photo. Staring at the photo, Jeremy’s thoughts went back to the time when the picture of Jennifer was taken on their wedding day. Though the wedding planning had been stressful, it went very smoothly and Jennifer was radiant that day. She had looked very alive.
After gazing at the picture for several minutes, it hit him. He had been only thinking of how she died. He had not paid much attention to how she lived. Though her life was cut short, they did have many good times together. He smiled to himself as the memories started flowing in his mind.
“Jenny, are you the one that has been trying to tell me to focus on how you lived?” he asked aloud.
He stood silent it the bedroom, just listening for any type of response. It was silent for several seconds.
“Yes, my dear Jeremy,” a female voice answered.
Tears welled up in his eyes after hearing the response. He was stunned. Backing himself up carefully, he then sat on the edge of the bed. He turned slowly in the direction of the voice. He could see some type of shadow near the other side of the bed. He was at peace.
