Turning to face the room, I held Noah’s eyes as I told them the news. “We’ve got Bo.” My guys started talking all at once, preparing for what they knew we would be leaving to do – bringing her home. I didn’t break eye contact with the one occupant who wasn’t moving. “Quiet!” They all stopped at once and looked at me, taking in the staring contest between me and Noah and the rigidity of our bodies.
Noah twitched as I opened my mouth again, and I saw the hair trigger pulled and ready to go off in him.
“Alcado,” was all I said, really I didn’t need to say anymore. The room erupted into angry shouts and plan making, but nothing was louder than the roar that came out of Noah.
Blake and Garrett jumped on him as he made to run out of the room. Taking him to the floor, Garrett sat on his back with his knees on his arms while Blake held his legs down. Walking over to him, I crouched down and put my face right in front of his. “Keep your fucking head on and help us get her back. You go now, she’s dead.”
He stopped struggling and stared at me, panting. “I’ll kill him,” he hissed. “I’ll kill all of them.”
Nodding at him, I stood up and yelled out orders at the guys. We needed to go now.
I quickly turned my face away as the evil miscreation I had the misfortune of being the obsession of, rubbed his finger down my cheek.
“My beautiful Boadicea,” his finger travelled down my neck and toward my chest, before he stopped just above my nipple and pressed a sharp fingernail in as hard as he could and dragged it back up the way it had just been. “I expect you to be ready for me by 10 o’clock. You are now mine and it has been so long since I’ve had the pleasure of playing with one so beautiful and tenacious.” He pressed his nail harder as he travelled over my jugular and leaned down to whisper in my ear, “I look forward to breaking you.”
