Virginia City
Virginia City is a real city set in the mountains south of Reno, Nevada Virgina City came to life when the first major silver deposit, the Comtock Lode, was discovered in 1959. Virginia Cit. Virginia City was declared a National Historic Landmark district in 1961, approximately 100 years after Mark Twain lived there.With wooden sidewalks, buildings that have a slight lean to them, a bar called the “Bucket of Blood”, another bar that shows off a gamblers “suicide table,” ghosts, and one of kind events throughout the year it is a must see for anyone traveling to the Reno or Carson City area.
