“Hot guys? You can handle yourself. That’s what all the meditation and fighting’s for. You had decent sex with Alistair and never crisped him.”
Ice nodded. Not brilliant, but okay, and much better than with anyone else.
“So you know decent sex won’t send you into burn mode. You deserve some fun. You tell me, when are we ever going to see men like those two again? They don’t exist, babe. Let’s go have another drink. See where the night leads us.”
Ice shifted from one foot to the other—thinking. Oh, fuck it! Sian was right. She existed, but that wasn’t living. And for once, for just one night, she wanted to damn well live.
“Okay. Let’s go.”
“Yes.” Sian clapped her hands and squealed.
They caught up with the guys. They were strolling side by side and Ice admired how well they went together. Both tall. Both incredibly good looking. A vivid image of Nathan kissing her hard, and Dominic lifting her hair and nibbling her throat, flashed through her mind. She blinked and shook the erotic image away.
Sian did shit like that, not her. Sian once had a threesome, where the two guys were into one another as well as her, and declared it the hottest night of her life. The details had been lurid and at times mind boggling. Ice hadn’t ever fancied a ménage personally, but suddenly the idea seemed all kinds of attractive if it included Nathan and Dominic.
They reached the hotel bar and Nathan gestured for the women to go ahead.
Throwing caution to the wind, Ice ordered another gin and tonic at the bar. She’d insisted on buying this round. Dominic and Sian were in deep conversation. Sian stopped talking and grabbed her phone out of her pocket. She frowned then said something to Dominic.
Sian came over to Ice. “Babe, I’ve got to go. Mum’s been struck with one of her migraines, and you know she needs help when she does.”
“Okay.” Ice sighed in disappointment. Geez, don’t be so stupid, she chided herself. “Give me a second and I’ll come with you.”
“No. You stay. Nathan is interested in you. Dom told me so. You deserve this. You’re safe here, it’s a public bar in a major hotel and there’s a taxi rank outside. Stay. See what happens. Live. Carpe diem, babe.”
“Are you sure you’re okay?”
“Yeah, of course. I’ll get her fixed up with painkillers and a sick bowl and sit it out with her. Look, I have to get going, darling. See you tomorrow.” Sian kissed her cheek and headed for the door. Ice watched through the windows to make sure her friend got into a cab safely.
The barwoman placed three drinks on the bar and took her money, handing her change back. Ice struggled to gather all three until a large hand grabbed one beer from the bar. She turned and gave a small gasp. Quiet for such a large man, Nathan had come up behind her, so close his front touched her back.
“Is everything okay?” His voice rumbled through her back, and she shivered. God, the man got to her. His scent hit her, all woodsy and spicy; and it did things to her. Turned her on. Did these guys wear some sort of pheromone loaded aftershave or something?
“Yeah, thanks. Her mum’s ill so she’s headed home.” Ice wound her way back to their table. As she neared, Dominic looked up and smiled at her. It socked her straight in the gut. Okay, maybe Dominic got to her too. If she’d a choice, she honestly didn’t know who she’d choose. Nathan turned her on but also unnerved her. Dominic turned her on and made her smile. No-brainer you’d think, go for the guy who made you laugh. But she’d met few men who had the impact of Nathan. Potency rolled from him like fog off the sea, and a chance to get close to his raw, masculine energy tempted her.
They sat and chatted about mundane things. Ice talked about her favorite music and Dominic told her his top ten best movies. Nathan listened and added the rare comment.
She checked the time on her phone—midnight. “I need to get home,” she said.
Part of her wanted one of them to ask her to stay, and the other half found the idea terrifying.
“You don’t have to go.” Nathan ran a finger down her arm, and the simple touch electrified her.
“You can stay with us.” Dominic leaned in close and lifted the hair from her nape, before setting it back again. The brush of hair against overcharged skin made her shiver.
Stay? With them? Both of them?
Who was she kidding? She wanted it more than anything. It helped she’d a nice buzz going, relaxing her usual iron control.
“Come.” Nathan held his hand out and she took it.
In a daze, she followed him to the lift. They rode up in silence, with Nathan still holding her hand, and Dominic resting his palm on her back. Little jolts coursed through her. Ice couldn’t believe she was about to be in a threesome. Would the guys get it on, similar to Sian’s experience, or would it be all about her?
They’d reached the room and Ice stepped over the threshold and looked around. “Oh, wow! This is amazing! It’s massive.”
“Nothing but the best,” Dominic said.
Farther in, she found herself drawn to the floor to ceiling picture window. They were high up, and Glasgow sparkled like a Christmas tree below. A few people still meandered about. The room tilted and she put her palms up on the glass. Whoa! Disoriented, she lifted her head, but it only made things spin faster. Her stomach roiled. “Oh no!”
“What’s wrong, sweetheart?” Dominic walked over to her.
“I think I’m gonna be sick.”
“Bathroom is in there.” Nathan pointed to the door on the far wall. “There’s a towel and a spare toothbrush in there. Feel free to take a shower and see if it helps, and if you want some painkillers there’s some in the bag on the vanity.”
Dominic shot Nathan an angry glare. “Yeah. And if you are sick, shout. I’ll come help you if you need it.”
The last thing she needed was either of these men witnessing her chucking her guts up. Ice tottered into the bathroom, closed the door firmly behind her, and bolted it.
Half-an-hour, two rounds of vomiting and one shower and teeth cleansing later, she felt almost human again. She’d put her panties back on, along with the long T-shirt she’d worn over her jeans. Nervously, she exited the bathroom. The two guys were in bed…together. So it looked as if the idea had been for a fully inclusive threesome. Not happening anytime soon. Her head pounded like crazy despite the pain meds.
“You look wiped out.” Nathan smiled at her and pulled back the covers. “You can sleep here with us. No funny business.” He held his hands up. “I can see you’re worse for wear. Or I can make up the sofa bed?”
“Here’s fine. Thank you.” She climbed into the bed, face burning at the show she’d made of herself. That’s what you got when you knocked back gin and you didn’t usually drink.
She nestled the pillow, soft as a cloud, and closed her eyes.
Bright. So damn bright. Ice moaned and put a hand over her eyes. She swallowed, but her throat closed in protest, dry as a desert. “Oh, my god.”
Moving her hand, she blinked open one eye. What the hell? This wasn’t her apartment, and she panicked at the strange room around her. Then it all came back. The two guys, two incredibly hot guys, who’d wanted a threesome before she’d gone and thrown up in their bathroom.
“Oh, my god.” This time she groaned the words, shame burning her face.
Something heavy and warm lay over her waist and thigh, along with an arm around her shoulders. She turned her head and let out a small squeak. Nathan snuggled close, it was his weighty thigh draped over her legs. His rhythmic breathing told her he still slept.
After her momentary freak out at his proximity, she relaxed into the closeness and enjoyed the sense of security. These two guys weren’t only hot, but they were decent, too. They’d taken care of her when she’d gotten sick-drunk. Offered to hold her hair and slept with her all night, not trying anything. And big bad Nathan appeared to be a cuddler!
He mumbled something in his sleep, something about…dragons? Wow, some dream he must be having.<

She tried to move his leg, pushing at it with her hand, but Nathan only mumbled again, and snuggled closer. She squirmed in his grasp and then stopped and went dead still. Something hard, and rather large, pressed into her back. Shit. Now what?
“Morning, beautiful.” Nathan’s words ghosted against her skin. “Hmm, you smell good.” This time his lips caressed her, light and tender.
Her nipples hardened and her core clenched. His voice! It did a number on her every time he spoke.
“Morning.” Dominic’s voice drifted across Nathan to reach her. “I can smell you from here, your scent is divine.”
She’d have thought her Armani perfume would have worn off by now, especially after her scrubfest in the shower
“Do you want to play, Ice?” Nathan asked, and his voice held a guttural edge.
The million dollar question. Did she want to play? Her body said yes, but her sober mind urged caution. Nathan brushed over her breast, fingers trailing over her aching nipple. Fuck caution. Sober, she wanted them more than last night.
Ice twisted until she faced Nathan. She met his gaze straight on, and then focused on his mouth, tracing it with her thumb. When she nodded, he gave a low groan and pulled her flush to him. He fisted his hand in her hair and tugged her closer, pressing his mouth to hers. The kiss was ravenous. Not soft or tentative or patient. No, Nathan kissed her as if he owned her.
He drew back. “I want to taste you.”
Oh, yes, she liked the sound of that!
Nathan lifted himself over her, his big arms propping him up. He dropped a brief touch to her lips before moving down her body, licking and nuzzling at her neck. He lifted her tee to under her breasts and kissed her belly. She sighed at the sensation. A hot breath at her ear gave a millisecond warning before Dominic nibbled the tender shell. The dual sensations drove her crazy.
Pushing her T-shirt farther up, Nathan enveloped one breast in his big palm, and she arched into his touch. He rubbed his thumb over her peaked nipple, drawing a gasp from her.
When his hand left her breast to smooth its way over her stomach, she instantly mourned it, but Dominic bent his head and sucked her aching nipple into his mouth.
The first touch of Nathan’s mouth to her core sent sparks zinging through her body. His tongue laved up her slit, and she moaned as Dominic moved to her other breast.
Nathan used his fingers to part her and lowered his head once more. He inhaled deeply, and Ice went rigid with shock. No guy had done such a thing before.
“Your scent is heavenly,” he uttered before diving back in and licking her most sensitive area.
His tongue focused on the exquisite bundle of nerves at her nub. She arched off the bed, her breath coming in pants. Her legs trembled as her desire built. Dominic continued to pay attention to her breasts, but he also trailed his fingers over the skin of her side and belly, up and down in a tantalizing pattern.
Higher and higher they wound her, not pausing or giving a moment for her to gather herself. Nathan grabbed her ass cheeks and pulled her closer to his mouth, and she flew into the stratosphere. Her insides clenched repeatedly as she came for a long time. Her moans and cries filled the room, and her hands fisted in the sheets. When it ended, she raised her eyes to the ceiling in awe.
“Oh. My. God.” She’d no other words.
Nathan looked up at her and smirked, one sided and cocky, and sexy as hell. She needed to touch him, to touch them both. A very naughty idea popped into her head. She crooked her finger at Nathan and then Dom. “Get those clothes off and come sit up here beside me, both of you.”
Nate and Dominic exchanged glances, but did as they were told. Shocked at her brazenness, she bit back a smile. Hell, she doubted she’d ever see them again; this was a moment of fantasy outside of normal existence. Why not enjoy it to the max? Play the femme fatale she’d never be in real life.
She pushed the covers farther down the bed and took a moment to admire both men. Dominic wrapped his hand around his impressive erection and gave a tug. Nathan folded his arms across his chest and raised his brows in a question mark.
Ice glanced at his erection and swallowed. God, he was big. Long and thick, and already leaking fluid from the tip. She licked a long swipe up each palm and took hold of each man, knocking Dominic’s hand out of the way. Teasing at first, she explored them both. Nathan lay thick and heavy in her palm. Dominic was longer and leaner.
Nathan grunted and pushed his hips up, forcing his cock through her fingers. “Tease,” he chided.
She smiled, but took pity on them and set up a proper rhythm. It didn’t take long before Dominic’s thigh muscles corded and he came with a sigh, spilling over her fingers.
Nathan watched her working Dominic, and swore as he reached his climax, spurting long ropes of his seed onto her belly.
Still recovering from the orgasm of her life, the sights and sounds of the two men coming had Ice turned on again.
“Wow.” Nathan wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her long and hard.
When he’d finished, Dominic took hold of her chin and turned her head around, claiming his own kiss.
The guys gathered her up, until she found herself cocooned in two strong pairs of arms, sated, safe, and secure. She enjoyed the feeling. Enjoyed it far too much.
Chapter Four
Nathan admired Ice’s physique as the water ran in rivulets over her arms and legs. They’d played around some more, Ice giving him a blowjob and Dominic taking care of himself while he went down on Ice. They’d not crossed the line and actually fucked. Nathan didn’t dare until he knew she’d return with them. Once two males had sex with their matched female as a three, they created a bond between them, almost impossible to break. Ice needed the full story before they went there, but he couldn’t figure out how to tell her. Dom had gone for a run, and he’d rather wait until they were all together.
“You’ve got a fantastic body,” he told her.
She wrinkled her nose. “You think so?”
“Don’t you? You clearly work hard at it.”
“I work hard at being a good fighter, not looking a certain way. Trust me. Most men don’t appreciate muscles on a woman. And I’ve got no boobs.” She shrugged. “A lot of guys don’t go for my type.”
“Human males are stupid.” As soon as the words left his mouth, Nathan realized his mistake.
She snorted, bending at the waist to wash her legs. “Human males? And what are you, robots?” She kept her words light but wariness stole into her eyes.
He sighed. “We need to talk, beautiful.”
“Okay.” She continued to lather the sponge she held with body wash, but her movements were suddenly studied not natural.
He sighed, regretting his slip up but unable to take it back. Either he lied now, which would make her trust them even less when he finally revealed the truth or he put it out there. Took the risk. Surely, she sensed she wasn’t like other humans. Even if she owned no memories of her dragon life, she possessed dragon gifts. He’d overheard some of her conversation with her friend the previous evening, and gleaned enough to understand she’d experienced occasions when her inner dragon fought to get out. Hopefully his words wouldn’t be quite the shock he dreaded. “We…Dom and I…aren’t human. Neither are you.”
She stared at him for a long moment. Fear morphed into anger and disappointment washed over her features. Setting her jaw tight, she threw the sponge at him. Nathan shut his eyes as soapy water hit his face. When he opened them, Ice was hugging a towel around herself, shooting him a disgusted look.
“You just had to ruin it didn’t you. Why do I always attract the freaks? So close to being normal…then this.”
Door banging behind her, she stormed out of the bathroom and into the bedroom. Cursing, he followed hot on her heels. She’d already got her jeans on and pulled the T-shirt over her head as he reached her.
“Listen to me, beautiful.”
“Don’t ‘beautiful’ me. You don’t know me
. This is a bit of fun…or it was, before you decided to make me a laughing stock for the two of you.”
“I’ll explain, if you’ll give me a moment.”
“No. I need to go feed George. My neighbor’s not back until this evening, and he’ll get cranky if he misses his lunch.” She skirted around him, gathering her things from the floor and stuffing them in her bag.
For the second time in his life, he didn’t know what to do. If he tried to make her stay, she’d lose all trust in him. She’d no clue of her heritage, yet kept herself closed off from most people, seemingly due to her fear of hurting them. If he went in heavy handed now, scared her even more, she’d likely bolt. He knew where she lived. He’d let her leave and go fetch her once Dominic returned.
She didn’t look back, and closed the suite door behind her. Nathan sat on the bed and raked his hands through his hair. Give him a battlefield full of possible death and he retained a cool head, but it seemed his mate could rattle him no end.
Dominic swung the door open ten minutes later and Nathan turned to face his bonded male. How did he explain this fuck up?
“She’s gone.” Dominic didn’t ask.
“Yes. How did you…”
“Her scent isn’t here anymore. What did you do?”
“I messed up.”
Dominic’s face softened. “Wow. The mighty Nathan admits he fucked up. How?”
“I blurted out something about human men being stupid and she picked up on it. Like a fucking hawk. I’d bet good money, if she were human the words would have washed over her and I could have explained them away. As it is, she knows something about her is wrong. At least when it comes to fitting into the human world. So I told her the truth. Thought it better than more lies.”
Dominic sat down on the bed and crossed his legs. “I take it she didn’t react well.”
A smile tugged at his lips as he recalled her words. “She said I was a freak.”
“Well, she kind of got that one right.”
Nathan picked up a brochure on the hotel dresser and threw it at Dom’s head, but the other male batted it away with a laugh.
