“…Harumi says one of the civilians has a Dynasty morpher and is trying to be Mr. Hero. Think it’s him?” says a female soldier.

“I’ve never seen a guy with red hair in the army…! It has to be him,” replies a male soldier.

Before Kyo can slash down yet another solar bot before him, that solar bot gets blasted out of the sky by an energy shot. Kyo is shocked as he quickly flies back and turns to his left surprised to find a group of angry dynasty soldiers flying towards him.

“You! Stand down now and hand over the Dynasty Morpher or else!” shouts a female soldier pointing at Kyo.

“Damn…! They caught me,” Thought Kyo, looking irate.

Kyo tries to fly to the right, but another group of soldiers stops him. Kyo is now quickly surrounded by the Dynasty soldiers, with nowhere to go.

“We’re warning you to stop what you’re doing. If you refuse to comply with us, we’ll have to take you down by force,” Ordered a male soldier.

“…Why are you all doing this? I’m helping YOU guys out! You all going to kill me for simply saving others?!” shouts an angry Kyo.

“We’re not here to kill you. You aren't registered as a member of the Dynasty of Spheres Army. We ask to please de-morph and hand over the device so that you can head home to your family and friends. We’ll handle everything. That’s all we ask,” says another male soldier.

“But I’m just picking up where the dead soldier picked off from! I’m sorry…but I’m not doing anything wrong. If you’re going to have to take me down by force, so be it!”-

Suddenly, someone’s hand chops the back of Kyo’s neck, instantly knocking Kyo unconscious. It was a specialized blue and white armored soldier, wielding a yellow rhombus-shaped energy shield on its left arm. Before Kyo could fall, the blue and white soldier quickly grabs Kyo’ body by the waist and snatches the Dynasty Morpher off of Kyo’s wrist. Kyo de-morphs as the blue and white armored soldier tosses Kyo body to one of the soldiers. One of the soldiers catches Kyo and puts him over their shoulder.

“Arata Noshino! Have you finished the job already over at Kamati?” asks one of the soldiers to the blue and white armored soldier, which was indeed Arata Noshino.

“Mission accomplished. We have our soldiers assisting the people to get to safety. No threat is sighted now, but this area is still under heavy fire right now,” says Arata, “Listen, take that kid back to where he came from,”

“Yes sir!” shouts the soldier carrying Kyo. The soldier flies off with Kyo, leaving the rest of the soldiers and Arata together. Before everyone could even move or blink an eye, however, they all hear a loud crash. They all look down to find something out of this world, all looking on in shock.

“…What the hell….?” says Arata with a curious look on his face.

They all witness a tall, muscular mechanical monster. Its body was colored green and black, having only one bright red eye, with huge arms and hands, clearly made for destruction, and a glowing red sphere placed on its chest. Before the tall mechanical beast could do anything, the soldiers, including Arata, swoop down to the ground to confront their target quickly.

“…Attack,” orders Arata, pointing at the mechanical monster. The soldiers swiftly pull out their rifles and fire energy shots at the mechanical monster as ordered.

The mechanical monster stands there, as the flurry of energy shots only bounce off of its body. Arata is surprised at what he’s seen, as the energy shots do not affect it.

“…Ceasefire! I need five soldiers to switch to close combat, immediately!” shouts Arata.

The soldiers abruptly stop firing, and as ordered, five soldiers charged towards the mechanical monster fast, whipping out their beam swords from their backs.

One soldier leaps and goes to swing at the beast, but the beast sways its left arm at the soldier, shooting him crashing into a building like a fly. The rest of the soldiers are already seconds away from attacking, but it was too late…

The mechanical beast swings its huge arms rapidly, sending many of the soldiers flying all over the place, and crashing elsewhere, destroying the city. Arata, however, looked un-amused at what he was seeing. A few of the soldiers were lucky enough to glide back to get away from the mechanical beast’s arms before they were next to be heavily swatted. Arata presses a small button on his collar, as his armor helmet forms around his head, revealing bright green eyes. A bunch of information forms before Arata’s eyes inside his helmet.

“…Kimiko, I’m sending this information to H.Q. I’m going to fuck this contraption up,” says Arata, pulling out a beam sword handle from his back, soon erecting a long blue beam sword when he positioned himself to battle against his target. Arata then begins slowly walking past the soldiers, and towards the tall mechanical beast.

Elsewhere, the soldier carrying Kyo lies him on top of a high building.

“There…now you’re safe…I guess,” says the male soldier. The soldier looks around the fiery city for a moment before looking back down at the unconscious Kyo.

“…Hmm…there’s no enemies around…” says the soldier.

“We need assistance quick! Some robot monster has appeared and is taking us out easily! All soldiers, please assist in the West Zone of Tojisa City!” shouts a distressed soldier through the male soldier’s speaker.

“Oh man…a new monster…!” says the shocked soldier before flying off, leaving Kyo alone.

There was only the sound of the wind, and crackling fire, and the echoing signs of people screaming and sirens. Kyo laid there motionless as if he was sound asleep. However, it appeared he wasn’t alone.

There was a person on the roof approaching Kyo. This person had on a long black coat and a black hoodie over its head. The mysterious person approaches Kyo and looks down at him silently for a moment…before he then picks Kyo up and puts him over its shoulder. The person turns around and walks towards the edge of the building. Next, this person proceeds to now stand nearly at the high building. Just then, a massive explosion is seen from afar. The mysterious person turns its head, watching the fireball go up in the air.

“…And so...it begins…child,” says the deep voice of the mysterious hooded man…

The hooded man floats off the building and flies towards the scene where the fireball erupts…

  Chapter 14

  Your Destiny

Arata confronts the tall mechanical beast with anger in his eyes. The mechanical beasts’ mouth suddenly opens, as smoke seeps out of its mouth, breathing heavily as if it was hungry to eat anything in front.

  “…Die,” says Arata.

Arata leaps and swings his beam sword at the titan, but the titan blocks it easily with its left arm. Arata continues and rapidly swings its beam sword at the titan. The Titan stood still, withstanding all of Arata’s swings, but it was clear its arm was getting slice marks everywhere, but still stood strong. Arata suddenly flies back, and charges right back at the titan, smashing his fist into the titan’s face hard enough to send the titan rolling hard onto the ground. The Titan is quick on its feet, stopping itself from rolling over, but when it gets on its feet, however, Arata sends yet another powerful punch to the titan’s face, causing the Titan to go flying back and crashing into a building and collapse.

Arata quickly pulls out the beam rifle placed on his lower back and flies up into the air. Arata charges a large blue electrical ball from his rifle. Seconds later, Arata presses the trigger, unleashing a massive blue energy wave crashing into the area where the titan was, creating massive destruction. After Arata let’s go of the trigger, it is revealed that a massive crater resulted from his attack. There is no sign of the titan anywhere. Arata slowly floats down, looking for the titan.

Moments later, his eyes widen, and he turns around, finding the damaged and torn titan before him. The titan swats Arata hard with its huge arm, making Arata crash hard through a torn building and out, crashing into the street. Arata lays there on the ground for a moment b
efore hopping back up to his feet. Arata wastes no time and blasts to the sky gunning for the titan.

Arata quickly slips his rifle back onto his lower back and in seconds, pulls out and swings his long beam sword at the titan once more, creating a huge slash mark across the titan’s chest. The Titan quickly flies back before charging forward once more to throw a menacing punch towards Arata.

As the titan throws its fist, Arata blocks it with his plasma shield, causing a shockwave upon impact. Arata then kicks the titan on the side of the head hard, causing the Titan to go crashing hard to the ground. Arata looks down in silence, waiting for the titan to get back up.

Moments later, the Titan gets back up on its two feet, and suddenly unleashes a hellacious roar, one that Arata is surprised by. As soon as the mechanical titan lets out its angering yell, it smashes its two large fists into the ground. As soon as it does that, the perimeter shakes badly. In seconds, Arata is shocked to find many buildings fall and topple over, causing massive destruction. Arata witnessed this titan destroy all buildings around it, making the scenery nothing more than piles of rubble, everywhere.

…What kind of power is this…?! thought an agitated Arata.

  “Arata!” shouts a female voice.

Arata turns and finds Harumi flying his way.

“What the fuck happened just now?” says Harumi, frantically looking at the destruction around them.

“That damn titan...he literally smashed his two fists into the ground, and caused a shockwave powerful enough to tear down buildings,” replies Arata.

Suddenly, the titan lets out its hellacious roar once more. Everyone is startled by this scream, as moments later, a plethora of solar bots appear in the distance.

“You’ve got to be kidding me…!” says an angry Harumi.

“Soldiers! Can you hear me!” shouts Arata, pressing a small button onto the right ear helmet.

  “…Damn, no response…!” says Arata.

“Many of them are down for the count after what’s transpired. Most of them have to be under the rubble,” says Harumi.

“Listen, Arata. I had most of the soldiers to retreat, because of what that titan just did to the city,” explains Kimiko through Arata’s speaker. “It’s as Harumi predicted. Many of them are either dead or trapped in the rubble as they went to assist the people.”

“Damn…so even civilians may have been killed…!” replies an Arata, clenching his fists.

“You two are going to have to handle this once more…” says Kimiko.

“…No matter, we got this,” says Harumi, cracking her knuckles.

“After we complete the mission, we need a serious readjustment for the soldiers,” says Arata.

“What do you mean by that?” asks Kimiko.

“…Maybe we should just have A.I. built soldiers,” replies Arata.

  “What?!” says a shocked Kimiko.

“The soldiers of Galaxus are worthless. Plain and simple,” says Arata.

“Don’t say that Arata! You know they aren’t!” shouts Kimiko.

“I have to disagree,” says Harumi, chiming in.

“Kimiko, we’ll discuss this later. We have business to attend to,” says Arata, swooping down after the titan.

Harumi is left with the mass solar bots coming her way. However, she looks very confident, as she always looked so far in the chaos that’s ensued.

Harumi suddenly fires many yellow energy shots out of her hand, shooting down many of the solar bots. However, most are smart enough to evade and come after Harumi even faster. Harumi quickly pulls out her two beam swords and charges forward, sliding through the wave and slashing the solar bots apart while doing so. Harumi stops and sees she is surrounded by many of the solar bots. Harumi takes a deep breath before turning and decapitating two solar bots. Most of the solar bots gang up on her. However, Harumi turns her body into a tornado, sticking her arms out with her swords in hand, slashing away at all the solar bots coming her way. She was a spinning blade, and all the solar bots became crossfire.

Meanwhile, Arata lands back to the ground and wastes no time to charge towards the titan. The two throw punches, with each connection of their fists causing shockwaves, making large pieces of rubble float around them. Their slow connection of punches soon became fast connections, and the acceleration kept getting faster and faster. Arata can punch the titan square in the face, causing it to fly back. Arata quickly pulls out his beam rifle and fires a round of energy shots at the titan, causing the Titan to be engulfed in blue smoke. Arata keeps firing, as the blue puff of smoke gets bigger and bigger. However, Arata is shocked moments later, finding the Titan fly out of the smoke like a speeding train, and can strike Arata hard, punching him in the face making Arata crash into a large pile of rubble.

As Harumi stops herself from spinning, she looks on surprised to find more solar bots around her. Her expression of shock quickly turns to rage, as she charges forward and continues slashing apart the many solar bots around her. As she goes on a rage attack, she is quickly blindsided by the titan, who grabs her by the foot from below and wasting no time, pulls and throws her crashing into the rubble hard. The Titan is now on top with its solar bots, looking down at the destruction of the city.

Amongst so much destruction, there is still one building still standing. The mysterious black hoodie man was on top of this deteriorating building with the unconscious Kyo over his shoulder. The man drops Kyo to the ground, and seconds after, Kyo’s eyes pop open, looking up at the dark cloudy sky. Kyo sits up, and his jaw dropped at the destruction all around him. He gets back up to his feet and walks forward slowly to gaze more at the scenery. Moments after, he witnesses Arata and Harumi both fly towards the crowd of solar bots and titans floating in the sky. Kyo watches in awe as the two super soldiers fight off against the enemy. They take down the solar bots with ease, but when the small fry was taken care of, they once again get swatted back to the ground hard by the titan. Kyo, watching all this, clenches both of his hands, looking on in anger.

“…They’re going to die…!” says Kyo. “They…always think they can end things just with the two of them, and each and every time it results in mass destruction, and with their lives on the brink of death. This time…they’re really going to die…!”

“So, what’re you going to do about it?” says the deep voice.

Kyo’s eyes widen and turn around, shocked to find the hooded man before him, standing there silently with his hands behind his back.

“…Who are you…?” questions Kyo, “…Thinking about it…why am I even up here right now?”

“You have a chance to change things here. To change not only yours but “their” destiny as well,” says the hooded man.

“Change destiny…?” says a confused Kyo.

“What will you do? If those two heroes die, they’ll be no one else to stop the threat. All of the soldiers have either perished or are trapped under heavy debris,” Says the hooded man.

  “What…?!” says a shocked Kyo.

“You despise their actions against the fellow soldier’s who’ve fallen, but now they’re in a position to where ‘they’ will fall. Is it possible they need that ‘3rd’ key, to save them?” says the hooded man. Kyo looked on in shock at the man’s words.

…It’s as if he knew me or something…! thought Kyo.

Suddenly, a huge explosion is heard. Kyo quickly turns around and looks down to find Harumi and Arata desperately trying to fight back against the titan.

The Titan is unfazed by their struggling punches. Harumi goes to kick the titan to the skull, but the titan counters, punching her hard in the stomach. Hard enough for Harumi to cough out blood before falling to her knees before the titan. The titan punts Harumi to the chest, flying her back and crashing into debris. Arata yells in anger and charges at the titan, throwing a flurry of quick punches at the titan, but the titan appeared too quick for Arata. As the titan evaded most of Arata’s punches, Arata quickly charges a yellow energy ball in his le
ft hand and fires at the titan’s face, causing a massive explosion. Kyo could see only a puff of black smoke where Arata and the titan were. Moments later, Arata is seen walking out of the smoke, and soon rolling onto the ground, as his armor is now blackened and damaged, with sparks flying out of it. Arata’s eyes were dazed and looked as if he was going unconscious. Arata sees the Titan slowly approaching him through the heavy fog, but Arata could do only lay there in pain.

“Damn…! Dammit!” shouts Kyo, “I can’t believe this is happening right before me and there’s nothing I can do…!”

Kyo falls to his hands and knees, head lowered, clenching onto the tiny pebbles on the roof of the building, “…How…how can…I…save them….?” whispers Kyo, “…Just so that monster…does not take even more lives…!”

Suddenly, Kyo hears a loud buzzing noise. Kyo raises his head and is shocked to find even more solar bots appearing, slowly floating down from the sky. Kyo quickly gets back to his feet, turns around, and storms towards the hooded man with anger on his face. He grabs the hooded man by his coat and gets in his dark face.

“Tell me! What can I do?! If you have anything to save them, just give it to me! I’ll do it!” shouts Kyo.

“…So you wish to change destiny here today…?” questions the hooded man. “…To change your destiny and theirs?”

“Yes!! I’ll change my destiny to save everyone! And I’ll change their destiny to show that two can’t do it!! I just don’t want any more people to die, dammit!” Kyo exclaims in anger.

The hooded man suddenly slaps something onto Kyo’s wrist. Kyo quickly backs away from the man and looks at his wrist. He’s shocked to find a wrist device there. It was the face of a dark blue robot with bright red eyes.

“…You’ve chosen your destiny. You cannot turn back now,” says the hooded man before turning and walking back, slowly vanishing into thin air. Kyo looks on in shock at what he’s just witnessed but soon turns his attention back to the wrist device the mysterious man gave to him.
