"She gon’ be aight bruh," Kendrick, who was sitting next to me, chimed in. After what seemed like forever, a doctor came up to the waiting area.

"Is this the family of Morgan Garrett?" she asked. Morgan's mother Terri and I rushed up to her.

"Yes I'm her fiancé, and this is her mother."

"Morgan is alive. However, her system was full of heroin. I feel like a drug rehab may be...." I didn't hear anything she said after heroin. Heroin? What the fuck was heroin doing in her system?

"Heroin? Are you sure?" I asked, cutting the doctor off in disbelief.

She shook her head yes. "It seems she took it in pill form, and we had to pump her stomach. Thank God it was in pill form, because otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to get it out of her," the doctor said.

I immediately grew angry at the thought of that nigga June every time she said the word pill. I was mad that Morgan continued to take the pills, but I knew that she didn't know it was heroin. I knew that nigga gave her that shit purposely. I wasn't sure why, but I was gon’ find the fuck out. Probably so he could take advantage of her. I walked away and let the doctor continue talking to Morgan's mother. I power walked past my family out the sliding doors, with murder on my mind. Kendrick told Nic to go home with the babies, or to my parent’s house, and raced after me.

"Nigga where you going?!" he asked, catching up to me.

"I'm going to kill a nigga?" I replied, looking straight ahead.

"Who, Dreeis?!" he frowned as we continued through the parking lot.

"Some nigga named June," I answered, hitting my car alarm.

"Why?" he said, confused while hopping in my passenger seat.

"You'll see," I said, reversing fast as fuck.

I had gotten June's address from Morgan the morning after she came home with that hickey. To think I almost let that bitch nigga live. I arrived to his beat up ass apartment, and booked it up the complex stairs with Kendrick right behind me.

"This door is weak, bruh. We gon’ kick this shit down," Kendrick said, eyeing the door. I loved my brother. He didn't know why we was killing this random nigga, but he was down.

We knocked the door off the hinges, and the nigga hopped up off his couch. He had a bitch there with him, who was butt naked.

"June. My nigga," I said, flashing an evil smile and hoping it was him.

"Who the fuck are you?! And why you knocking my door off the hinges nigga!" he yelled, looking from me to Kendrick, and confirming he was June.

"Watch your tone nigga!" Kendrick spat.

"You tried to kill my girl."

He paused, letting me know it was true and intentional. I shot him in his kneecaps, making him collapse. Kendrick put a bullet in the girl’s head, and we forced June's ass to the car. We drove his ass to the warehouse and forced him inside.

"You fucked with the wrong one, nigga. First, you put a hickey on my girl, and then you try to kill her? It's over for you," I laughed.

  "You forgot one, nigga."

"What?" Kendrick asked, confused. "I shot up your car that night too, bitch!" he yelled and laughed. I shot him two times in the head out of reflex.

"Damn I thought we was gon’ make him suffer. Plus, we need to know who sent him," Kendrick said.

"I know. I just couldn't contain myself when he said he shot at me that night," I replied, dazed a bit.

We burned his body down, and then called the clean up crew. I had millions of texts from Kendon, Kendrew, and Kayden, asking where I went. I text them back saying I had to kill some nigga named June.

"July's brother?" Kayden responded. July was a bigger threat than we thought. For some reason, this bitch was really out to get us, and that shit was about to end.

  Chapter Nine: Kendrew King

We were waiting at Kendon's condo for Adrienne to come over. It was just Kendrick, Kendon, and I. Ever since Morgan somewhat overdosed and almost died, Kendreeis wanted to keep an eye on her. I couldn't believe this bitch July had it out for us this bad. I couldn't understand what her intention was by having Deija think I was sleeping with her sister. Hell, I didn't even know why she was mad, but we were gon’ find out.

We heard a knock at the door, so Kendon got up to answer. When he opened it, he yanked Adrienne in. When she saw Kendrick and I, she bucked her eyes.

"What…what is going on?" she said, looking back and forth between all three of us.

"First thing is, you gon’ take a pregnancy test," Kendrick said, surprising the fuck out of me, but it was a good idea; this bitch could be lying about being pregnant. She took the box from him, and walked to the bathroom. "Kendon, follow her and make sure she don't try no stupid shit, or try to escape," Kendrick ordered. After about ten minutes, Kendon and Adrienne came out of the bathroom. Kendrick gave a look, asking what it said.

"She pregnant dog," Kendon answered somberly.

  "Please don't kill me I–"

"Shut up and sit down please," Kendrick replied calmly.

"I'm gon’ be honest, we killing your sister July," I chimed in.

"No, please!" she started to cry as Kendon rubbed her back. Kendrick shot him a glare, and he stopped. Funny shit.

"Now we gon’ use you to get her over here. If you make a sound, I'll put you in a coma until the baby is born, then pull the plug," Kendrick smiled. This nigga reminded me of a mob boss. I see why our father made him head honcho. You needed to be psycho as fuck, and callous at times. Adrienne stared at Kendrick in fear when he smiled after such a crazy ass statement. He dialed July's number, and put her on speakerphone. We all sat in silence as it rang.

"Hello Kendrick," she said, sounding like she was smiling.

"July, cut the bullshit. I know you got some one-sided vendetta against us. I got your sister Adrienne here, and if you want her alive, you better come to Kendon's condo in 20 minutes."

  "I'll pass," she replied laughing.

"You'll pass? Either you come here, or your sister is dead. Her and that baby!" Kendrick yelled into the phone.

"Tell her I said R.I.P." she replied.

"Alright. Well I know you and Danielle are working together, and I'm gon’ find you and kill both of y’all," he replied and disconnected. I looked at Adrienne, and she looked as if she was about to cry again.

"She didn't even care," she said in almost a whisper.

"Now, are you willing to cut ties with your sister and be loyal to this side of things?" I asked her.

"Most definitely," she said, with her lips tightened and her nostrils flared. I knew she was being honest, ‘cause she was more mad at her sister than any of us in this moment. I could also tell that she was a sweet girl, and just an evil bitch's pawn.

As Kendrick and I exited Kendon's condo, leaving Adrienne there, I asked him a question I'd been thinking about. "Why did you say she was working with Danielle?" I frowned as he reversed his car.

  "You will see," he smirked.

I arrived to my new house and said bye to my brother. I walked in and smelled good food. I didn't know what it was, but it smelled heavenly. I followed the scent into the kitchen, and no one was there.

"Deija?" I called out, and got no answer.

I walked to the dining room, and there she was looking beautiful as ever. She had on an all white lace lingerie set, with a sheer white robe over it. On the table, was baked chicken and shrimp covered in melted cheese, with Jasmine rice.

"You hungry baby?" Deija smiled, pulling out my chair.

"Yes, for two things," I said, kissing her lips.

I sat down, and so did she. I couldn't keep my eyes off her in that sexy outfit. We prayed together, and then started eating the food.

"What's the occasion, ma?" I asked, eating the bomb ass rice. This was my favorite meal, so I knew there was a reason.

"Well I wanted to thank you for changing, and making good on your promise," she smiled. As I was about to speak, my baby Kameko walked in with a velvet box on a velvet pillow.

I put my fork down, "What's this b
aby?" I asked, putting her in my lap and taking the box. I opened it, and it was a gold chain with half of a heart on it. I pulled it out, and noticed the other half on Deija's neck. Mine had the initial D engraved in back, and hers a K.

"Thank you ma," I smiled hard as fuck.

"That way we will be together, even when we are apart," she said with tears welling up. “I got the idea from Nic,” she blushed. I was happy my baby had friends here.

"Go draw a picture for daddy," I told Kameko. She hopped down and ran to her playroom; she seemed so much older to only be three. "Now you come sit in daddy's lap," I told Deija. "I love you. You know that," I said, moving her long brown hair out of her face as she sat in my lap.

"I love you too," she half smiled. I kissed her soft lips. She stayed in my lap, and we finished dinner.

Afterwards, I paid my daughter $5 for her picture. Deija and I read her a bedtime story, then retired to our new bedroom. She unbuckled my pants and dropped to her knees, taking me into her mouth. She bobbed up and down nice and sloppily.

"Fuck," I said as she worked her magic. I had never had head given better than Deija. I busted down her throat, and she swallowed. I raised her up and undressed her sexy body with ease. "Damn you're beautiful," I said, eyeing her physique. I laid her in the middle of the bed, and kissed down her body. I sucked and licked her hard nipples, making her moan. I reached her pussy, and the smell made my dick harder. I licked and sucked her clit while fingering her, and she came in no time.

"Ooohhh ahhh!" she shivered. I continued until she came again, and I licked her clean. I turned her over and entered her from behind. I held tightly onto her waist as I thrusted into her tight wet walls.

"Ahhhhhh! Daddy!" she moaned as I beat her shit up, and finally came. I laid on my back, and she slid down on my dick. She placed her hand on my chest and rode me nice and slow.

  "Fuck ma."

"Ah Drew." Soon enough I shot up the club, making my damn toes curl a bit. Got damn! She stared down at me for a bit, and then I pulled her down for a kiss. She laid next to me, and laid her leg across my lap. She intertwined our fingers.

"I'm pregnant Kendrew," she finally said.

"You are?" I said, sitting up.

"Yeah is that okay? I mean–" I grabbed and kissed her before she could finish her sentence.

"It's more than okay, ma. I'm happy as fuck!" I smiled.

"You are?" she said, looking relieved.

"Yeah what you thought?" I raised a brow.

"I don't know...that you would be upset…or want to break up," she said, fidgeting.

"What? Hell nah! I love you and Kameko more than anything, baby. And remember, I asked you to be my wife. A baby is a blessing, especially when it's with the person you love," I told her, kissing her hands. She smiled and let the tears stream her sexy face. I wiped them and kissed her lips. "Nothing in this world would make me leave you," I said, grabbing her in my arms.

"I love you Drew," she replied, sniffling.

  Chapter Nine: Christy King

Kayden and I were leaving the hospital, with our newborn baby girl, Kaylie Aaliyah King. She was so pretty and so small. We waited until the delivery date to find out what the sex was. I just knew it was a boy, but Kayden said he was sure we were having a girl because I was so mean.

We got home, and Kayden told me he had a surprise for me. He led me and the baby up the stairs, and stopped in front of what was to be her room. For months he kept it padlocked, and wouldn't let me go in. I was starting to think he had some bullshit to hide, but I knew he wasn't dumb enough to have it in the house. He smiled, then finally opened the door. My eyes bucked in amazement as I entered the room for our daughter. There was a baby pink-colored wooden crib that I knew was customized, and a matching baby pink-colored wooden changing table, fully stocked with diapers. The walls to our left and right side were painted baby pink, and the walls to the back and front of us, were baby yellow. The carpet was baby pink as well, with yellow polka dots that had her name in them.

"How did you know to put Kaylie in the dots?" I smiled.

"I told you I knew it was a girl. How you think I came up with a name so fast," he chuckled, and I smirked.

I was so happy to see he bought her a napper, ‘cause Nic made them sound like heaven if you always wanted your baby around. I laid Kaylie in her beautiful crib with baby pink sheets and the blanket to match.

"Kayden baby, I love this. I love that you took the time to do this," I said, smiling and reaching for his hand.

"Anything for my two favorite girls," he said, kissing my lips. He dipped his tongue in my mouth, and I pushed him off playfully.

"Don't get yourself excited for nothing, nigga!" I smiled, referring to my healing time.

"Oh yeah," he said, exhaling heavily and leading me out the room. He held my hand and walked me over to one of our dens. I walked in and saw three ladies standing there with big smiles. Two were black, and one was white. "They are gon’ take care of you today, Christy." Kayden smiled down at me. "Laura will give you a facial," he said, pointing to a white lady. "Shandra will do your hair. And Imani will do your feet and hands," he finished.

Tears immediately left my eyes, because I needed this. All I had been doing lately was eating and watching TV. The last two months of pregnancy made me lazy and tired as hell all the time. My hair and nails hadn't been done in a while, and I'd never had a professional facial in my life.

I walked in and let the ladies get to work as Kayden left to handle some business. Halfway through my hair getting done, I went to get Kaylie so that I could breast-feed her. Three hours later, I was fixed up and pampered. I felt like a new woman; refreshed and reloaded.

I bathed Kaylie, and then laid her down in her crib. I walked around the room for a bit, just looking at every detail that Kayden added to the room. The little pink wooden closet with a bunch of cute little onesies was adorable. I laughed at the one that read Daddy's Girl.

I thanked God every night for Kayden King. Even though he got on my fuckin nerves at times, he was great to me. Now that I look back, my ex-boyfriend Trenton cheating on me was probably the best thing that ever happened. Shit, I might have still been with his triflin’ ass at this very moment. I really believe that God takes one thing away because he has something better for you. In my case, it was Kayden.

I walked out the room and over the stair balcony I spotted Kayden all dressed up in his street gear. I didn’t even know he came back home. He was standing next to a small round table, with candles on it. The lights around our foyer were dim, making his beautiful smiling face stand out.

"What the hell is this?!" I chuckled, walking down the stairs.

"A fancy dinner," he said smiling.

"Yeah I see that!" I said, kissing him and sitting down.

There were about twelve different kinds of sushi spread across the table. I loved sushi, but I couldn't eat it while pregnant with Kaylie and it killed me.

"You know I love sushi!" I clapped my hands together, excited as hell.

"Yes I do. A nigga ain't really into sushi, but for you I will try it," he frowned at the food.

"Thank you baby," I half smiled.

"Those dimples. So sexy," he replied smiling.

We sat and ate the sushi; well, mainly me. After a couple bites, he just ate a bowl of cereal.

"That is not romantic, Kayden!" I laughed, watching him eat his Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

"Cereal is very romantic, ma! Quit being so bougie!" he chuckled with cereal in his cheek.

"Whatever," I chuckled, shaking my head. After we ate, he turned on "Do You" by Miguel, our favorite song.

"You are really working for something you can't get," I laughed.

"For your heart?" he raised a brow, smiling.

"Well, you have that already, husband."

"And I plan to keep it, wife," he replied, reaching for my hand.

"What?" I said, looking him up and down like he was crazy.

  "Let's dance ma," h
e cheesed. I rolled my eyes with a smirk, and put my hand in his.

We danced like two ballroom dancers, and he was really showing out. He removed his shoes, making it easier to slide around our porcelain floors. He was spinning me out, staring in my eyes intensely, and smashing our faces together, cheek to cheek. I was laughing so hard that I had back pains. I was still in a little pain from childbirth, but it seemed to subside at this moment. I hadn't had this much fun in a long time, and there was no better person to have it with.

  Chapter Nine: Nic King

I arrived home around 8 p.m. from visiting Morgan. I was tired as hell, because I took my babies with me. I couldn't believe she had been taking pills to help her stay on top of things. I was happy that it was summer vacation because that meant she wouldn't need the pills, and most importantly because I had no homework or tests.

I put KJ in his high chair while still holding Kendrin. I made Kendrin a bottle, and laid him in his napper, that was sitting on the island behind KJs high chair. I had it positioned, so that I could see him while I fed KJ. I was so thankful that my babies were calm and well behaved. Kendrin soon fell asleep, and I saw that KJ was tired too. I cleaned them both in their portable baths, and then laid them in their I texted Kendrick, because I had barely talked to him that day, before I started.

  Me: Hey babe.

I hated when he got so busy that he didn't attempt to contact me. I was tired, so I just made chicken and shrimp white pasta, some corn, and vanilla cake. I ate at the island between my babies and watched them sleep. They were so cute and look exactly alike; like stupid Kendrick.

I picked KJ up out his napper, and carried Kendrin while still in his. I sat the napper down in KJ's room as I tucked him in. I made sure his baby monitor was on and working, then carried Kendrin to his room to do the same.

Afterwards, I went to my bedroom and turned on the shower to clean off the day. Before I got in, I checked my phone to see if Kendrick had replied. He hadn't yet, and it made me sad and upset. All I saw were texts from my girls and my mother. I washed my body with my Endless Love scent from Victoria’s Secret, and let the nice scent penetrate my nose. I lotioned my body up, which was still damp with the same scented lotion, then put on my short nightgown.
