With the sound of the nightclub pumping through the room, Foster ticked a pencil against the desk. “Would you be against bringing in some foreign stock? We have some connections in Germany. Quality booze at an affordable price.”
“Honestly, I don’t mind what you do as long as it works, but do you really think that changing the alcohol selection will make that much of a difference?” Emily asked, sounding unsure.
“Well, you have to consider your clientele. From what I could tell, you had quite a few Germans in the crowd. At the bar, I noticed they weren’t very impressed with the potency of the alcohol.” Foster spoke carefully and clearly. He was cautiously weaving a net of lies to keep Emily blind to the fact that dragons existed. By addressing the whelps as Germans, he could easily bring in some Dragon’s Ale to satisfy all the whelp customers, without arousing suspicion from Emily.
“You think they’re such heavy drinkers? Isn’t that just stereotyping?” Emily questioned.
“Trust me. I spent quite some time in Germany. They’re very particular about their alcohol.”
Emily bit her lip, wondering how she should proceed. She was taking business advice from a man she barely knew, but at the same time, she couldn’t help but trust him. He seemed so confident. “Alright. Do whatever you have to do.” She nodded, giving him the okay to continue.

“I can’t believe this actually worked…” Emily whispered as she stood on the balcony overlooking the nightclub. “This turnout is unbelievable.” Behind her, Lloyd grinned with satisfaction. While Foster had crunched the numbers, he had spread the word between the whelps that the club now stocked premium Dragon Ale. “I don’t know how you two managed all of this…”
“We told you we’d help.” Foster chuckled, leaning against the railing, his hand moving closer to hers. Gently, their pinkies touched and he blushed, looking at her. Their eyes locked and Emily felt her heart skip a beat as she fell into the deepness of his dark eyes.
“Thank you…” She found her face gravitating closer to his, her cheeks crimson as she fixated on his soft pink lips. She closed her eyes, picturing their kiss before Lloyd’s booming voice startled her.
“It’s a fantastic reopening event, isn’t it?” There was a smug look on his face as he glanced over at Foster who was red in the face with anger. He couldn’t believe Lloyd would interrupt his near-kiss with Emily. He had come this close to kissing her and Lloyd had ruined the moment.
“That it is…” Emily whispered, focusing on the bustling crowd below. The Den was filled to the brim with people dancing and having a good time. Beer steins filled with frothing Dragon’s Ale flowed from the bar like a river. The whelps sipped away with a glow on their cheeks as they appreciated the taste, while humans were impressed by how strong the drink really was. All it took was a few gulps to get a human completely smashed on the Ale. Lloyd chuckled, seeing a couple of men stumble out of their stools and collapse on top of each other. “That German liquor is really strong. I didn’t think it would sell so well.”
“What did I tell you? Germans like to drink.” Foster chuckled. He felt a slight tinge of guilt keeping a secret from Emily, but he knew it was for her own safety. If she knew about the dragon world, she would be targeted by the council, a special group of dragons determined to keep the existence of dragons a secret.
“Well, why don’t we go down there and celebrate? I got to get my hands on some of this infamous Ale.” She giggled, grabbing their hands. She pulled the two men along as they exchanged glances, wondering what Emily would be like once drunk.
“Are you sure you want to do that? It’s really strong.” Foster warned.
“Don’t underestimate me. I can hold my liquor quite well.” Foster gulped, unable to say anything else. In silence, they followed her down the stairs. Emily’s confident attitude made it easy for her to push her way through the crowd of people. When the overworked bartender saw his boss, he quickly straightened up his posture.
“Can I help you M-Miss M-Moore?” He stuttered under the weight of her piercing gaze.
“Three Ales.” She smirked, looking back at the dragons who still looked uneasy. The bartender nodded and filled three steins from the tap. A pure white froth flowed down the side of the glass, settling in a puddle on the counter. “And don’t forget to keep things tidy around here.” She ordered, noticing the declining condition of the bar. If things continued to go this well, she would have to hire a few more bartenders as soon as possible. “Well, boys, drink up!” She took her glass and started to chug it down.
Foster was about to stop her, but she had already finished her glass. Lloyd just burst out laughing. “I’m impressed.” Her gusto and fiery attitude were just two more reasons for which Lloyd found her incredibly attractive. As he watched her cheeks turn crimson with the effect of the alcohol, he felt deep carnal instincts rage up inside of him. He licked his lips, about to jump on her when Foster grabbed his shoulder, squeezing down hard.
“Don’t.” He warned, his nails growing and digging into Foster’s skin. “Or I’ll make you regret it.”
“What are you two whispering about…?” Emily asked, her voice high-pitched and giggly. Her words were not yet slurred, but in a few minutes, she wouldn’t be able to utter a coherent sentence.
“Nothing,” Foster answered quickly.
“Don’t you lie to me!” She hiccupped and laughed before she fell back, stumbling. Lloyd caught her before she could hit the ground. Foster ground his teeth, watching his step-brother dig his fingers into her ass, coping a feel. “Ooo…” She whispered, tilting her head back and exposing her neck in pleasure as she felt Lloyd’s hands squeeze her flesh. In her drunken state, her body felt hypersensitive. It was like every inch of her skin was alive with electricity. Her heart was hammering as if she could jump up and run a marathon.
“Come upstairs with me.” Emily swallowed some of her syllables as she looked up at Lloyd, her eyes burning with desire as she pushed her body into his. Her hips moved seductively as her fingers ran through his hair.
“Come on, you’re in no state to be down here.” Foster managed to pry her away from his step-brother who stood there with a raging hard on.
“Hehe.” She hiccupped again, falling into Foster’s arms. Her head rested on his neck, her lips gently brushing against his skin. “You’re cuteeeeeee.” She dragged out her last ‘e’ as she looked up, puckering her lips in Foster’s direction. He contemplated kissing her but then decided against it. He wasn’t going to take advantage of her while she was intoxicated.
Sighing, he bent down, placing his arms behind her knees, hoisting her up into his arms, carrying her bridal style up the stairs. She could do nothing but stare at him wide-eyed, wondering how someone so skinny could be strong enough to carry her up the stairs without even breaking a sweat.
“Shh,” Foster whispered softly as he opened the door to her apartment and brought her into the bedroom. “You just need to sleep, okay?” Pulling the covers back, he laid her on the bed with utmost care.
“But…” She wanted to ask him to stay, but her tongue felt like it had taken up all the space in her mouth. She was incapable of saying anything, even if she wanted to.
“It’s okay… I told you the Ale would be too strong for you…” He sat down on the edge of her bed and gently caressed her hair. The soothing motion calmed her and soon, her eyes grew heavy as she started to feel fatigued and sluggish. Soon enough, she was fast asleep. Foster pulled the covers over her before turning toward the door.
Lloyd was standing at the doorway. “Why did you do that?”
“She was drunk.”
“So?”
“It wouldn’t be fair to take advantage of her.”
Lloyd narrowed his eyes, his pupils turning to accusatory slits. “You saw how she was all over me. If you hadn’t interfered, she would’ve been mine.”
“Well. Get over it.” Foster pushed past his step-brother, knowing deep down, he had done the right thi
ng, even if his dick was very upset with him.
Chapter Five
Lloyd was just about to follow his brother out of the apartment when someone grabbed his wrist. “Please…” Emily’s heavily-inebriated voice sounded desperate as her fingers tightened around his wrist, trying to pull him back inside. “Stay. Stay. I’m not… drunk.” She swallowed back a hiccup and tried to stay upright, but her whole world was spinning. It took every ounce of her concentration to stop herself from tumbling forward.
Lloyd looked down at her, noticing her hiked up skirt and slightly unbuttoned blouse. He was about to reach forward and fondle her when Foster stepped in, yanking his arm away. “What do you think you’re doing?” He hissed at his step-brother.
He was about to step inside and help Emily back to bed when Lloyd grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. “I’ve had enough of you getting in my way. Get out.” He ordered, his eyes flashing with anger as he stepped forward, wrapping an arm around Emily’s waist. She giggled, resting her head on Lloyd’s chiseled chest, her fingertips gripping the fabric of his shirt.
“Stay.” She urged them both, her eyes moving from one brother to the other. “I could get into something more… comfortable.” She was struggling to pronounce her syllables as a mischievous smile painted her face, her lipstick now smudged in various places. “Foster… don’t.” She paused, stumbled forward, and laughed. Foster caught her in his arms, gently easing her onto the couch. “Don’t be a party pooper!” She playfully hit his shoulder and laughed, swinging her head back dramatically. “I want you both.” She paused again, looking at the two men for effect before she giggled to herself. “To spend the night with me. We can have a lot of fun. A lot.”
“Listen, Emily. You’re drunk. You don’t know what you’re saying.” Foster cautioned.
“She can’t be that drunk. She’s still talking.” Lloyd countered. “I think she’s fine and if she wants us to stay, who are we to deny her?”
“Yeah!” Emily agreed, vigorously nodding her head. She was about to get up when her dizziness caught up with her. She tumbled and fell into Lloyd’s lap. He grinned, his arms instantly wrapping around her, his hands creeping toward her ass.
“That’s enough. We can’t stay.” Foster’s voice was tense as he stood up, his stance wide and his face stoic. “I’m done playing this little game. You know this is wrong Lloyd, so quit thinking with your dick for once.”
At the word dick, Emily burst into a fit of giggles, her hand covering her mouth before she buried her face in Lloyd’s chest. “So, what do you want us to do?” Lloyd asked, seemingly annoyed. He could feel his cock throbbing in his pants. He wanted this woman so bad, but he couldn’t do anything with his step-brother constantly on his tail.
“We leave her here to sober up. Besides…” Foster pulled out his phone, looking at the time. “Sunrise is in twenty minutes. We have to go.”
“Is it time already?” Lloyd let out a heavy sigh before he got up, holding Emily in his arms. His hand rested on her ass, slowly creeping under her skirt before Foster gave him an accusatory look. Grumbling, he settled his hands over the skirt and draped her legs around his waist.
“Don’t try anything while you’re in there,” Foster called out as he made his way out of the room.
“I know. I know.” Lloyd answered grumpily. For a moment, he contemplated closing the door and having his fun with her, but he quickly decided against it. For one, it wouldn’t be worth the argument with Foster. And when he finally did have his fun with Emily, he wanted it to last. All night long.
“Stay put this time, okay?” He whispered as he laid her down on the bed. She shook her head and clung to his neck like a child.
“I don’t want you to go… why can’t you stay?” She whined, puffing out her bottom lip in protest. “We can all fit on my bed…” To prove her point, she shimmied to the very edge of the mattress, nearly falling off. “See.”
Lloyd chuckled softly before shaking his head. “We have to go.” Emily frowned, looking disappointed. Eventually, she let go of his neck, letting her arms fall limply by her side. “That’s a good girl. We’ll be back tomorrow.” He promised before he leaned down, kissing her lips with a rough passion. He struggled to pull away, but as he heard Foster clearing his throat at the doorway, he finally ended the kiss. Emily stared at him with a profound longing. She whimpered softly, but with the weight of Foster’s gaze on his back, he straightened out and walked away, turning his back on her.
“Did you really have to kiss her?” Foster hissed as they approached the stairs.
“I couldn’t help myself.” Lloyd shrugged. “You probably would’ve done the same thing.”
“No, unlike you, I’m a gentleman. I actually respect women.”
“Don’t act all righteous. You want her just as bad as I do.” Lloyd pointed out. “Don’t even try to deny it. I see the way you look at her. Besides, you practically spring a tent every time you see her.”
“Do not.” Foster huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. “Anyway, we need to get going. The sunrise is in a few minutes.”
“I don’t know how time flew by so quickly. I could’ve sworn the night was just getting started…”
“The humans have a phrase… Time flies when you’re having fun.” The two dragons laughed and started down the stairs.
“Wait!” Emily’s voice rang out.
“I thought I told you to stay put.” Lloyd was starting to get annoyed.
“But…” Emily held on tightly to the railing. “Why can’t you stay?” She asked, her cheeks bright red from the Dragon’s Ale.
“We just can’t, okay?” Lloyd took another step down the stairs. “We have to go.” His voice left no room for argument, but Emily was persistent. She feared being alone. The thought of spending yet another lonely night in her apartment terrified her. All she wanted was some company. Was that too much to ask for?
“Look, Emily, we can’t.” Foster pipped up. He could hear the depression in her voice. In that moment, he wanted nothing more than to stay with her, but he knew it was impossible. Once the sun started to rise, he would no longer be able to maintain his human form.
“Why not?” She raised her voice, getting on her tippy toes. As she did, she tottered on the edge of the stairs, suddenly losing her battle with gravity. Lloyd whipped out his arm in reaction, catching her before she could hit her head. Gently, he eased her back into a standing position, their eyes level now. Emily slowly opened hers and gasped.
“Lloyd! Your eyes.” She pulled back, feeling a chill run down her spine, but she couldn’t look away. Lloyd’s pupils were narrow slits that looked at her with momentary confusion.
“Fuck,” Foster growled, his voice much deeper than usual. He could feel his fingers getting longer and longer as they began transforming into claws. “We have to go.” There was a desperate urgency in his voice as he gripped his step-brother’s arm.
“Tell me what’s going on.” Emily insisted as she reached out and grabbed Foster’s wrist. The moment her skin made contact with his, however, she pulled back. “Ow!” She yelped, feeling like she had just burned the tip of her fingers. She fell back, landing on her ass on the top step. When she looked up, the two men were already running down the stairs. She couldn’t be certain, but she thought she noticed a scaly quality to their skin.
She wanted to get up and run after them, but her mind had stopped working. Her right arm was numb after touching Foster. Looking down, the tips of her fingers were red and she could swear they were pulsating. With the music of the nightclub ringing in her ears, she continued to sit there, trying to grasp what she had just witnessed. She blinked multiple times, thinking maybe her eyes were deceiving her, but as far as she could tell her vision was fine. She even pinched herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming, but she felt the sharp pain only reality could cause.
Eventually, the DJ stopped playing and the rest of the patrons shuffled out of the nightclub. The bartender gathered all the scattered
glasses, washing them and wiping the counter before leaving. As the manager locked up, the lights turned off, leaving Emily in the darkness. Still, she didn’t move. She hugged her knees, slowly sobering up as the hours crawled by.
Finally, she got up. She struggled to straighten herself out, feeling like her joints had locked in their bent positions. Slowly, she dragged her feet back to her apartment, letting the door slam behind her. She leaned against it, feeling her heartbeat quicken suddenly. “What just happened?” She whispered to herself. As she closed her eyes, Lloyd’s cat-like irises came back to haunt her. She shook her head, trying to forget about it before she walked toward the bathroom, stripping off her clothes before crossing the threshold.
She turned on the water before stripping down completely. Slowly, she stepped into the shower, letting the water rush down her body. The stream was frigid, waking her senses. She gasped, taking in deep breaths to replenish her lungs. Her body felt sluggish and heavy from the Ale. In that moment, she vowed never to take another sip of the potent alcohol. It was just too strong.
As she grabbed her body wash, her head felt like it would explode. There were a million questions running through her mind. What had she seen? Why couldn’t the men stay the night? Why was Foster’s skin scorching hot? Emily realized that no matter how hard she thought about it, she wouldn’t find the answers she was looking for. So, she just started washing her body, slowly soaping her chest.
She took her large breasts into her hands and closed her eyes, trying to wash all the night’s drama away. Her fingertips circled around her dark areoles, feeling the slightly bumpy surface before she caressed one of her nipples, feeling it react to her touch. It was already starting to harden and as she continued to play with it, back and forth, back and forth, it just got harder and harder.
Soon, Emily was moaning softly under her breath. She leaned against the shower wall as her hand ran along her wide hips before resting on her thighs. She slowly spread her legs, her fingers dancing over her skin before they ran along her clit. She bit her lip, trying keep from moaning, but as her finger continued to tease her sensitive pussy, she just couldn’t help it.
