his next of kin, or whatever. So I gotta go up to the hospital.”

“I understand,” Denzel said. “The days still young, baby, we can get close any time.” She smiled at him.

“Can you…. Come with me?” She asked.

“You want me to?” He questioned.

“Please.” She reached her hands out across the table. Denzel took them and held it.

“I’m sorry I’m not divorced yet,” she said.

“Baby, I’m sorry I said that crap to you. I lost my temper and shit came out. I want you to divorce him soon, but I know shit like that takes time. I shouldn’t have said that we’re not really a couple. It wasn’t fair.” He kissed her knuckles.

“I don’t ever want to say things to hurt you. Not like he did.” She took his hands and placed them against her cheek, rubbing against them.

“You’ll never be like him,” she said.

“Come on. The faster we deal with this, the faster we’ll be able to get out close time.”

“Oh yeah. And you owe me big time, mister. I’m talking about body massage, sucking my pussy for an hour, and multiple, and I mean, A LOT, of orgasms.” Denzel chuckled.

“The waitress just heard everything you said.” Charm gasped and looked behind her, and sure enough, the waitress had a hand over her mouth as she tried to stifle her laugh.

“Let’s go!” Charm said, popping up as embarrassment filled her features. Denzel got up as well and followed her outside to his car.

“Charm is coming and I don’t want to hear none of your shit,” Terrell warned Destiny. “One peep out of you and I’m taking away my credit card from you.”

  “Seriously?” She asked. “You-”

“Zip it,” He snapped. “You caused this on yourself basically.”

“Terrell, I’m carrying your baby! You know how sometimes I am completely drained. I can’t be responsible for looking after you too. The only thing I should be focusing on is carrying this child.”

“Honey, I know. But I need to get out of here. And for me to do that, Charm is the one who had to agree to helping me. So you’re going to have to be okay with it. I don’t want no arguing, no petty remarks, nothing.”

“I know you just want her to come back to the house to live.”

“But I told you how it was going to be. Don’t act brand new.”

“Terrell, Charm is here,” Doctor Murphy said, as he entered the room. Terrell raised his bed, with a smile on his face, ready to greet his wife. His smile faded when Denzel came in beside her.

“Really?” Terrell asked. “You needed to bring him?”

“He stays or I’m going,” Charm said. Terrell just rolled his eyes. He wasn’t even going to get into it with her. If he did, she wasn’t going to want to help him.

“Doctor says I have to be taken to a facility where I’m going to get my physical therapy. It’s this assisted living place.”

  “Okay?” Charm asked.

“I really just wanna go home. I can’t go to another place where I’ll be trapped like this hospital. The doctor won’t discharge me to the house unless I have someone who’s gonna be there to help me out. I can’t even get up to take a piss without feeling like I’m gonna have an asthma attack.”

“Well then I’ll sign off for Destiny to take care of you,” Charm said. “No biggie.”

“Yes, biggie,” Terrell said. “Destiny can’t give me the care I need in order to go home.” Charm looked at Destiny. Of course, Destiny wouldn’t take care of him. She was self-centered and full of shit.

“Karma is a bitch, ain’t it?” Charm asked. Terrell deserved that. Of course, everything
would come back to bite him in the ass.

“I know,” he admitted. Charm was shocked at that. Clearly, he was in a rough position, especially wanting to go home and not being able to do so.

“Destiny, why don’t you just do what you have to do? You wanted him in the first place, right? Now you got him. You can’t leave him hanging like that.”

“I’m the pregnant one. I can’t be lifting him and helping him walk and all that kind of shit. It’s not even what I signed up for.” Charm just shook her head.

“Nice woman you got there,” Charm said to Terrell.

“I know,” he said again. “Charm, the reason I called you here was because I have to ask you to help me out.”

“Help you out with what?” She asked, shakily, almost afraid for him to tell her what he was talking about.

“I want you to come with me home and help me. The doctor won’t discharge me home unless someone is there to help me out.”

“Terrell, I can’t,” Charm said, immediately.

“I know why you’d say no, Charm. I don’t blame you. But please, I need you in this one.” Charm shook her head.

“You chose Destiny over me, and now, since she won’t help you, you’re crawling back to me, begging for my help? To take care of you no less? When the cops want to throw me in jail for trying to kill you?”

“I know how fucked up it is. But I wouldn’t be asking this of you unless it was important.” Charm didn’t know what to do. And when she looked at Denzel his expression didn’t give her any ideas.

“Charm,” Terrell said. She looked at him. “Don’t think about me as the unfaithful husband. Think about the man who bailed you out of jail because he cared too much for you to have you in that kind of trouble. At least do me this favor, Charm.”

“But this is more than a favor, Terrell, this is-”

“It’s only for a week or two,” Terrell said. “Until I find a nurse. Once I get a nurse, you won’t have help at all.” Charm took a deep breath.

“I didn’t have to get you out of jail,” he continued. “And I’m not asking for any of that money back, even though we are separated. So please, Charm. Do this for me.” She hated that desperate look he had in his eyes at the moment. Because if he wasn’t so damn desperate, Charm could easily tell him no. Yes, me made mistakes, and sometimes, he was too arrogant for his own good, but there was good in him. It’s why she married him in the first place.

“Just a week or two?” She asked him.

  “Yes!”

“Alright, fine. I’ll help you,” she sighed. He blew out a deep breath and slumped into the bed.

“Charm, baby, thank you so much.” Denzel shifted behind her before leaning over and whispering in her ear.

“Let me talk to you real quick,” He said. Charm followed him out in the hall away from Terrell’s earshot.

“What are you doing?” Denzel asked. Charm shrugged.

“Helping him not be trapped in some facility,” she replied.

  “Why?”

“Cause I didn’t feel right telling him no. Especially since he did pay my bail, and I kind of do owe him something.”

“Actually, you don’t owe him anything,” Denzel said. “In fact, it’s his new girl that got you locked up in the first place, telling false information to the cops.”

“Exactly! He found out what Destiny did, and still came to my rescue, even though that’s the mother of his baby.” Denzel shook his head.

“I have a bad feeling about this, Charm. You and him, in that house together. I-”

“Don’t think like that!” Charm ordered. She immediately hugged him pressing her head against his chest.

“I want you, remember that. Nothing’s changed about that,” She said. Denzel hugged her tightly before pulling away and looking down at her.

“There’s something about you being in the house with that guy that just makes me feel uneasy.”

“I know. But think about it. I do this for him and I can kind of garner some sympathy when it comes to signing the divorce papers. That’s what I’m aiming to do also by helping him out.” Denzel sighed. He had to admit that it was worth a shot in getting Terrell to sign the papers. He was the one that owed a lot to Charm not the other way around.

“Alright, fine. But I don’t care how it looks, if you need me, make sure you call me and I’ll come over there.”

“I know you will,” she giggled. They held hands again and walked back to Terrell’s room. Inside, the doctor gave her a debriefing about all his medication, symptoms to look out for, and what to do in certain situations.

“So when will he be discharged?” Charm asked the doctor.

“5pm,” he replied. Charm looked at her phone.

“Right. We have four hours. So I’ll be back later. And the cops still have my car, so I’ll swing by the house and get yours, Terrell.”

“Why not just wait around with me?” Terrell asked, pleading with his eyes.

“I can’t. Me and Denzel have some things to sort out.” Charm winked at Denzel, who smirked.

“I saw that,” Destiny spoke up. “They’re about to go have a quickie somewhere,” she accused. Charm just shrugged.

“Oh, speaking of sex, Terrell,” Doctor Murphy said. “I’d advise against it.”

“Doc, you’re killing me,” Terrell sighed. “My wife is coming home and now you wanna say no sex? How am I gonna resist?”

“You’d better find a way,” Denzel rumbled. “Cause if you touch her, you’re going to find yourself in some serious pain.”

“Denny,” Charm whispered, elbowing him. “No threats.”

  “It’s not a threat. It’s a fucking promise.”

“She’s still my wife. Which means I can do what I want with her,” Terrell said.

“You know, Charm is doing this shit for you out of the pure goodness of her heart. Even your damn baby mother won’t help you the fuck out. So if I were you, Terrell, I’d show Charm some damn respect. Come on, baby,” Denzel said, taking her hand. “I better start paying off that orgasm debt I owe you.” Char felt her cheeks get hot as she smiled.

“See-see y’all later,” Charm stuttered, as she followed Denzel out of the hospital room. Terrell just sat there with his arms crossed. That man could enjoy Charm while he had her, because once she came home with Terrell, she would realize where she really belonged and she won’t leave again.

  Chapter Sixteen

Charm struggled to walk normally as she went back into the hospital. She was only messing with Denzel about the orgasm debt, but everything she’d said to him; he’d taken to heart. So he literally, spent an hour between her legs, savoring and devouring her pussy. She was honestly ready to tap out after that. Her clit was so damn sensitive, a simple touch had her bursting into orgasm. But Denzel didn’t let it go at that. He couldn’t. So he’d fucked her long and deep, over, and over, again, until physically she was tapping out. Then she’d spent an extra hour not moving a single inch. Then came the reality that she had to get Terrell out of the hospital and take him home. Well ‘home’ was a complicated term. Yes, she’d chosen the house and made it her home, but it wouldn’t feel the same going back there. Most importantly, she would have to sleep without Denzel. This was going to be a rough two weeks for her.

“Ready to go?” Charm said, entering Terrell’s room. Indeed, he was dressed and sitting in a wheelchair ready to leave. Charm signed a couple papers before she was wheeling him out of the room.

“Why you walking so funny?” Terrell asked. Charm giggled.

“Don’t ask questions you don’t want the answer to,” She said. Terrell grunted and kept quiet. He was silent for most of the ride home, and when Charm pulled into the driveway, he let out this sigh of relief that Charm felt deep in her bones. He’d really wanted to be home more than anything.

Charm rushed to the passenger side of the car to help him get out. She put an arm over her shoulder and they walked up the driveway. Destiny wasn’t at the hospital when C
harm returned, so the moment they got to the driveway, Destiny was opening the front door to let them in. Charm took Terrell to his favorite arm chair immediately.

“Damn, this feels good,” he groaned, as he sat down. He winced in pain but soon his face relaxed.

“The doc gave us enough drugs to last the night, but I have to get to the pharmacy to get your prescription filled.”

“Before you go, can you fix me something to eat please? I miss your cooking. And the hospital food,” he just shook his head. Charm looked at him. This was going to be a long two weeks.

“Alright, I’ll make you something quick. But just know, the doctor advised against certain foods, so it’s gonna be a healthy meal.”

“As long as it’s your cooking, it’s fine.”

Charm felt completely weird being in the house with Terrell again like this. During the day he treated her and talked to her as if nothing had gone wrong in their marriage. But then Destiny would show her face and it would be evident that nothing was the same. Charm didn’t want it to be the same anyways. She loved Denzel too much to want anything with Terrell again.

“Excuse us,” Destiny said, at night, once Charm had gotten Terrell into bed. His meds were kicking in and he was becoming drowsy. Destiny appeared at the doorway in a small nightgown as if she owned the place. Charm just looked her up and down and rolled her eyes and said nothing. Destiny sucked her teeth and got into bed next to Terrell, making it clear that she was the one sleeping next to him and not Charm.

“Want a cookie?” Charm asked her. “I wish you’d do your damn job and make him fall for you, so he can leave me the fuck alone and I can move on,” Charm mumbled, as she left the room. She slammed the door shut and went down to the second guest bedroom where she was going to be sleeping. She honestly just wanted Denzel next to her right now. The moment she settled in, she called him on FaceTime.

“What is that you have on?” He asked.

  “A t-shirt,” she replied.

“Are you in the room with him?”

“Hell no! I’m locked up in the guest room. I made sure to lock the door in case he wants to get up in the middle of the night and come try and sneak in here.”
